How do WBC counts usually run for someone with Crohn's (when not taking any medications)? Is WBC typically normal, low, or high? How about a T-cell panel? (I know immunosuppressants have side effects such as lowering WBC count but not asking about that).

My WBC is usually normal. When I first started on Imuran it actually went very high and I had to go off for a while, but I think I had just picked something up at around the same time.

When I was admitted to hospital (before we knew it was Crohn's) my wbc was high. They gave me antibiotics and it came down to normal, but a week later I had bad abdo pain again and was readmitted, and my wbc was even higher than before.

Not sure about t-cells, sorry.

I would imagine it should sit in the normal level. A high WBC count is a sign of infection. Since T cells are also a type of lymphocyte and so tie in with the whole white blood cell and immune process, it wouldn't necessarily be surprising that if your WBC is low that they are also low.
