After visiting India in Feb '13, I started having diarrhea issues
A yeast overgrowth was diagnosed.
Earlier this year, while on many antifungals, i had pain in rectum... which became an abscess, and then a fistula.
Tests are neg for Crohn's but Dr is recommending to try a Crohn's medicine because the fistula is bad.

Will be meeting the GI tomorrow. He recommended Remicade.

Would be grateful for any suggestions on q's to bring up.

I am wondering:

1) Are there any other medicines that will work?
2) HBOT as a treatment?
3) LDN as a treatment?
4) Would going on a liquid diet help this heal?

I was on various antibiotics from March to about May while having abscesses until the fistula was diagnosed, but since then have not been on much.

Would this heal with antibiotics alone?

Earthshine antibiotics can work too. Flagyl and cipro together are the usual protocol
Probably a better choice for you than remicade as they would likely work on non crohns fistulas while remicade likely won't.
Diagnosis is really important in deciding on treatment
