Prescription Charges e-petition

Hi all.

Right so we have all seen about the new rise in prescription charges and even with pre payed certificates its still a very expensive part of a crohns/colitis sufferers life. Well if we all get together we might be able to change that.

This is a link to an epetition to get prescription charges free for IBD sufferers (well at lease to get it discussed)

I will sign this. This is something I know Crohn's and Colitis UK have been campaigning for for a while. They are campaigning for all chronic illnesses. Atm I get mine for free anyway being on job seekers, and its only one a month, but it would be so much better not to pay at all. Its not fair we literally need it to survive.

I have signed it. It doesn't affect me yet as it is my son that has crohns. But in a few years it will be him needing to pay. The amount of meds he is on will cost a fortune each month if he has to pay.

CDJ he can get a pre-payment card which will save a fortune per month
