Jane,

Great tune!

I'm all about the Bass! Now I'm going deaf at 38 from having a passion for loud music. Oh well, the hearing aids are becoming more sophisticated every day! LOL

"Dakota" by Stereophonics has been buzzing around in my head for days now. Actually glad to rediscover it as it boosts my mood :D

Stumbled upon this beautiful piece about a week ago. Bethena: A Concert Waltz by S. Joplin. Not a huge fan of ragtime, but this piece just resonated with me the first time I heard it. It has this feeling of someone finding the strength to persevere on despite the cruel cards that life has dealt out to him/her. Reminiscing, yet looking forward. Strange mix of emotions, but beautifully composed.

Cmack and ronroush I'm sorry you got insulted like that. It's the active members like you that keep this place going. If nobody responded to posts, no one would come here anymore. A big thank you to all the active caring members who come here for free and try to help. :ghug:

CMACK and Ron both great posters and they provide great support and advice ,

if a person does not agree with a post or advise thats ok but its never ok to attack the poster .

Thanks! I just thought it was rather unique that you could add drums to a piece for strings. The guy's a genius to have come up with such an idea. Totally changes the way I view string instruments :O

And here's some true blue classical music played by one of the best string quartets where I live. Pachelbel's Canon in D: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu5TlSXEzzs. Enjoy! :D

really love Canon in D , nicely played as well CYY

If you like classical and opera have a listen to this ,

Oh, that wasn't played by me haha XD

It's by a really good string quartet that's based in Singapore. I do wish I could play like that, though I really pity the cellist (played the same 8 notes over and over for 7 minutes).

The Japanese lyrics at the beginning of the song are as follows:

どうもありがとうミスターロボット (dōmo arigatō misutā Robotto)
また会う日まで (mata au hi made)
どうもありがとうミスターロボット (dōmo arigatō misutā Robotto)
秘密を知りたい (himitsu wo shiritai)

The lyrics translate into English as follows:

Thank you very much, Mr. Robot
Until the day (we) meet again
Thank you very much, Mr. Robot
I want to know your secret
