Raw skin

Good day everyone. The skin around my stoma under the bag is always so tender and raw. The pain is so uncomfortable I just cry it goes on for days. Is there something I could do to alleviate the pain. My doctor recc a cream but it burned when I applied it.

I recommend going back to your doctor and telling him about the cream reaction. This could be anything....

Contact an ET therapist, they handle cases like yours and will find ways to solve the problem. Usually its caused by a poor fitting appliance or a lack of barrier creams. They will treat the tender area, provide samples and find the best fit for you.
