Tony, Alfie is indeed handsome. Carol, I always love a good party! I'll bring some food...

Camping just not for you any more? If so I understand as we got back the day before yesterday and still haven't unpacked for lack of energy. (Need to get going.) Had a good time tho. Doug caught a couple bass and I caught a good time on the water one day, and a good rest the other day with Bentley. I don't know why some can see his pictures when others can't. I'll see if I can figure out Google photos as Tony does for next photos (I'm just afraid of accidentally sharing all photos with public.) Bentley is a much better traveler than Casper and did pretty well also.

Happy Sunday, Monday all!

Sandy the photo sharing on google is very easy and as far as i know inly the linked photos can be seen , peoplewould get a shock if they saw some of my other stuff ie. stoma pic , worn bags with output you know the type 🤮🤮🤮[emoji90][emoji90][emoji90]

Oh well Tony ...if they go snopping tough s**t (pun intended) 😃😃
Speaking of which iv got to sup the lovely bowl prep in an hour or so for the mri scan. Omg i cant stand the stuff!!!!! As for a litre in 45 mins not happening .. i so struggle to drink that much. Dont think i drink a litre of fluids in a day never mind 45 mins. Oh well chin up Mandy n down the hatch as they say. ☹

I think whoever prescribes these preps should be made to take them themselves
theres a new prep thats a lot easier called picolax (i think) and you only have to take one small glass then you takes a few litres of clear fluids and you are sorted i have a scope in a few weeks and thats what ill be taking

Sending happy thoughts Mandz...Go on,you can do it.Hope your results are ok.
Have you been having probs,is that why your having an MRI ?

Thanks for the best wishes guys ☺
Well it wasnt to bad actually the very nice man said, as i was so small...nice way of putting bloody skinny 😃 i dint have to drink it all so only had to drink just over half a litre n it tasted ok really, dont know which prep it was,but much more bearable then the others iv had.
Anyhow just have to wait for results to comeback 10/14 days he said. No Carol no major problems just routine check for me. My gi likes to keep a good eye on me. ☺

Love n hugs to all. :ghug:

Trev.I'm really happy for you my friend. It must be a huge relief for you and your loved ones.Nice to see you.Have you heard anything from Kirsty BTW ?
Sandy.Glad you had a good time and that Bentley is settling in well. It's a battle when they don't travel well and spoils a good trip somewhat.Alfie was a brilliant traveller.Sometimes we had to check the back of the car in case we had left him somewhere. One of our GSDs used to "Sing" all the way to Scotland and it wasn't the Bonnie

Kirsty and i used to have coffee when she was up my way, but havent heard from her in ages

So much I want to say to many of you here, but this is a "hit and run" post as I've got an appointment with a friend who lives an hour away and must be off. Hugs and waving as I go.
:bigwave: :eek:utahere:

Hi guys, i have heard from Kirsty, she is ok just having health issues like the rest of us.

I'm heartbroken. We had to put Lily down today. She didn't want to eat yesterday, and was in a lot of pain today. She woke me up at 4 AM needing to go potty, but then she couldn't poo nor vomit even though she tried both. Then when she could poo, it was very bloody. I didn't want her to suffer, so we took her to the emergency vet and put her down. I'm so, so sad. That was such a difficult thing to do even though I know it was the right thing to do. I miss her so much already.

Ah,Cat.I'm really sad for you.

Don't try to be brave, it's been a worrying few months for you and you did all you could for her. She's OK now and you need to be kind to yourself.

Big hugs, Cat. I'm really sorry to hear that happened. Be kind to yourself though, Lily had the best owner possible, therefore she had a great life. I think you deserve a medal for all the help you gave that girl. May she be at peace.

Aw Cat my darling. Im so sorry that Lily has gone over the rainbow bridge 😢😢. As others have said be kind to yourself as you have gone to great measures to ensure she had a great n happy life with you. Be safe in the knowledge she will be at peace and ail no more. Also that she loved you as much as you loved her. Lord bless Lily with as happy a rainbow life as she had with Cat . Your in our thoughts and prayers Cat hunnie. 🙏🐾🐾💕 💞

Run Free Lily All your pain is gone , Joey is waiting on the Bridge for you ,
Cat my heart is breaking for you ,no words of mine can help , all I can say is that the pain will ease but the love and memories you shared with Lily will only get stronger ,
a nice quote I saw
EVERYONE THINKS THEY HAVE THE BEST DOG
AND NONE OF THEM ARE WRONG

most of all Cat what you did today was the most loving thing you can ever do for someone you love , you helped her pass with dignity and love ,
hugs
Tony

It makes me happy to know that Lily had so much steak to eat. She was so loved. My heart aches for you Cat.

