What is YOUR weather like today??

Crohn's Disease Forum

Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

There was 14" of wet snow that fell overnight. It's dropping to -10c tonight. The current temperature is -3c. I have sweat myself to damn near passing out cleaning up our yard. It took me four hours. My father has three hernias and I have told him to take care of himself and heal up....... He and mother yell at me for not leaving him anything to do? I'm sureley going to have a buggered back and still take care of groceries tomorrow...Should anyone be mad that I shoveled 10 metric tons of snow??? As soon as I can I'm outta here. No respect or appreciation. No wonder my brother won't speak to them, or me. I try to tell them that my back is jacked from 14 lower end surgeries and all the nerve damage that has occurred. Nobody listens and all I get is more stress. Rant Not Over.

No one is having good weather at the moment. I feel for you Ron. What if they could put a shield of some sort between you and the sun. Just for a few minutes each hour or something.,

It's so dark today it's hard to see anything indoors. My heating is not on yet though. That's a good thing. Perhaps Carol won't like it. Chris, sounds like you are a workaholic, and too kind to your dear dad lol. Take it easy and eat twice as much on Xmas Day so you replenish weight and fluids.

6c and raining.....Almost 37,000 new cases since yesterday and 700 deaths. It's g etting really scarey now with the new variant which travels more quickly......Di.. thinking about your families troubles,it's really sad......Chris as the saying goes "you can choose your friends but not your family ",alas.
It's so unfair that you're not appreciated.....Buff,I'm glad to hear you're not to proud or stubborn to accept help when it's offered. Ron, hope you're coping OK in that heat.

At least 35 cms of fresh snow so far, and its not over as they expect more along with increasing winds as the temps fall. Lights have flickered, if it goes out the generator can have a good run. I am going to go easy on the shoveling and do it over a period of days by breaking the work down to manageable pieces. Its the only way to do this. If I start breaking into a sweat I know I have to slow down. Going slow but steady gets the work done sooner, while giving me some exercise.
Take it easy Chris, its all too easy to over do it. Carol I am smart enough to know that accepting help from the neighbor is the noble thing. In the isolated region we live independently, but when a neighbor needs help we step in to help out, its part of the rural way of living, sticking up for one another.

-23C Brilliant sunshine under cobalt blue skis. The storm has left the area with close to 60 cms. This leaves us in good shape for the winter, plenty of snow for skiing and snowmobiling, and plenty to prevent the problems of well and septic freeze ups. I am still technically snowed in. I dug out the woodpile, outhouse and the deck only to have it burried again. So I will have to start over. I have not even begun shoveling out the truck and driveway, first I have to get to it. To do that I will ski a path for the snowmobile to follow as the snow is too deep for the snowmobile without first packing it down some. This will take me another two days at least. Slow and easy.

Cloudy and cooler today , I got all of my test results , Prostate and diabetes good, all blood counts excellent, INR (warfarin) still to high ,will check it again next week. The doctor apologised that he could not help me with the pain from my fall which is increasing as the deep bruising sets in. All in all it appears I will make it into 2021 in reasonable condition if not free of pain. Ron.

Glad to hear that your test results came up good, but no apology for a doctor who refuses to prescribe painkillers. Its unfortunate that politics had to enter the medicine cabinet, and many sit in silence without pain management. Today will be day 3 for shoveling snow. Lots to do this afternoon as I will shovel out the truck and parking area, that is if the snowmobile can navigate the trail I made with the skis yesterday without getting stuck. The work has put my body to the test, so far so good by doing it a little bit at a time.
-24C this morning, partly cloudy and calm.

We certainly don't have those temps, Buff. but i'm pleased you have snow enough to enjoy some days out. Take it easy though if you can. that sounds like an awful lot of snow. The frost was still on the ground as i closed the curtains. Having a boring xmas here. Even my cat hasn't got up.

Enjoy your day all. Merry Xmas to you all.

Not as cold as yesterday. Plenty of birds in the garden though. I think it's the frosts that prevent them from early morning feeding. I've put plenty out there for them. Having another quiet day in. We're in tier 3 now and god knows what the rules are, they keep changing tiers and changing what's allowed and what isn't. So i'm just doing essentials.

Enjoy your Boxing Day folks.

8c and fine.Snow in nearby counties yesterday and flood further down the country. We made the effort to have a walk xmas day and today and it's been much the same as any day for us except the TV is more crapish than usual.Storm Bella on the way for tomorrow but looks like the south is getting the worst of it.

I finished digging out yesterday, the worst of it was keeping the snowmobile going without getting it stuck on the first pass. Then it was two hours of shoveling. 30 seconds of shoveling followed by a minute long break, it is surprising how quickly it goes and how pleasant it is to look around and observe nature while doing it, I never broke into a sweat. No sense rushing it and getting into a huff.
It was a quiet day, and today will be another quiet one. -15 C cloudy with a flurry.

Parents, we're stuck with them. I have nerve damage too which feels like pins and needles in my feet and lower leg. Sciatica ?
Humbug. Chronic lower back pain so some days I have to sit at my sink to do the dishes and leave dust balls under the furniture. Most annoying if you like to keep your home looking nice. Best to develop selective hearing loss and find a hobby that takes your mind off your troubles. A huge storm is battering the South West of England with homes flooded. London is spared, thank goodness.

Cloudy today but no rain yet, some severe storms in NSW yesterday. In north west Victoria the wimmera and mallee districts are facing catastrophic fire danger with strong NW winds. Got a call from my brother yesterday he has been in hospital for two days .He is 76 and suffers from ulcerative collitis and barrets oesophagitis . He has had headaches , severe vomiting and diahorrea . They have been suggesting all manner of problems including cancer. I called him today and suggested they treat him for norovirus. I don't know why the always overlook the obvious. I don't know how many times I have been checked for bladder cancer when I pass uric acid kidney stones. He was feeling a bit better this morning. Ron.

Hardly noticed the storm last night. Was awoken by rain once, but that was it. Actually it's not so cold and the sun is out now. The first of the snowdrops are up which is lovely to see. I do look for signs of life within these dreary days. Unfortunately my nephew lost his life yesterday and i don't suppose i can travel for his funeral. We are now in tier 3 and Cornwall isn't.

Pleased you have a cloudy day Ron, let's hope it keeps the temperature down for you. Sad to hear your brother has been in hospital over Xmas. Let's hope they sort it fast.

Hello, sorry to hear about your brother. When you get to be over fifty five, doctors keep talking about cancer, it's the same for women and they can't wait to do all sorts of procedures. Usually, it's just a common garden bug that can be treated with a liquid diet like chicken soup, antibiotics and bed rest. Older people do much better at home.
We had a mini hurricane type storm overnight in my London suburb with the tiles on the roof rattling and whistling and banging noises. Earplugs to the rescue. There will be fallen branches everywhere until the Council can clear them. Like being in the Wizard of Oz.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your nephew Di. -12C under cloud. Yesterday I cleaned the chimney. I Saw nobody over the Christmas period, with few emails or phone calls, probably the strangest Christmas of any. I worked more what with the cleanup after the storm than I have since working on the cabin roof. I am going to need a time out from the work and rest up.

I like your idea of mild, Chris. Mild is actually UK weather. We'd be freezing. I think Ron and Carol would admire your weather as mild lol.
Ron, hope the bruises and pains are less painful for now. Who worries about a spot of housework when in pain.

Jack Frost is out there again this morning although it is trailing off as I watch. No sun yet and possibilities of snow and rain. Buff, my Xmas was exactly the same. No one phoned due to my nephew it was all tests and messages over the current state of health. this was the most non-xmas i've known too.

Hello, storm Bella which hit Britain has passed and this morning, it's frosty in South London. Freezing cold and I put out bread for the sparrows and blue tits that are nesting under the eaves. My cat watches them from the window ledge. It could be a Christmas card if my street wasn't full of litter which is never collected. I have a litter picker and over the years I must have picked up at least 100 KGS but I'm not up to it these days.
You never see litter in Hollywood movies like the Holiday. I hate living on a dirty
street.

Same quiet Christmas for us too ,but no different to the last 18+yrs.. except when we had the dogs and there was no lockdown of course,we'd go for a hike and a pic-nic on Xmas day......a sad time for your family and you Di., just when you think things can't get any bloody worse,...Sigh !!!
A very frosty start to the day,but plenty of sun. Temp dropping towards evening and 0c just now.

