I have a numb feeling in the top of my thigh and when I sprint it hurts. When I lost weight do to a flare up the spot of numbness got bigger then when I gained the weight back up it got smaller. I went to my doctor and he said it has something to do with a nerve but it's not familiar to have it on that spot because when it's usually a pinched nerve it effects more of the side of the thigh.
Anyone else have any numbness/tingly feeling anywhere in their bodies? Maybe it's a Crohn's thing cause I've had this before all the heavy Crohn's medication and before my first Crohn's flare.

Personally i doubt it. Maybe your overdoing that muscle. whaen do u get it .. at the statr of sprints or wen youre fatigued? are you leaving long enough between exercise?

I have something similar with my arm/shoulder though it can go away for months at a time, I try to sleep with it dangling out of the bed so it gets max blood flow.

I put it down to one of the many deficiencies that come and go without any pattern, I think it affects the nerves.

I've had a weird sensation on the under part of my thigh before.
I tried to explain it to a nurse, but she had no idea what I was talking about - it's not so much a pain ,as a sensation...that's the only way I can describe it.

It's on my left leg...which is also the one that I get knee pain in when I'm flaring.