Tony, thank you. I have been thinking of you and your Joey as well because I know you were feeling similar pain and grief when you lost him. Please hug your new pup for me.

Jenn, we still have some steak in the fridge that we were intending to give to Lily. That makes me super sad as well. I had also just ordered some more of her favorite soft kibble on amazon - that arrived a few hours after we put her down. At least that I was able to donate to the humane society, along with some blankets that I made for shelter animals. I made sure the shelter knew that this donation was in Lily's name and honor. As for the steak, I guess hubby will eat it because I don't do beef.

The hardest thing about having a pet is that we outlive their shorter lifespans and have to deal with the grief. After having outlived several great cats its still very difficult when one of them passes on, it never gets easier.
In fact its harder as one gets older as one becomes more attached to a pet as one's world tends to get smaller deeper into retirement as time goes on, as both friends and family members also pass on.

What a lovely gesture Cat . Im sure the shelter are very glad of the gifts. Lily will pleased also that the gifts were given from her. 🐾🐾

Hugs to you Cat 💕💞

Hope everyone is doing ok. Love to all 💝

pup hugged , its a lovely morning here in Ireland sun shining and listening to Alison Krauss and Union Station with a puppy at my feet , life is good for me at the moment so good that im going to my first stadium gig in 30 years tomorrow night Ed Sheeran , wishing everyone gets a little boost from the nice warm weather,
Cat hugs to you and family

Enjoy the gig Tony, but please remember that pogo dancing is a no,no nowadays.Especially to Ed Sheeran's tunes.

Friends from college coming into town. We are going out to eat with them. :), Hope everyone is well.

My acupuncturist asked me yesterday if my Crohns disease ever got me up at night. I said no but then it got me up at 5:40 last night. :)

I'm so sorry to hear about Lily Cat. She is in a better place now but I can't imagine your heartbreak. 💕

20c at 11am. but warming up as the day goes on.Lots of traffic on the road to the coast and lots of neighbours out painting and gardening etc.....we're going for a peddle before it gets to busy.Tomorrow is going to be warmer still so will stay indoors with a good book. Oooops wrong thread.

Time to come up for Air and get going again...
Hard to believe we were freezing with snow and ice a couple of weeks ago and now heading into a heatwave in time for The Wedding🎩 👰 of the year....
What’s everyone wearing on that day...?.
Thank you all for the many good wishes you sent.....it is always so helpful.
Anyone know a quick way to revive an 🌺 Azalea......
It is hard to keep beautiful flowering plants in an apartment setting...I think they would rather be in the garden which I no longer have.
Now to go out and enjoy this lovely weather....after sorting out my wedding clothes...even though the invite has not yet arrived......

It's OK Trysha,I'll pick you up in the private jet but you'll have to parachute out over Windsor.Let me know the colour of your outfit and I'll make sure your 'chute doesn't clash.
I'm not coming but I'll watch for you on the TV.(Our son and grandsons will be here).......
I had a fall on the way to a docs apt.today, which was handy.Bumped my chin, lip, knees but the worst was my arthritic finger and knuckle. So no potato peeling for me for a few days.A kind couple made sure I was OK but considering I fell at their feet they would have fallen over me if they hadn't.You have to laugh eh.?

Hey Carol hope you get over your tumble quickly
its always our more vulnerable parts that seem to be magnets when we have mishaps , at least you have the sunshine to help you heal faster .

So sorry Cat. That is really tough.

Nice to see you Trysha☺..
Carol hope you are not to sore hen. Iv told you before though your supposed to pull your tights up to the waist not leave them round your ankles;) :)

Hi all take care n sending love n hugs to you all :ghug:💕💞

Is it Shanons birthday, am i a day early because of time zones, or did crohns forum lie to me

Carol....my outfit will be Royal Blue...what else...
Not sure I can manage a parachute just yet.....especially the landing with my Gammy leg...
not to mention the queasy stomach....I am unable to fly through the air with the greatest of ease or should I say quease.....?
Just send the giant Lunar Moth .........
Really sorry to hear of your mishap but if it had to happen it was the right time with your
Docs appointment....hope all the bruises go away soon ..hope you have some arnica. handy......
Winning....

Any body fancying a lip enhancement, save your money.Just throw yourself on the pavement instead.

