For those of you in the UK, you might know of Boyce Avenue. That's what I'm listening to right now.

Love this ♥

Bon Iver - Holocene  This video is awesome, check it out!

This music really helps me to relax. Last night I was so anxious thinking about the upcoming surgery, that I took one sedative pill (Opamox 15 mg) and listened to Bon Iver with my headphones. Fell asleep and woke up this morning well rested.

... I'm not a junkie or anything though:biggrin:

The new album by M83 is my favorite thing to listen to lately.

Oh Jane, there we go. I love Mumford and Sons!

Ctrl Z- Wow! Its been so long since I've heard anyone talk about M83!

Anything deadmau5, david guetta, chris brown, rihanna, nicki minaj, kid cudi, mike posner...I call all of it "busy" music. My hubby makes me listen to The Cranberrys and Edie Brikel and when its over I feel like jumping out the window. I play classical viola so I hear that some. And then I get into just listening to myself belt out something. I'm very moody abolut my music...

Pat Metheny " One quiet night "

Factory is quiet , lights off sound system turned up just a bit. I can hear the strings creak as he plays out a unsolvable chord sequence. Simply beautiful guitar playing.

My daughter downloaded an instrumental piece to her ipod lastnight, a cello piece. Had me listen to it. Closed my eyes, it was so beautiful I actually was moved to tears, the dog was alarmed for me, lol!

Wow, Caeryn, I already love it just by the lyrics. Speaks to me alot today, things I have been going thru in the last 6 months with my husband. Thanks so much for sharing!

Foo Fighters - Stranger Things Have Happened

Oh man... Can't even explain how much I looooooove this song!

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know
Newly discovered this one, I love it because they really put the emotion across in their voices.

I've been listening to "The A Team -Ed Sheeran" a lot lately. Its just such a good song. I think everyone should check it out

Yeah, not so much. A fellow artist introduced me to Danzig...I just couldn't get on board with it. Beyond them I'm not really familiar with other bands-any rec's?

Hmmm if Danzig is too heavy for you then no hahaha Danzig wouldn't even be close to extreme metal :D but each to their own :) its good you like some metal, what Metallica stuff do you like?

Hmm, Metalica songs I like: The Unforgiven, Sad but True, Wherever I May Roam, just to name a few.

I've been listening to Sixto Roddriguez a whole lot for the past two days. Old, obscure 70's folk singer from Detroit who unexpectedly -- and without his knowledge -- got huge in apartheid South Africa.

I should really get my sleeping patterns in check, but with midnight music like this it's bloody difficult. Especially "Sugar Man" could keep me awake all night.

Lucidor, have you ever heard Nick Drake's music? Same type, same time period. I just discovered it a few years ago.

I believe it is the same song, forget it was in that movie. Love Bruno Mars! Just heard a new song by Shinedown that I like already, called "Follow You Down"....awesome lyrics.

Bonnie Raitt - "wrong direction"
Rebelution- "ordinary girl"
Keb Mo- "just like you"

but I have taylor swift stuck in my head!

Lily Allen's version of Keane's Somewhere Only We Know! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

London Grammar absolutely blowing my mind at the moment...

I was listening to Kari Jobe and Carman earlier in the day. They are two contemporary Christian artists.

It's shame people only know it now as the 70's Show theme by the Cheap Trick.

Currently listening to Counting Stars by One Republic a lot, and Broken Arrow by the Script, not an overly happy song, but one I feel like I can connect with
