I had like random abdominal pains every now and then, and then gradually they had been getting worse and worse >.< And i always eat a hell of a lot, yet put on no weight at all.. I guess i'd been having weird pains for about a year or 2.

atm im on 40mg of prednisone per day, some vitamin/calcium tablets i think its 1mg per day, and pentasa which i haven't started yet but apparently i should have.. im still getting used to it all ^^ Only got diagnosed last week lol

sooo many tablets.. they better help :p

It is so overwhelming when u are just diagnosed as the amount of tablets is so vast. u will get used to taking the tablets and the amount will just become normal, i hope they start working soon.xxx

Good luck..x..x

Yeah, I think it's really good, because at first I thought I wanted sympathy, and I got a fair amount but it didn't really make be feel any happier, but it's so much better to talk to people who are going through the same thing as you. The only pills I had was omeprazole in March because the rest of my medication has been a liquid diet, I would recommend it as a good alternative to steroids because it has no side effects, only issue is it takes ages to stop the D.

I've been diagnosed for a decade now, and I'm sixteen, so I've pretty much had Crohn's my whole life. Don't worry, it gets easier. I'm on prednisone at the moment and look like someone took a halo pump to my face. I hate it, but basically have learned to accept it. You should talk to those friends who you think you have lost. I did not tell anyone about Crohn's for a really long time, and when I told my best friend she basically thought I was lying and trying to get out of doing stuff with her. We stopped hanging out for months, until I just told her the full story. I could tell she felt horrible about not believing me and I think we are now even closer friends than before.

Hang in there, it gets easier.
