Ha ha - I am writing a piece on the history of a cigar shop - gripping eh - but this is part of it about the previous history of the street - now that's a proper heritage!


Around 1520 this area still a meadow leading to woodland and a favourite place to hunt deer for Henry VIII. In 1532 Henry purchased the land and work started on the Palace, later to become home to Henry and his wife Anne Boleyn.

Carol you are back! It is good to have you back and I gave you great support on here while you were dancing around the swords up in the frozen North.
 
Still quite new here but this forum seems to have good spirit in it. So I plan to stick around. Hope to get to know some people here.

And thanks (again) I think hes the best and cutes dog there is (but then I may be bias about it).

I'm sooooo glad Carol is back. :hug: She will keep all the loonies in line so you don't feel picked on, Sanni. Welcome. Hope you are happy here. I agree, you and your dog are beautiful. However, my dog is so ugly, I have pity on her and think she is the most beautiful. (I'm biased, of course.)

I am awake again - I went back to sleep - I got the ideas that were swimming in my head on to paper and then thought best to try and get a bit more sleep. Just doing breaky and meds

Hi, Ms. Teresa :) Doug just said two letters. "Hi." He is a man of few words. No, I didn't hear about the river, but that is very intriguing. I was taking a little break, and not aware of anything for a couple of minutes again :voodoo:, then slept for quite awhile again. (yes, I took my meds on time. Grrrr!)

No naps for me today either. Feeling alot better today. Just stopping in for a quick win. Hubby is waiting for me in bed. He's already snoring!:lol:
He gets up way earlier than me.

They are my family and I honestly don't know how to send them from my skydrive where I store them. I can't send them to the forum.
 
Hey, Trev, you still there? My head feels like a big water balloon about to burst, so I can't sleep (after I told you to go to sleep). I haven't asked you much how you are doing, so how are you doing?
 
How are you, Kirsty, my favorite inspirer of cooking? (I managed to open a frozen dinner tonight.)

See, I'm already feeling better. What a woman really needs is just to be able to talk (and gossip)
 
No I really am very well - keeping fit is my big passion - but when I am ill it is short, sharp and then gone. So I am very lucky
 
I know there are a zoom ailments I could lose if I would keep myself more fit (ie, high blood pressure, etc.)
 
I'm good just heating up tea. Ma and pa come around tomorrow. Hubby comes back Thurs night. I am trying to get more energy and focus during the day to get more work done and not sleep. I'm alright, does get a tad lonely at times, if only the cats could talk...
 
Kirsty, I know what you mean. My dog doesn't talk either. I don't know how you last all week. I get lonely sometimes just when Doug is gone during the day. Is the weekend over already? Your hubby just got home!
 
I could send my dog over, Kirsty, and that would liven things up for your parent's visit. (my dog would play a nice game of chase with your cats.)
 
I very rarely have tea, but I think a nice cup sounds good for the morning. I better try to sleep as it is nearly 1:00am here. 'night all!
 
Robert that is so true. My tea Sandy was my dinner not a cuppa tea:). I do get lonely and its hard coming off the pred it makes it worse. But I am very thankful for all of you - cos you are great company for me :kiss:

I am off to bed as it was an early start - hoping to sleep through the night.

I just got home from "work". After reading about all your naps I think thats what I need now. I might even have time for one. Oh and I win :rof:
 
That is the truth!!! But, boy go to a bar and get 2 beers in them and they talk to everyone in the place like social butterflies!:lol:
 
Oh dear - I have been writing for six solid hours - now I have to stop to deal with the usual abuse!