-17C under clearing skies. I lost my father 24 years ago on Christmas after a battle with colon cancer that spread to his liver. After losing a loved one on Christmas, Christmas is never the same, the thoughts and memories keep repeating themselves each year. It becomes an emotional rollercoaster. I had to get groceries yesterday and with the restart of the lockdown I was expecting a long lineup at the store, but there was none and the place was nearly empty. I was home in no time.

The temperature has been as low as -10c and rose to -3c or so. It's grocery day here... I got some Hungarian salami! Yeah buddy!! It's been gently snowing all day adding to the snow pack (maybe 2 inches all day). I hope to get out into the woods soon... I think I'll go for a walk tomorrow to look at all the wildlife and the frozen beauty.

4c here today. A light flurry of snow is coming down. Don't expect it will settle however, we are expecting a few more of these wintery flurries over the next few days. I've more small birds turning up now that it's cold. Pleased to see them. Sounds like a beautiful winter going on in Canada now. Enjoy it, and the groceries.

Hello, cold again here in London and I am sitting on my old settee watching the King and I with Jodie Foster. Not her best role.
I've got a scarf wrapped around my head like an Easter egg due to the toothache which has plagued me for months. Back and forth to the dentist and no date yet for my root canal operation. He won't do it as too complicated. On a lighter note, it's flea treatment day for my cats and bribery with cat treats. Miaow.

Christmas is not a happy time for a lot of people despite what the TV ads would have us believe. We had good xmas's when our oldies were alive and before Scott went to Aus.so have happy memories.
Di., there's a shortage of little birds out back. The fat balls are turning black.
Val ,it's nice of you to invite Jody to watch a movie with you but I hope she's wearing a mask ?
3c and sunny with a few short showers today.I too have been for the groceries so that's it until 2021.Watching Bridge on the River Kwai AGAIN !!!

-25C under cobalt blue skies. Good day for a ski, the snowpack has settled some by now to better support my weight. I have to avoid any sudden movements as my stoma is raw and soar from the rash I am dealing with, not pleasant at all. The salami sounds good Chris, Root cannals are no fun in the dentist's office, but well worth it for keeping the original teeth, hope all goes well Catlover.

It rained heavily off and on all night . We received around 40mm . Heavy rain in the north of Qld and wide ranging storms over NSW bringing large rain totals. Sorry to hear about your toothache. They are brutal. I had seven root canals done during my twelve months of chemotherapy. I had another two when I was taking methotrexate. Touch wood the cyclosporine has not caused anymore. My hip and back is still causing me serious pain and I am having to take a great deal of care not to have another fall. Ron.

I just had to change my suet balls too, Carol. They'd gone black also. I have noticed a few more lately. This cold weather is ok if i have birds to watch whilst staying in. We actually had quite a few snow falls yesterday affter the initial flurry. It's cold out there today again. Frost everywhere. I have to go and get meds so am just waiting for it to slightly warm up so i can scrape the ice off the windscreen.

Glad you had some rain Ron. But keep taking it easy. It can take a few months for bruising to clear or joints to mend after a fall. -25~C sound chilly Buff. You take it easy too. Catlover, my elderly cat only knows treats these days. She bullied me by not eating any cat food i put down.

Hope you didn't need to bail out Ron.....0c here, bright sunshine and frost lingering from last night.
Going over to the park soon to break the law by feeding the birds and squirrels.Have taken a few of the notices down all the while expecting someone to shout "Hoy missus, what do you think you're playing at " Bring it on !!!

Oh, Carol, you're so funny. I'm pleased to say the new bird feeders and this cold weather are bringing in the smaller birds. I've got quite a range these last few days. Almost a reason to love cold weather (not really though). I'm envious of Ron's 24C in cloud cover. Would love some of that here. Alas i have all my winter clothes on and i'm still freezing.

Buff, unless the cat needs the garden path to pee, why not leave it for a day or two? Or does that build up into double the hard work? I'd be tempted to do what the crop circlers do. A plank or sledge and rope and tread on it to flatten it down. Sounds back breaking! Try and take it easy. Ron, if you get flooded try and bail out gently, or perhaps ask for help from the owner of the unit.

Take care all.

