This one is a favorite of mine...The Feast and The Famine - Foo Fighters

I have to admit, even though he was the drummer for Nirvana, I never did listen much to the Foo Fighters! I never listened much to Nirvana either!

I have gotten a kick out of the songs Nirvana wrote about stomach problems though. There were friends that would play Nirvana, I'd be listening to the lyrics, and I'd pick up through the singers screaming about stomach issues. made sense, I can relate I'd joke.

I won't name names, not that it would matter, he's a hippy, but a famous Canadian singer used to skinny dip near my parents home. For awhile it was the gossip in the neighborhood.

I remember the lead singer and song writer of Nirvana had some kind of severe stomach condition. If I remember correctly in his second album he sang more about stomach issues.

The other famous grunge band, Pearl Jam, their guitarist and song writer has Crohn's disease I remember reading.

Grunge music, born of stomach/ IBD conditions! I'm full of unhelpful information this morning. :ytongue:

Not to be unfriendly, so thought to say hi from your neighboring city to the north. I'm currently on Sanibel. Hope the weather in Naples is just as nice.

I didn't know you lived so close. We have to get together. How's sanibel today. It's hot here in bonita/naples. Where do u usually live? I'm so excited someone close!!!!💜Julie

Agree, it is quite warm today on Sanibel! Hardly a bicycle rider to be seen anywhere. I'm glad rain is in the forecast finally though. It has been to dry, and with that all the brush fires in the area. For the afternoon, I have been working on preparing the house for leaving up north for the summer. We drive back and forth between Sanibel/Fort Myers and Illinois. The yearly migration begins soon. You are kind with the invite. That sounds good and we will have to plan on that in the future on hopefully cooler days. The summer Florida heat typically doesn't bother me much, but have to admit it has me worn down this afternoon.

oh my I am from Chicago area! Funny. Yes when you are back for the winter let me know and we will have tea or coffee or whatever just hang out. Enjoy your ride back.

I have some Scottish ancestry. There are a few Scotts in the family tree that I'm familiar with. There is only one though that I found a historical written account on. He was reportedly a good friend of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.

In keeping with a Scottish theme, a Scottish band - and it is raining hard at the moment too. It's needed here and lovely!

That's probably not the song for the movie, I don't remember! but I remember that film. My sister took me and her boys to see it. Those animated movies can be quite humorous.

Long lost 80s power pop band The Producers "She Sheila". These guys wrote catchy songs and should had made it big, then their label dropped them in 1982. Only their 1st two albums were ever issued on one CD in 2000 and it is hard to find now.

Hi Juulez, I'm still here. Just returned from a walk on the beach with the folks. Shelling was great after the stormy weather. They pull out bright and early in the morning for their northern home. I'll be heading north soon after some home stormy weather projects are finished it appears. Hoping no hurricanes twirl this way but best to be prepared.

Thanks cmack. The issue I'm still getting used to here has to do with time of arrival for repair workers. As an example, in the north I've had times were a repairman was early by 5 minutes and then apologize for not arriving earlier.

Here in the south it is different. It's not uncommon for repairworkers to arrive 3 hours late and act as if on time. And apparently engine mechanics time of arrival provided is only a weekly guidance.:ybatty:
