I am 30 years old male born with Hurshsprungs. Ive had many surgeries in my life starting as a baby. Im 30 wearing a depends to bed. Always afraid of pooping the bed and having to wake up my husband. Im always washing sheets doctors cant find anything that i can afford to help. I get out of the car i poop i lift i poop at times walking or any strenuous exercise im 30 just married and afraid to travel because of pooping the bed. Im told i should laugh about it that we can washe the sheets or replace them well the mattress is what i am worried about as well as my sex life. Im so over this any advice?
 
Hello Sadface and welcome to the forum! :) I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through.

I had to look up Hirschsprung's disease because I've never heard of it before. According to Mayo Clinic the only treatment is surgery. What were the doctors suggesting that you can't afford (if it's medications, some companies have options for people who can't afford treatment)? Or were they suggesting a stoma?