Hi Everyone
I am sorry to see what has happened with you Buff hope you take it easy, it is very frustrating when you can't do what you used to.
Di sorry about your nephew hope he can get the treatment he needs this virus has a lot to answer for.
Carol hope you & hubby had a good Xmas.
Ron hope you still have your place & no more flooding.
I want to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR hopefully it can only get better for us all. Valx

Hello, there are so many rats in Crystal Palace Park, they've become fat and tame.
It's full of cute baby squirrels, ducks and pigeons. Signs read "Don't feed the birds bread but buy seeds from the park shop" which is closed. There was a takeover bid to turn it into a huge entertainment complex with cinemas, restaurants etc some years ago but green locals fought against it.
It's a breath a fresh air surrounded by traffic jams and housing developments under construction. I wonder if air pollution contributes to Crohn's Disease ?

I left the snow shoveling for today, and now its staring at me. Curly, you are right that I cannot do the things I used to and today I got payback for it. I took a short ride on the snowmobile for a quick visit to the neighbor and all his family were not home. Later I found out the bunch went for a snowmobile ride too far, I'm glad I stayed home. Many were getting stuck, river ice was poor, and then finally one of them broke through the ice at the furthest point from home. They managed to get the machine out of the ice by dark and had to drag it home as it would not run. This is definitely not my idea of going out for a ride to have fun.

It's been a nice day and gently snowing all the while. We had low of -8c and a high of -3c as of now. I'm glad you didn't go way out there with the neighbors, Buff. Take good care bud....Hopefully, with a lot of patience and a little luck this new year will bring better times. I wish every single one of you a very happy and prosperous 2021. Happy New Year my friends!! 🥂🎉

5c and it's been a sunny morning but clouding over now.Forecast says it's to be a colder Jan. than of later years.
Covid cases and deaths are accelerating and are equal to the numbers in April.....haven't we done well NOT !!!
Very best wishes to us all,who knows what's round the corner

Definitely more mild than yesterday. Glad you kept safe, Buff. Let the others check the viability and safety of snowmobiling first. We don't want anything happening to you. They have mentioned another beast from the east again recently. the same atmospheric formations are going on up there that could bring the same circumstances as previously. Not sure we'd make the Canadians jealous though. It will probably just touch 0C and not too much lower.

Happy New Year to everyone here. Sincerely hoping we all have a happier and healthy year ahead. Enjoy 2021.

Happy New Year to fellow IBS, Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis sufferers. We're all posting from different countries which makes me think we all come from the same genetic pool way back, like distant cousins you've never met. I read about this recently.
I picture people as pale, dark haired and bookish as well as prone to childhood ailments and fragility. Musical and pet lovers. You won't find us playing rugby or
boxing.

Same here Carol, its taken a lot of restraint; how many times I would have loved to send someone on a free one way trip sans rocket to the space station with lots of stars.
-8C under cloudy skies. No cold fronts in sight, all that cold air is locked up in Siberia, and funneling down to Japan. I'll let them do the shoveling.

Cyclone Imogen has just been named up in the southern gulf of Carpentaria. It is expected to cross the western side of cape York tonight and cross the cape as a severe rain depression bring flash flooding from Cooktown down to Townsville . Still only showers here at the moment but we are expecting some severe storms by Wednesday. Ron.

Can't believe you have a 'phase' of cloud and rain Ron. The flood doesn't sound good though. Over here our papers like to sensationalise weather and panic over 0C temps and a flurry of snow. We could get a beast from the east soon though apparently. We always have to wait and see.

A very short flurry this morning, turning into rain but has stopped now. It's colder today than yesterday and i already must send off for bird seed again. Suddenly they're scoffing it.

No Di this one is just a tiddler so far as cyclones it is only a cat1 and they don't expect it to regenerate in the Coral sea. On the other hand it is expected to drop up to 300mm a day as it crosses the cape. That is serious rainfall. Ron. The humidity is fierce here at the moment . It will be around 23c overnight with over 70% humidity. Ron.

Hello, it's grey and overcast in London and cold enough for people to stay indoors. Did you know the UK gets mini tornadoes most years ? We also get earthquakes but they are not bad enough to be reported on the news.
I myself was in an earthquake in Southern France when I was much younger and it was just like a disaster movie.

-7C Clear. I went for a long snowmobile ride yesterday, conditions were close to ideal except for the lakes where there is heavy slush. A lot of people were out on the trails and one could hear the steady hum of snowmobiles in the distance all day long. We set up fishing lines and had a fire on the shoreline, no fish, but a fine day to be out and alive.

Hi All
Hope you all had a peaceful New Year yesterday we had quite a heavy downfall of snow the temp is not going above freezing.
Thats sounds like a good time Buff hope you had a tot of rum in your coffee to help keep warm.
I went to hospital on the 29th for an Ecocardiagram told that tier 4 was coming as the hospitals are for warned.
We just have to think positive keep safe Val❄🌏

Cyclone Imogen continues to cross cape York with rainfall of over 200 mm common as it passes. Heavy rainfall in the north of Qld not related to the cyclone. Severe storms and heavy rain in the central south and granite belt. On the other side of the country in WA there are fires burning around Perth and Geraldton resulting in property damage. We have overcast and showers in my area. Ron.

Feeling soooo jealous right now. The only fish I see are fish fingers from the freezer.

Grey and chilly today. There may be a pandemic, an economic crisis, Brexit, but come hell or high water the post lady wears her shorts and beanie hat to deliver the post and the bin men trundle their wheelie bins along the road. Raging toothache overnight so back to the dentist tomorrow.

Chilly, wet with intermittent showers too. Went out and got a few bits as we're about to be totally lockedown again by the looks of things. Thats about 12 inches of rain, Ron. Def flooding levels. I hope the weather is bearable for you too. Buff, glad you finally got out on the snowmobile.

-7C under cloudy skies. Yesterday I did outside chores around the house and went for a walk. Snowmobiling is hard on the aging body, so it was a time out to get the little things done. One thing about the recent long snowmobile ride, is the startling amount of clear cutting that was done to the northeast in the past year alone. They are literally consuming the lands.

Overcast and very humid today. Hardly got any sleep last night with the heat and the humidity as well as my hip and back . Off to the doctor this morning, always interesting. Ron.
Hello, I am a veteran of back and hip pain so I have a few physio and exercise tips you might find useful. First, your mattress should not be too firm. Also, when sleeping on your side, place a pillow between your knees so that your legs are slightly bent and parralel.
Lying on the floor or on a bed, bring your knees up towards your chest and slowly rock from side to side. Do this often during the day, when your lower back pain flares up. Wearing insoles also helps with jarring when walking.

3c with short sleety showers and sunshine..We're back in lockdown for 6wks and only allowed out for doc.apts, pharmacy and food shopping and one hours exercise a day,so we'll see what happens this time.
Les has been for prostate procedure and biopsies, poor lamb. He's sure going through the mill the mill the last couple of years

We had storms and rain overnight. It is expected to get a lot worse over the next few days with severe storms and heavy rain. Ex cyclone Imogen is still dropping masses of rain on north Queensland , around 250mm a day. Most of the rivers from Cooktown to Bowen are dangerously flooded. There have been severe storms and heavy rain in large areas of NSW. Some of these places have been in drought for years. The drought is now over.
There are several life threatening fires burning in West Australia. North and west of Perth has out of control fires as well as Geraldton to the north. They are experiencing very strong winds and temps are forecast t be over 40c for the next few days.
My brother is slowly making his way back to Brisbane and is going straight to hospital when he gets there. He has suffered from ulcerative colitis for 40 years and he is pretty sure the viral gastroenteritis has put him into a flare. The doctors in Rockhampton hospital stopped all of his meds while he was in there and that included sulfasalazine which has kept his colitis in check all of theses years. He will probably need a course of prednisone suppositories which he gets to stops flares . He has not been able to eat for a couple of weeks and his kidney function is starting to drop. It will be a tough road back for him.
My doctor suggested it would take quite a few weeks to get over my last fall that has caused my hip and back pain. I had a fall this time last year and that hurt my back and hip as well. I had six weeks of physio. They reported back to the doctor that the physio was causing more problems than it was solving so they stopped it. My doctor made a comment as I was leaving. He said unfortunately I was a seventy year old in the body of someone twenty years older. Such is life, this month I reach 23years survival post late stage colon cancer. Ron.

I've got the lower back issues too. I get on the floor 5 times a day, knees up, and roll from side to side. It definitely reduces the pain and time for it to correct itself. but lower back issues i have always had. Wonder whether it's something of a weakness among Crohn's sufferers.

Having quite a few snowfall showers. Don't think it will settle as it's wet out there too. snowdrops are coming up now, which is my first sign of life returning after the autumn. Unfortunately it seems badgers don't hibernate. I still have big dig holes all over the garden.

Carol, i siincerely hope that all of you hubby's health issues resolve. I totally understand the crap health for two years. Omg, this is so worth getting over, if only we were allowed out. That's all i seem to be awaiting now. Just want to get back on with my normal routine and be with friends again.

Stay safe all.

Hello, today it's mild and cloudy, perfect for a stroll past the dustbins, recycling bins and strewn litter to a food shop for essentials.
I've been sweating like a pig on a spit roast for two weeks now with chills and feelings of imminent dread. It's probably a new strain of Covid. A good excuse to buy brandy for medicinal purposes. January is depression month with unpaid bills and worries of all sorts floating in my brain. I can't wait for March and Spring.

Still a very hard frost this morning. The pond has fully iced over too today. The mist isn't as bad as it can be, however, visibility isn't that good. I think we're up to 900 dead in one day now, it's just getting worse. Looks like we're in full lockdown to the end of March now. Is it worth it? Omg, how to be sent completely insane!

Stay safe everyone.

Hello, yep it's definitely "Ground Hog Day", we'll be carving ice angels in no time.
Think how evolved and patient we'll be when this pandemic has gone. Like the Dala Lama.
It's God's way of kicking us in the butt. Ouch.
I find myself texting my old mum without grinding my teeth and speaking nicely to my neighbour from hell. Weird...

yep, our stats have gone up entirely. Very depressing. Mind, i wish we could storm our govt buildings and give them a kick up the butt for mishandling all this. We should have been like Australia being able to entirely shut down the island. Our frost hasn't melted yet. A cold day so far.

The cases are surging here as well. We all need to get in line to kick our officials in the butt; While they lock down on some things, they leave others wide open. Why can they not procure the vaccines in the quantities that other country's are receiving, and the doses they do have are locked up in freezers rather than being distributed. Clear -2C very mild for the time of year.

We had rain all night with more expected today. It is still pouring in the north of the state. Fires are still causing dangerous conditions in West Australia with several still out of control. We have a case of the new UK strain of covid in a cleaner at a quarantine hotel. The Qld government has acted immediately and put the entire area of Brisbane and adjacent shires into total lockdown for three days immediately to trace all contacts of the cleaner and start mass testing. Also masks have been made mandatory in the lockdown area. I hope they can nip it in the bud. Ron.

Hello, it's -1°c in London. Barbecues are as popular here as they are in Australia except gardens are much smaller and the smoke has made my flat smell of charcoal. No good for my lungs or my sanity. There is little fire safety common sense in my road with neighbours piling up huge piles of branches on the ground and using gasoline. This has resulted in garden fires getting out of control with burning cinders floating over rooftops. One house burnt down completely one summer. The police are of little help as it is an Environmental Health issue. One told me "it would be a criminal offence if they stick fireworks through the letter box". The summers here in the leafy suburbs can be very stressful.

Awoke to a covering of the white stuff and also falling beautifully. It's virtually all melted now and is just a cold and horrible day. Bit of an unusual run of rain for you Ron. Normally temps are threatening record levels at this time. I'm pleased for you if it suits you. You deserve a break from the heat of Summer there.

No news on the jab and i'm not sure if my allergies will even allow me to have one. But i think now we are pretty much in until April. things are just getting depressingly worse. Just as well i hibernate at this time of year. I would be feeling it if it were a nice spring like last year. I might have been tempted to flout the law out of sheer frustration.

Stay safe all.

1c with short wintry showers. We near the coast seem to be hemmed in with snow but nothing lying here.Have seen a couple of cars with a few inches on the roof so I'll have to make do with that......Not too well today.Pharmacy having trouble getting the meds the IBD nurse requested for me.Thing is I've just received the Bowel Cancer kit we over 50s
get every two years and it will definitely show blood and they will send me for a colonoscopy.I had proceedures just before xmas so am loath to have more. The schreners don't have personal medical records.I'll have to think about it...

Most of northern Australia was two seasons, the wet and the dry. The wet has been missing in action for the past few years but this year it has arrived bigger and better than ever. Rain is still falling in the north and we have had constant light rain for the last two days and nights. It is still raining now. Over in WA the fires are still burning and with the heat and strong westerly winds they are difficult to control.
We are expecting to get the covid jab mid February . Ron.
