hi! so ive noticed the past few years or so, that if i stand (or even walk) for more than a solid 5 to 10 minutes, i start feeling really strained in my stomach, the lower part of it to be exact, then i end up feeling nausous if i dont sit down or heavily lean against something to where im hunched over. it feels like gravity is playing havoc on whats left of my intestines and stomach, like its just grabbign then and pulling them down.

has anyone had this symptom before? my doc just kinda glazes over it, saying ill get used to it, but its such a damper on life, and im basically a semi-healthy looking 20 year old, so people look at me funny using my handicapped parking or if i try to use a scooter in the store. i cant enjoy what i used to, and i just wanna fix it.

Have you had any surgeries?

I have trouble standing for long periods due to joint pain, and I do get the feeling you do but it doesn't seem to be caused by standing.

i remember my doctor saying something about this to me if i had to get a stoma. cant remeber exactly what it was he said tho, seeing him next week so i'll ask:)

it could just be gravity affecting inflammed areas inside you.. the longer you stand, the more it pulls.

i have never had that symptom, although i do get back ache if i stand for a long time, and quite often dizziness too.

Yes, ive had multiple surgeries, including a temporary ileostomy, but it was reversed close to 8 years ago, and now i have a Jpouch (with crohns...so odd) i have an appointment again later this month, and i hope if i bring it back up wtih some of these suggestions, i might actually get an answer.
