Hi, so im a abit confused. So when i drink milk im in soo much pain. Cheese, custard, cream ect all hurt my tummy and leave it gurgling and in pain. So i cut out dairy. I drink almond milk instead of milk and have soy ice cream and custard. I am really missing my cheese as i cant find any nice vegan cheeses. Does anyone know any nice brands?
I am from the uk by the way. So lots of people say that alot if sufferers are lactose intolerent brcause the sugar is to hard to digest so i tryed lactofree cheese but even after i just a little slice i was in agony. The resason im confused is that i can eat milk in biscuits and cakes and bread ect but
not sauces, soups, cheeses and desserts ect so i cant be allergic to dairy if i can eat it in some things so what could it be?

Im wondering if its more than the lactose your allergic to maybe. I fully understand with not having decent cheeses in the uk for us. It also depends what kind of taste your into. But I have found theres a selection of soya cheeses from tesco that are nice. They come in vintage, mature etc and have more of a taste to them. But I personally have not found a perfect cheese that tastes exactly like a normal chedder, mozzerella etc yet. There normally more plastic consistancy too which annoys me when I try to melt them.
