This brings to mind the smart words of my uncle from last weekend. We had a fammily wedding then and were talking about gifts. Here people don't make a register in hoping that only cash will be given. So his wise words when talking about what is the correct amount to spend was: For rich people you need to spend more. Poor people are happy even with less.

Good day to you Sanni! You could buy a used game at a video game store very cheap if u know what type of system he has. I have found alot for 3-4.00 used. They don't care either.

Sanni, The girls are into those hairbands that have the glitter and bows on them, or any type of cheap glitter kits to decorate your stuff. Also pretend jewelry and girlie stuff like that. Barretts for the hair too. Nail polish too is a big winner.

Sanni, T is definately right about that! Any cheap makeup too! Have you ever seen the brand E.L.F.? They actually make decent makeup thts uber affordable. Boys like anything that makes noise and annoys other people! The other thing that's an option is to send them practible gifts. They don't always make the biggest splash at first, but you knoe they will use them! Things like those little fingernail clipper kits, or combs, toothbrushes, stuff like that.
You could also always cheat and get them small giftcards! Lol! :) hope I helped some!

Wow ... you all have been busy partying last night! No way to keep up with whats going on.

Thankyou Teresa and Sandy for gift ideas. The little girl is easy... it's the 13 year old boy that will be hard to get something cheap and fun. Ill have to look around some of our "junk" shops to see what they have.

Win!

Oh! The other thing you might not think much of all about is gum!!! Kids LOVE their gum. Ivr seen my nieces go nuts when they open pressents and fing gum!!!

Had a helluva time reading all your posts last night ladies and doug!! I wish I would have come back on! I had my inlaws flooding my jome! One in the guest bedroom, one in the office, and two across my sofas! They went to sleep at 8pm!!!!!! 8pm is like mid day for me! So I was stuck in my dark bedroom. Listening to the hubbys cpap machine! Now all is quiet! Boo... But y'all made me laugh pretty hard this morning! I'm still in my cozies...but I must have missed the party.

By the way, I adire baking! I don't ever eat what I make, much more tham a test bite, but I've made some decent recipes! I have one for a turtle cheesecake that is sinfun!!! Yum. I love to cook and bake. And experiment A LOT in the kitchen!

But loves to you Sandybee, teresa, and kristy, and doug lol! Y'all helped me get my morning laugh in!!! Wonderful!!

Hope all is well with everyone!!! Big hugz! SMILE!!!

WELL!!!! I just read through 5 or 6 pages of absolute loonyism. Don't know how you keep going girls, but to tell the truth I'm glad I'm tucked up in bed when you're at it.I'm exhausted reading it........We had a lovely day in the woods today.Absolute silence except for birdsong.Startled a couple of deer, which was a bonus.Good job Alfie was on his long lead or he would have been away with them.Going to do my juice now. That's what happens when life gets in the way. It's 4pm and nearly dark, but I feel I really need it.Haven't eaten much for a day or two......Winning and back later.

Glad you enjoyed the day, Carol. It sounds wonderful! Since you read all the pages, then I guess there's nothing I need to back track and catch up on?

Oh I would reccommend catching up! Its all hillarious! They ladies, and doug, had quite the time!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed your day carol!!! :) sounds like a wonderful way to spend a day.

Smike! And Hugz!

I am good, JBug! Thanks for asking! Hoping my z-pack antibiotic continues to work in your body after you stop taking, like I have heard, so that I get over all this bronchitis/pluerisy business, lol! How are you hon? And Sandy, how's you?

I'm very good today Cheryl, thank you. The good ol z-pac used to help me immensely when i would get bronchitis, Cheryl, until i developed an allergy during H1N1 flu with pneumonia. Funny thing, i haven't had bronchitis since. Here's praying you don't get it again, without the allergy though.

I wish all the girls could join our pj parties. It's a real pick-me-up without the hangover. We do scare (most) the boys (men) away, though.

Used videogame would probably be awesome for the boys... Ill have to see if I find a place that has cheap ones. But I am thinking I will stick to jBugs gum. :D Thats small and fun and I can give the same thing to all 3 with out feeling like one got more then the other. So maybe gum and stickers. If the oldest one thinks stickers are boring he can give them to his siblings. They are good kids. Live in the country side so not as stuck up as some of the city kids I see here. .. or suburb kids really.

You all have a good day. I need to figure out some dinner. nom nom

Nice to see you Sanni. I liked the gum idea too. Kids from the suburbs do get stuck up don't they? I grew up in one and live in one now, but the house i grew up in had nine kids and so we didn't get much. I hate spoiled kids. It teaches them not to work for what they get. I started buying my own clothes, even, at age 13 from babysitting money, etc.

