Right now the ground and sky are all the same colour.. white/gray. Even the trees. We have been getting a lot of wet snow the past couple days and the tree braches are heavy with snow. Temp just at freezing level.

That sounds so pretty!

2C (36F) here now. It was cloudy most of the day. Snow onernight last night that transitioned to rain made the drive to work a bit of an icy mess.

now cold, clammy, overcast, but a smattering of snow this evening will clean out the air, here, there, and everywhere.

We had another inch or so of snow overnight. I love the way fresh snow looks on the trees, and it makes everything so clean and white. I am sick of driving in it, though.

anyone would have though it was May already. beats all the days we had last summer! bikini on and making the most of natural vit D

Lovely here too.Have got my bikini on as well, but playing safe and also wearing fleece jacket, jeans and a woolly hat.

It is raining and the high is going to 44. And 25f tonight with a chance of snow flurries. If you know anything about Georgia that is not good. These people can not drive when it rains lord help us if we get a little snow. ;)

Cloudy here with some fresh snow. 6"-8" of new snow forecast for this afternoon and another 2-4" in the forecast for tonight

It's been a beautiful day here, been on the Moors for a hike.Got up to 10 degs C.Still some snow on the Tops, but just admired it from a distance.

I have another low forming in close proximity. It has been bucketing down for a day and a half already. We are expecting up to ten inches of rain. Think I will be doing a few trips home from work to see if I am flooding. Life goes on. Ron.

Another day and night of heavy rain. I have had water coming up thru the floor and walls of the unit for three days and nights . Not getting a lot of sleep but keeping up with the inflow. Looks like it is easing off this morning just the gale force winds hanging on. Life never gets boring...Ron.

I swear I have PTSD from similar weather last year, but that was even with no precipitation. winds that took down 100 year old trees easily though. Can't imagine what you are going through. I promise, it will get better. Hang in there.

whether is near freezing here, no precipitation until 50% chance tomorrow at this time.

Just shy of 10 inches of snow and high winds yesterday. The storm was over by 7 this morning and it turmed into a sunny day.

Lovely crisp sunny day. I played football yesterday for the first time in months as a result of the weather, I currently can't move my legs for the stiffness!

Brilliant sunshine for 6 days now, really freaky weather for Britain lol. I'm loving it mind. going to be back to grey tomorrow, and much colder. oh no, thats our summer over!!!

Well that low gave us a hard time now it's down in Dusty country giving them a hard time. Up here in Qld we have 30c + and very high humidity. The next rain EVENT is nearly upon us, They are predicting another 300mm in the next few days. I didn't think I was going to have to worry about it. Was doing a bit of work cleaning out the ute. I think I overdid it. Drenched in sweat, got the dry heaves and chest pains. I thought this is it but I couldn't get that lucky. I had an echo cardiograph last week . the results were not too flash but nothing major ,doc wants a stress test now. I might tell him I just had one and failed it... Ron.

My niece said we had a short flurry of snow here in Bude. Bit unusual, but i had looked at clouds and thought 'snow'. i blinked and missed it lol. will keep my eyes open for this today.

stay safe all!

sunshine, flurries and 3 degs celcius.I keep going to the wardrobe and looking at my summer stuff,O deep joy !!!! That's not to say I won't be whining when it gets too warm. (that should have been "if" not "when")

Well it is here. Pouring rain. The last system is giving southern new south wales a hard time. Some houses destroyed . We are looking at torrential rain here for the next two days, more floods I guess. The ground is so sodden from the two earlier dumps. Western Australia just named a new cyclone . It is expected to grow in intensity before crossing the coast later in the week.In Victoria they are still fighting bushfires.Go figure...Ron.

What is going on there? Does anyone over there know how to pray? Hope they start!!;)

Don't know what it like here,it's not 4am yet and dark.I can here a blackbird singing,so that's promising.Last nights forcast says a pretty quiet week ahead, over here.Wish it was the same for all of you.

SUN is out, unusual! 40 today is the high and this is the best day this week. Snow forecast here for 4-5 days starting WED. Goody!:ywow:

Wind is whipping the tall tree right next to my humble little abode:ywow:I always say a prayer on days like these that no large limbs fall onto our house. It is twice the height of this house. Our upstairs is actually the attic. So as I sit here typing, my computer screen is actually shaking form the wind. Gusts must be around 50. They are calling for freezing rain east of Pittsburgh where I am. Hubs, says we won't get it, but when is HE ever right??? LOL:wink::dance:

DARN it, he was right! It is still windy as heck but the rain is just rain!!! LOL!;)

Meanwhile back at the ranch, another three inches fell overnight. Highway no1 is cut off to the north at Gympie, their CBD is under water for the fourth time in six months. Meanwhile back on the west coast cyclone Rusty(who thinks up these names) has turned into a monster. They have called for the evacuation of port headland. This area has some of the largest tides on earth and they think that the storm surge on top of tides will just about cover the town. Ron

windy and rain changing to snow later. To get snow throughout the night and tomorrow. I hope it doen't get bad because I have colonscopy tmoro!:ytongue:

Fortunately cyclone Rusty did a normal cyclone thing and took a deviation missing portheadland at the last minute and crossed unpopulated coast causing massive flooding. Back here they forecast a fine sunny day. What really happened was we got another half inch of rain overnight and it has dawned raining. There is another weather event forecast for friday...Ron who is going mouldy..

I'm glad you are safe, but stay dry. I wish I could send some of our sunshine from today.

March tomorrow, yippeeeee!!!!!! i feel better already.

well i wasn't going to walk that far, so i floated up to those grey clouds, cos i don't weigh so much its easy to float to the low ones at least, then i blew with all my might and am up on one but can't see you for the clouds ..... could you play the bagpipes or something to let me know where you are!!

If it's OK with you I'll just whistle.Be careful though or you could miss your landing and fall in the river or get yourself wrapped around the lighthouse.I better put the kettle on,in case you're a bit damp when you get here.

Damp??? i've got a bad case of wind up here, my brain has fogged up, i've got a cold front to contend with, my vision is occluded and i feel there snow hope. keep that kettle whistling and i shall land in with great gust o! hail the british weather.

I just looked at the weather radar. There is a huge mass of rain heading towards us from the west. That really does not happen on the east coast. Someone is using magic. The forecasters described yesterday as relatively dry,,,,,we only had an inch of rain. Not working today, having a heart scan instead, when I get out of hospital it will be raining again. Strange times we live in,xxxx Ron.

wow. we live in a very dry area. the average precipitation here is only 16 inches per year. yesterday plus fifteen other days, and you should be done for the year.:ytongue:
