I suffered with IBS for years , switched to a new GI and was diagnosed with Crohn's in the small intestines , after several combos I am taking Pentesa and VSL probiotic , twice I have been on Endacort , after the Endacort my symptoms worsen but my GI doesn't want me to stay on it long term , I also have proitis that makes my life miserable , any suggestions ??

The doctor might have some other medicine he/she wants you on along with the medicines you are already on. Let us know how you are.

Hi Rachel
Sorry you are having a bad time
Does your doctor know of the proctitis?
There is a very helpful steroid rectal foam that you might find gives a soothing relief,it helped me a lot.
Your GI would have to give you a prescription for it
It would be a good idea anyway to get in touch with him/her about your continued problems
In the longer term he may give you a biological like Remicade or Humira...
Feel better soon
Hugs and best wishes
Trysha

I would say you could talk to your doctor about other medications; I know a lot of people get results with medications like Humira or Cimzia. These didn't work for me, but it's worth the conversation.