Trysha,it looks to me like I'll have to pick you up on Little Blackie for the Royal Wedding.I'll put the basket back on the front for you,but I draw the line at painting my little pedal pal Red White and Blue.I might manage some bunting on the handle bars though...

That sounds like a better plan Carol...don’t worry about the red white and blue....those are my parachute colours so we are royally well covered.
I will also bring my own teapot...very special that I brought with me from my last visit to England.
Had such sad news today from UK....my youngest brother died suddenly this morning 5.30am ..stroke complications.
Don’t know if I can get there yet .....never know what can happen...even though I’m doing quite well at the moment but too many docs appointments.
Enjoying the current heat wave right now....good to see the sunshine, and getting to go out in it.....it’s been a long cold winter..
Cheers Everybody and stay well

That's very sad news Trysha. It's an awful predicament for you ,being sick and so far away too.Sending hugs.

Yes Trev, Tuesday was my birthday. Thank you for the birthday wishes. I’m sorry for the delayed response, life has been busy lately with my grandson, work and dealing with other people’s wants so I haven’t had much chance to check in and catch up. Hope everyone is doing well and has a great day!

Aw Trysha im so very sorry for your loss. Being so far away must be awful for you in these times. I hope you can get here. Sending big hugs and much love 💕💝

Hi all hope you are all doing well. 💞:)

Having a crap day so far, excuse the pun.Five hours of visiting the bathroom and I really need to go to the supermarket and pick up scripts at the docs. But there's plenty of time to pull myself together.I've got a lovely scab on my top lip and a big graze on my chin after my adventure. The rest of me is just aching knees and muscles.I hope the scabs clear up before our family arrive on Wednesday. They'll be taking lots of pics.

Hope you're all OK....Buff.I dreamt I was a log last night and woke up in the fireplace.

scottsma:

Sorry to hear about your day. 🙁

I am glad to hear you have no broken bones. 🙂

I think about you guys every day. You have such positive attitudes and outlooks on life and a great sense of humor too.😄

Take Care. 🐥
Off to see my GI now.

Hope all goes well with your appointment Lynda ☺.

Hi all . Ya all come back soon ya hear.. who knows from which programme that last line is from.? 😃💕💝

Now listen to my story 'bout a man named Jed
A poor mountain man, barely kept his family fed
And then one day while rootin' (?) for some food
Out from the groung came a bubblin' crude.
Oil that is,Texas tea......

Lynda I hope your appointment went well....I'm feeling ok today.

Spot on folks....twas the beverly hillbillies... well done carol on remebering the lines. I often sing the tune. Is that a bad thing a good thing or have i finally lost the plot totaly😃

I can't pretend to be a big celebrity but still I'm quite important in my way.The job I have to do,may not sound much to you,but all the same I'm very proud to say.....That I'm the girl that drills the hole that holds the spring that drives the rod that turns the knob.... that works the thingummy bob.
I'm the girl that makes the thing that holds the oil that oils the ring that takes the shank that moves the crank....that works the thingummybob. It's a funny sort of job making a thing for a thingummybob ....especially when you don't know what it's for !!!!

We have a beautiful array of new flowers today, fresh from the nursery. The yard is shaping up, I'm enjoying all the playing in the dirt. The weather is getting quite warm. I hope all of you that we haven't heard from are doing okay. Cheers everyone!

It has been quiet on here Chris.Sandy and Doug especially so.But we forget that folk have things to do and places to go.parts of the forum have been difficult to get into since last weeks changes, and I find it difficult on my lap top so those using phones might be having more trouble.Your garden sounds lovely, enjoy it while it lasts. The seasons pass so quickly.Especially the summer.

Well the aussies arrived yesterday and I had the best birthday ever. Both lads are over 6ft tall and our son towers above me,which isn't hard I admit.I began to wish we hadn't sold the big house in exchange for a tea chest suitable for the old and infirm.hahaha They were down the coast at 7am rock-pooling.Now shopping and later they're doing a dummy run with the new tent.I'd suggest they slept in it but they'd get hypothermia.:ylol2:

Aw Carol im sorry i missed your birthday hen. Happy belated birthday my darlin. What a lovely pressie the boys arriving :)
Hope you had a fab day!!!
It must hard being 21 again..il be 21 for the 35th time later this year...it gets so tiresome trying to convince the mirror & other people im that age.. i mean i dont look a day over 21 . Well ok maybe a few days over but come on!!!:rof:
