I have been on a 50,000 IU vitamin D supplement for weeks and a daily 2,000 IU vitamin D for months. In that time my levels keep going down instead of up. My latest results show a massive drop.

I am so frustrated that I am very low after trying so hard to up my levels. Obviously I'm not absorbing it or my ostomy diversion is interfering with an area that absorbs it. Is there an injection or IV vitamin D? Not sure what to do next.

My levels stay low as well I'm on 5,000 iu daily liquid tabs I haven't had my checked in a while though and I'm not sure about a injection maybe something similar to the b12 injections? Let me know what u find out please

I will ask my doctor because obviously this pill popping isn't working. Maybe I can get an infusion during my next Remicade or iron one if such a thing exists.

Yes, vitamin D injections are a thing, but not as common as pills. Worth asking about, though it looks like from what I was just reading (quick google) there is concern about too much vitamin d and not a lot of agreement on dosing.

I'm not sure what kind of doctor would administer those injections it if I can do them on my own. I think my doctor mentioned an endocrinologist if i continue to fail the therapy. I doubt they would be concerned with overload because I'm so low I can increases by boatloads at this point.
