Horrible day again, cold with squally showers.Forcast says nice weekend, then change for the worse on Monday.........Well,it is a bank holiday !!!

Blue sky, lots of sun but cool where we live near the East coast.I'n not complaining though, everything is so green and fresh and new.

I was talking to my mum who lives 20 Kilometres away, she had the most amazing hail storm, I could hear it on the roof as we talked. We didn't get any hail or rain, how bazaar

Disappointing but dry.We had a walk along the coast and there were LOTS of visitors as there usually are in "SUMMER ?" You could tell they were visitors because they were wearing summer clothes and their arms and legs were BLUE !!!!! hahaha

Not bad we had a little rain and then breezy and warm 78 I think. Tomorrow the heatwave begins. 90 possible and all week long. I hate hot weather. Wish I could send it over to those who want it!:yfaint:

Snow on the Rimutaka's, Orongaronga's a bit chilly today. On Monday a 5th floor window blew out on the street I work on.

I kid you not !!!!!...........Pouring rain early on,grey,v.cold and misty now.

To copy spooky's way of 'splaining, the sun is out, but I feel like a tornado today, twisted and blown all over at something else's control.

Sunny again! This has happened a few times this year. perhaps we're not in winter anymore. Where did spring pop off to? Enjoying it. just wish I could get out.

Well I'm very happy for you Diane,I know you suffer badly with the cold.Just after I posted Alfie came in WET !!! so I've just got the washing off the line.

It was supposed to storm and now it's night here and no rain. They say possible severe storms still and thru tmro. They don't know!!!:ymad:

Bloody awful is the only two words I can find to describe it!

Finally succumbed yesterday to picking up what is almost the last of the Autumn leaves. Then I awaken this morning to the rain lashing the window and the wind howling around the service wire and my worst nightmare come true! We now have the last of the Autumn leaves on the lawn!
grr.gif

Hmph, you would have thought I would get one leaf free lawn day!

Dusty - nothing worse than raking leaves when they are wet. At out old house we had so many leaves that in the fall we would put out 6 large bags of leaves each week for compost pick up over a 2-3 week period.

Shorts weather here today iit was 24C inland away from the Bay and fog. Managed to get some perennials planted most of the lawn cut and limed.

Raining constantly luckily I work in a rest home was toasty warm.we had a drought this summer, our annual rain fall is round 4 meters to 6 meters,we are currently in third day of winter,it can get to -12 degrees celsius where I live and 39 Celsius in summer,Not as hot as you Aussies tho lol.

It didn't rain except maybe last night when I was asleep. The weeds sure are growing though! 79 degrees today and cloudy and a few peeks of sun. Not really bad at all.

Nice weather here. Dusty, its easier, and good for the lawn, if you just mulch the leaves. I did that last fall and ths year or lawn is looking better than it ever has.

Has been an amazing weekend, so warm and sunny. Looks like it's going to be beautiful today too. Finally some sun!!! :D

Lovely today........unfortunately I have to wait in for the annual boiler safety check.Anytime between 8am & 5pm,I HATE that. Was out with Alfie at 6-30am and it was great.Best time of the day.

Early very cloudy and looked like rain. Muggy but, not hot. 73 today. That's a temp I can live with. Too bad there's nowhere to go and no money to get there!:lol2:

Bright and sunny and warm but mist rolling in off the sea making it cooler on the coast.Of course that's where people who don't live at the coast want to be when it's sunny, and they don't know about the mist 'til they get here.......It's a shame really, after the long crap winter/spring we've had.

Frost and Fog and Brrrrrrrr...they say a picture paints a thousand words:

Dusty how cold does it get where you are?
Here it gets cold but not freezing....no frost where i am.

Wind is whipping everything around like a huge storm system is coming. 2 inches of rain tmro, much needed but unwanted anyway! Today was fine. 81 where I was at my sis's house.

We've had non-stop rain and gloom since the snow stopped at the beginning of May. Yesterday my son asked if we're getting summer this year. I sure hope so. Today it is only supposed to get up to about 55F. Average high for today here is 78F.

Lovely day, comfortable 18 celcius.Had a run into the country and a visit to an 11 century church which you can enter free, and down the path are the ruins of an 11th century manor house. We were the only ones there and sat in the sunshine watching the cows and their new calves in the next field.

Linda, isn't the worlds weather changing? I know it is, its been sunny for quite a few days now.

It feels like it. We got 18 inches of snow on May 2! Now it is June and still too cold to plant our garden. We're probably not getting any vegetables this year!

The flooding in Europe is terrible, but at least its not us this year!!! I saw on you tube that many of the states have badly flooded regions too. Oh, and as for those tornadoes, well, i'm certainly thinking of you.

2 inches of rain we needed today and windy!!! Dreamed a huge red wave was coming towards my porch where I grew up and I turned to my sister and said," it is the end of the world!" Then Woke up. Maybe we are closer than you think!:ghug:

Oh we're being spoilt !!! Another lovely day and I'm getting to wear my pretty summer tops at last.Have also put the 4tog summer duvet on the bed.

There's this big yellow shiny thing in the sky. I'm not entirely too sure what it is, but I have a vague memory of seeing it before.
