Thanks Sandy :wink: My apron comes from a lovely Hawkes Bay winery called Church Road - I do enjoy their red wines.
 
That is a very colorful bird. My, you have interesting wildlife there in New Zealand. I really would like to see NZ some time.
 
I was going to just do another quick win because i have things to do. I hope everyone is happy with their new avatars. Robert, you were rather nice looking in that pic. I really am a kind person when you're not mean to me. I want you to know that i juiced again today too. Thanks for the inspiration.
 
I have a Tui in the tree next to me - normally they are a songful bird - but this one sounds like a jack hammer it goes "to-to-to-to" break for ten seconds and the repeats - for the whole day!!!! it has done if for the last three days

Bug is still at the ER. It sounds like they are not treating her well. It is because of her kidney/stones. Please pray for her! She did not sound well.
 
Sandy, Thanks for filling me in and Kirsty thanx too for telling her to. Feel so helpless!~ Wish we couls make you better Jen!:ghug:
 
Just talked to Jbug and she is in so much pain she is crying. Keep her in prayers, ok? Thanks. The stones are what is causing all this!:(
 
She couldn't even talk when she called me. At first i thought nobody was there. I finally got her to text.
 
She also said something about "shit service." I think they aren't treating her with the dignity and respect she deserves. Something i can relate to in an er. One time when i went in after 2nd burns after a seizure, the doc said, in a nasty tone, "oh, it's you again."

I rememeber u telling me that. U should report them to AMA!!!
 
We will have to wait for a pj party when Doug will do his dance and Jen can dance too. She was going to be a big part of the party. Everyone invited though.
 
Did u get the vacuum fixed? Is everything calmed down now?
Jen said she would call me later after her test. I think she is probably dosed up pretty good. if she needs to talk, I will. Poor thing!

Part of vacuum i thought was broken, wasn't. Part of vacuum, stair attachment with beater/roller bar Ashley broke, tried to fix and broke worse. Devil child has broken 2 1/2 vacuums and clothes washer, plus flooded our basement now.

I hope Jen is given something for the pain this time!

Jen told me they gave her something in the ambulance for pain, but it didn't seem to be helping!

I had just had a catscan done that day and went to Er that night with terrible abdominal pain (not knowing it was crohn's). Then this Dr, comes in and says, do u want to know the results of ur catscan and of course I said yes. He said you have a renal carcinoma (cancer of the right kidney). He said it is by no means a death sentence, so don't be afraid and left!!! I was afraid alraight!
 
I was told i had a brain tumor over the phone once, and see you in three weeks. Would give no other info. Turned out to be a benign pituitary cyst that went away on its own.

My kidney surgeon on the other hand was a gem. Prayed with me before surgery and told me I had nothing to worry about, that I was going to be fine. I am fine! He really was an angel to me. I made him a beautiful plaque with a picture of Jesus with his arm around a surgeon guiding his hand as he operated. It said, He is always with you". He cried when I gave it to him and hung it in his office. He said it is still there.
 
I told Doug we were doctor bashing and he just laughed his understanding laugh. He's been there too, and seen it with me
 
One good thing here is Pittsburgh is not real far away and they have world reknowned Dr.s there if it's a life threat situation.

It is nice to hear a good story. There are some good ones. Our family doc is decent and caring, my neuro is very caring and smart, by still misses some things
 
Yeah, sometimes they r in too much of a hurry and miss things. I like the ones that sit down and take the time to really listen...
 
I'm glad you have good doctors around. It makes a difference. We have some good ones around too, I'm just so scared of doctors they don't take me serious. PTSD from doctors. Seriously.

I understand. If I had been treated the way u have, I would be the same way! They made u feel guilty and it was for no reason. Like u were some kind of a faker just trying to get drugs or something!:(

That is why i really feel for Jen. But i have never been accused of abusing drugs in any form like Jen has. Just not taken seriously.

Me either. Just bad bedside manner by a neurologist who told me if my lower back hurt, it was because I needed to lose weight and exercise. He was a real arrogant you know what! :tongue:
 
Tomorrow i might finish laundry and vacuum! Spend some time with my Dougie, he has Fridays off. (Works 10 hour days Mon-thurs)

That would be nice. Mike has had the last 4 Fridays off using up vacation days he had left. It made for a nice long weekend. Next Fri. he will be off too because of Thanksgiving. They forsce them to use a vacation day. But that will really be nice for him.
 
The Dr. that delivered my daughter was another one. he was French and had no compassion whatsoever. He said right in front of me , "If we don't get this baby out soon, it couldie, because of stress on the haert." i had been in labor for 3 days and wouldn't dialate all the way. He hand forced dialated me during pains and turned her head around with his hand too. I swore I would never have another baby! Surprise!:eek:
 
Ashley has early out school (at 1:00) so afternoon is pretty much shot. It will be nice when we are on own again.

That is what really irks me bug, you can't shake a reputation one you have it. I'm the one who has psychosomatic seizures, even though they show up on an eeg. Hang in there.
 
Probably harrassing her with a bunch of tests when they know everything that is wrong with her except helping her with the pain, which is her main problem right now!!!!:(:(:(

Bout it. Gave me fuckin tordal. Sorry for thw language I'm frusterated. Ultrasound tech said it looks like my kidney is compacted with stones

That's the way it is isn't it? U could be in there for five days and see them once for five minutes. I know, it happened when I had diverticulitis!!!! He's the Dr. that missed the tumor in my right kidney when he did the catscan. It was as plain as day and he didn't see it??? U tell me!
