I love shiatsu massage. Used to go regularly to one some years back but then she retired and I never foud a new one. But it felt soooo good. She did some acupuncture too but said my Crohns was way too hard to benefit from it and also since I was on cortisone she did not want to stick me full of needles. But the shiatsu was wonderful. She used to be a nurse before going into chines meds so I trusted the knew her thing. Enjoy it T and go again.

My best friend since we where 5 just called me ysterday to tell that her 5 year old daughter had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. :( I dont know too much about type one diabetes, but they have to give her insulin shots 3 times a day. Its sad. But I am sure she will be a strong girl and cope wit it fine.

Hope the earth stands more still for you Aura.

That is so sad that your friend's child has type 1 diabeties. This is a life long type and very much have to pay attention to your blood all the time. Poor kid, so young!
My shiatzu massager is something you put on your computer chair and it is like a back part with seat connected and it has two metal balls inside and they roll up and down your spine. You can add heat too if you want. You can focus on lower back, middle or top or whole back. It was $110.00 at Walmart made by homedics company. I'm sure you can purchase them there too. Ask for one for Christmas. they are wonderful!!!

My preacher told me they are. Jesus was with God from the beginning. In the beginning was the Word and the word was with God and the word was God. The word is Jesus. He is God.He just took the flesh body to prove taht a man can live without sinning and because he knew we couldn't, he gave his human body to save us from our so we can spend eternity with him. Oh one of those massagers you have. Yo should go to a real person.. just to try it out. But I bet that one you put on a chair is good too. Maybe I will get one for x-mas. When do we start planning the next x-mas party anyways? ;)

I am trying Dee!
I'm ok today so far. Trying to get a local Dr. I donot see to do my pillcam at his office. But being I am not a patient there, they are fighting it. I just don't want to have to go clear to Pittsburgh!!! How are you?:)
PS. Daughter is finding out today if her Hepatitis C is becoming active. I am nervous about that.:(
 
Hopefully you will find a wonderful local doctor who can take care of things for you. I'm doing okay, weight is still low. Does anyone with CD gain excessive weight or do we all lose it? Will keep your daughter in my prayers.
 
I was on it for my first five months after diagnoses but then bone density tests showed the start of osteopenia. I now see a bone density specialist and have another test this fall to see if there was further damage. Hope to not go on it again.

I just got more bad news. To top off my friends daughter havin diabetes my cousins wife just informed the family that they will be getting devorced. :( They only were married 10 months. But they have been together for a long time living all over the world. I can totally understand her since my cousins is a bit of a jerk. But sad. Especially since we are left with him not her. But that is life.

You can stay in touch with her as a friend! I stayed in touch with my brother's ex. She was so nice and fun and we email all the time. I used to go visit her alot, but schedules conflict now that she is remarried and has kids.:)
 
I'm not on any meds for the bones as of yet, will find out in October if they are needed.

Sorry to hear about your cousin's divorce, divorce is always a sad thing. Hang in there hun.
 
My friend had osteopenia and the med they had her on did work and her bones are fine now. That was an amazing thing to me!:)
 
I'm here,have to keep getting up to do stuff.Keeping my eye on the weather too,as I've got washing out.I'm sure I was born a Lady, but Mam saw how beautiful I was and took me home instead of the ugly kid.
