What is YOUR weather like today??

Dear Mother Nature, my body temperature fluctuates enough on its own, without you yo-yo-ing the temperature outside. +8c one day and -26c the next is not conducive to trying to acclimate to any particular temperature. Pick one and stay there for a while!!!!

That sounds exactly like our weather in Minnesota. Last week, the temps were -10F (-33c) plus wind chills. This week, the temp is around 32f (0c). Of course it is supposed to go below zero again later in the week, so everything that has melted will freeze. I'd prefer a more steady temperature.

It was in the 70's here yesterday, on January 28th. And we had thunderstorms overnight. Since 5 a.m. the temps have dropped over 20 degrees, by 3 a.m we will be way down in temps and it will be snowing. Only in Missouri!

We too are going in the upper 60's today and tmoro, then back down in the 20's. It's a strage winter for us all this yr.!:ack: !

For the past three days, our temps have been at or above freezing. Now we're in single digits plus wind chills. All the snow that melted is now solid ice. :yfrown:

Wind gusts up to 65mph. here. Hubs said things were blowing down all over the place in town. We got some rain too but calmed down now. Still warm.

It is cold here. Only 1F. High is supposed to only be 4 degrees. I like winter, but I'd prefer it just a bit milder.

Wind gusts got up to 111 km/hr (68mph) here today, had a roof blow off downtown and a pedway closed for part of the afternoon due to concerns that the glass windows in the pedway would buckle

well, the sun is almost back and the wind has calmed down again. still feeling the cold. erm... not the type of cold you have in other countries!!! stay safe all.

It was -12 this morning when I went to work. Now it is 1 degree and snowing outside. I love winter in Minnesota!

Furious, did you honestly pass a medical for lorry driver? well done, now all you got to do is pass the test! Good luck with the ice trucker stuff, lol.

no snow! snowdrops, crocus and other plants coming up, have some daffs out here in cornwall. Tis colder mind!

Sorry spooky, I never saw your post!

Yes I passed the medical no problem, I think the only things that can prevent you are things like heart defects, epilepsy or major disabilities. They didn't ask me about my crohns when I told them I had it.

Anyway, my test was cancelled due to the weather :( and moved to 22nd of February.. A month after i had my training!

Although the weather is lovely today, nice and sunny.. But I'm going snowboarding later indoor haha, so more snow for me!

Temps here are back to the low 30,s cel. We have not had rain for a week but the flood peak has only just arrived in Rockhampton tonight. The Fitzroy river has a huge cachment and it takes forever for the water to get to the coast. One lady called the police up there today to report a four meter croc swimming in the lane behind her house. It is about the southern most river system in Qld with a healthy resident population of crocs. Enough to put you off wading thru flood waters.. Ron.

Well, it is another cold day today. I'm taking my son skiing in a little while. I hope we can stay warm!

Have funLinda!!! It's snowing here and to cont. thru tmoro and to get 5 inches and then more snow Mon.-Tues.-Wed.-As far as they can see!!!!:ywow:

Snowed till I went to bed, now the sun is out. But they are calling for up to 5 more inches starting at 3pm today! Tired of winter!!!!:boring:But then again, I hate the heat! I think I'd rather have snow!:ysmile:

i'm nearly through that too. No hot sweats though, bones gone to pot instead, lol. must say i can at times withstand the cold better than i used to. although i suppose it could be low grade fever. tis gonna be very windy tonight and tomorrow with rain and snow. end of sun peeking through me thinks. bring on the winter gales.

I disagree. I am still in the change of life stage!

Me, too. But I wouldn't mind temps in the 20s, instead of below zero.

We've been getting nuisance snow for the past 3 days. An inch or two each day, so they don't plow the roads, and now they are treacherous. I'd much rather get it all at once and get it over with.

The Sun was out but it was still cold and windy, apprently were expecting a storm from Canada this month, its meant to be our coldest Feb since 1986.

The cold is back, it's going down to -15C (5F) tonight. -25C (-15F) with the windchill

30degrees F and no snow till 5pm they say. Enuf time to go visit my grandson and then be back before the roads get mucked up!

Well, we got another 2 inches last night. So the roads are even more messed up. But it is much warmer, with a high around 25F or so.

Finally, a day without nuisance snow! And, they decided to plow the streets today. It should be pretty warm, high around 28F. However, tomorrow it's back to another inch or so of snow.

Lovely morning, even opened kitchen window while cooking lunch. No wind, which makes a difference.Snow forcast for the next few days though.

It is the "calm before the storm" here. Supposed to get about 6-8 inches starting Sunday afternoon.

Still snowing, the wind slacked off a bit to 32 mph. Snowplow just went down the street, the neat thing is the wind kept the driveway clear except for a drift by the garage door and the plow bank at the end of the road.

The repair crew that was here fixing the phone line and the crew repairing a 24" watermain that broke in the City today are really earning their keep in this weather.

It is ironic, one of the most popular ski resorts in Victoria is under threat from a bushfire. May be a few less trees to run into next winter...Ron.

Sunny and -9C (16F). A nice day for clearing the driveway. Still under a boil water order after the watermain break though

grey out. no rain, no wind. not too cold. More flowers popping up. Loads of daffs, snowdrops and crocus in Cornwall.

Stay safe if your weather isn't as mild as this.

I looked outside now and it looks sunny on top of our snow banks. I saw my favorite neighborhood cat arch his back at another neighborhood cat to defend his suburban jungle.
