Yesterday was another gloomy, cool rainy day. Today it is very overcast, but today it is supposed to warm up a bit. I hope it doesn't rain this afternoon for my son's soccer game. Practice yesterday was cancelled due to the flooding on the field.

It was so nice yesterday for the game, and my son's team won 5-2. He had one assist. He's on a 9 and 10 year old boys team, and he's by far the shortest one on the team, yet he's the 3rd fastest runner.

I don't like heat, but humidity and heat is what really kills me. I could never live in most of Arizona (hi neighbor!), lthough I have a brother and sister and their many adult children who do. It is unusual for us to have 100° heat here this early, but we did have a nice long spring too. The weather is just doing weird things everywhere.

Friday we had massive thunderstorms with 70MPH wind gusts. We have power again, but no internet yet. It is amazing how much we've come to depend on it!
