Ok - so, for the last few days I have had a spot under the right side of my jaw that is sore - doesn't really feel like a lymph node....

It is about 3 fingers back from the point of my chin, and a hard lump - and only on the one side. Today, I noticed that if I touch along the jaw bone itself, it is a little sore.....

Any thoughts on what it might be? Again, it doesn't feel like a swollen lymph node, those are usually further down the neck.....

Might be a good idea to check in with your dentist, don't leave it too long, could be indicative of an infection.
You are also on remicade?
Could cause you to be prone to an infection.
Be well soon.

I just got over (fingers crossed) a type of thyroiditis. The Endo did an ultrasound and showed me all of my lymphnodes and how swollen and infected they were. It took a little while for them to hurt (before I saw the Endo). But they were quite sore, and it hurt not just to touch but also to twist and bend my neck.

If the dentist can't show you, remember that some Endos have an ultrasound machine in office. They could easily identify it for you.

Best wishes <3

Well- of course after posting the lump started to go away! Almost gone now, and sure doesn't hurt as much.....

Good thing, as I am landlocked at home - can't even get to the doctors' office....of more than a couple miles from home!

:) good to know it's getting better

:( sorry for the flooding. I'm in FL, so I totally understand.