Oh, enjoy dinner and i win x

I've got to go eat my breakfast before it turns into dinner time.
xxxxx

Hi I'm back, full of juice.I've been a wee bit under the weather for a few days.Little flare (well I hope it's little)I haven't been using my meds for a couple of months, and thought I was "cured".....hooray.I'll be ok in a day or two though.I've got nothing to moan about compared to you guys........Oh,and my beloved still hasn't noticed I've coloured my hair.I despair,I really do.x

If I were 13 I would like a 2013 Kylie wall calendar ..................... actually I wouldn't mind one for this Christmas.

I was just going away, but i couldn't resist. When i first saw your post i thought it said "if I were 131...":rof:

Ah Sandy that's such a shame ........................ if you remember the deal - you only had to make it until tomorrow being nice to me - and you were in the A team with Doug - oh dear. Never going to happen now!!!

He never will now, hun, and if he does he can't say anything. He knows he will be in trouble. Feel better, please.

I didn't say you did say. I just said i thought you said, it looked like it. I have still been kind to you.

Sadly (for you) I have a malicious and unforgiving nature - sorry Sandy - you're toast!

That's really horrible, you never wanted her on the A team in the first place and you've been waiting and hoping for her to put a foot wrong . :voodoo::awe::cry:

Do you think Robert would want a lady on his team anyway Carol ?
That is why we will never be on it.

To the one with the voodoo doll being stabbed in the heart? That is a good likeness of what he does, or is, well, you know..

Hugs for Robert from now on. Now i will go eat my oatmeal. Juicer at work for lunch. Housework needs done. Too bad i can't clean up Robert's attitude while I am at it.

Tut, tut ladies - just be good losers!

Can I remind you that Trysha and GJ are in the A team - Jeanette is about to lose her status through lack of activity.

I should be in it too,if only because I've been on this forum longer than you.

Not sure what his mom would say about that. And I don't know if a 13 year old knows who Kylie is... :D

Of course he wouldn't Sanni.I've almost forgotten who she is.It was sooooo long ago and she was never a big part of MY life.I was too busy having a life:boring:

I don't know if they used to be but today the kids are. I don't think I was.. and I lived in the suburbs. But then I did also spend ½ my time at the countryside. I gues kids are kids no matter what.

Carol, Seems you had a lovely walk with Alfie today. Wish it was not so dark here so early to go on long walks again. The darkness makes all so gloomy. Waiting for the snow to brighten things up. We had a good time in the snow last year. I would walk ahead in the deep snow and then Wilho would try and follow by jumping from my steps to an other. :D I just gave him a bath.. so I get to snuggle a clean puppy.:heart::heart:

Hi Everybody
Lots of sparks flying around the site today.
I would sooner make peace than war.
Now about winning--------

Trysha you can take the win anytime, you're so inoffensive and nice. But Robert (who is about to change his avatar for a picture of his TRUE self)....will probably have something to say about that.

He went so fast for my thinking (prob because i was tired), I'm going to have to stop and pause more. Not sure i agree as much as thought i would, though.

so, what r u wearing?
Where is everyone? I think we really scared them away with our crazy jargen last nite!!! Jbug understands us tho!!:rof::kiss:

I don't agree with it all either, it just fascinates me and well even if half of it is true. Wow what a crazy year is coming.Aye?:shifty:

So true. I'm still wearing my blue sweat pants and checkered pink pajama top that i put on in honor of our party! Trying to get some housework done before I shower and put nicer clothes on. Robert, I'll be a little nice to you.

Hey, what happened to my avatar? I still had my little girl in bathing suit there. Did somebody complain it was inappropriate?

I am still here.. for now.. Going to go out with my clean dog and sadly come back with a muddy wet one.. ok.. muddy is a bit exaggerated.. but wet and dirty paws. Ill be back to claim my win again.

Morning all

Hubs comes back later today, I need to do some shopping. I will be making Christmas cakes this weekend. I have got the dishwasher on and having a coffee. I am so achy today in my back, bugger.

I think its going to rain....rain on Roberts parade as everyone starts to leave the A team and wake up to the freedom of expression that exists outside of any team.

Robert, you like it when you get it back as bad as you dish it out. It's game on to you

morning guys, what happened to the week, its gone so fast. i thought today was thursday. dam ive lost a day.

Fast week indeed. I had two days off this week.. so that explains my loss of the working days. What explains yours?

Kirsty's quiet - what have we done to deserve that?

I think it is time Cheryl changed her avatar - it's not as though she looks like a bag of spanners or anything.
