I am a proud Kiwi - of course I will back our men in black. Should they be beaten fair and square no worries. It's ok - it will do this team good as it will consolidate them and make them stronger especially the younger ones.

Who won the world cup Robert? :ylol2: You should have had more confidence in your bet matey and gone for greater than 10 like I did. Then I would be calling you what you wanted.:ylol2:

JK! You're back! Welcome back to the looney bin. Now our world is complete. Well, almost. Add a case of toilet paper for all the IBDers. And Robert is going to give awards sometime soon.
 
I'm home Sandy - how are you going?

Hi all :thumright: Happy Sunday. Our Christmas tree is up and today I made Christmas cake - this had a very interesting mix of spices.
It took me two hours to put it all together and get it in the oven.

Hubs is making baked potatoes for tea tonight with a chilli and cheese topping.
 
Hi Kirsty. this time I have been lurking. waiting for a tone from my cell because it was getting lonely around here.
I don't know how you do so much Kirsty. I was feeling good at the little bit of house work I did between not feeling good. I've still got to get up any Christmas decorations, even a wreath. our living room is so crammed with furniture ever since we bought an antique baby brand piano, I have a hard time finding room for a tree.
I haven't baked a cake in ages. That sounds good. I can make a pretty good cake (not the boxed kind that most people do around here), and I think I will do that tomorrow. You are still inspiring Kirsty.

THanks Sandy - you are too kind. I had a lot of fun in the kitchen today - but it does make me tired.

All we have done for our Christmas deco is 4 stockings over the fireplace, the Christmas tree, and mantel. We also have a village scene which we plug in to light it up. We got this from Lechlade Christmas shop. Now we just got to find out UK plug that converts to a New Zealand plug so we can make it go...:ylol:

Tomorrow I have my first day of work. I will be on in the evenings. When I get a smart phone then I may be able to be on more often. My phone is not a smart one.
 
I guess I better find our decorations. I was really having the "Christmas blues" feeling sorry for myself because a year ago (today in fact) we had our tornado, followed by a seizure at church, followed by a week stay with electrodes hooked to my head. Christmas was in the middle of the week hospitalization. then Doug played Christmas music today, and that really made me happier. I think I'm actually going to get back into "the Christmas spirit." I'm glad I have my Doug.
 
They must be Sandy. I just ate tea. It's great you got Doug, wonderful he has talent with music as well. I can understand why it may be more challenging to regain the Christmas cheer with what you experienced last year. Thank goodness time has moved on, eh?

She is quiet Trev today. Did you hear we had a stunning storm down here? While I was having a moods at hubs - no, it wasnt just that.

We are quiet sheltered where we are. Ma and pa had it rough - but we were sweet. THe thunder caused the earth to move :ylol2:

I'm back and couldn't use internet till today! Hubs got a new program to download the files for backup. Didn't want to risk it shutting down again! I didn't run off with Robbie, he must bee with his real girlfriend or in London maybe on business.
Bug and Sandy, missed you all too so much. Almost had to go to rehab last night coz I was having major withdraw!!!!:ylol2:For real!!!!:hug:
 
I did go to rehab last night. Kirsty saved me. (Oh, that was for my Christmas spirit withdrawal though.)

But seriously, I am soooo glad you are around now. I was just worried something wasn't right (and I was going through major withdrawal myself.) Whew!

I'm ok Sandy! Still kickin as much butt as I need to! God is wonderful, and I count my blessings everyday! I missed you Bee!! And I missed Mama T too!! I was gettin worried too Sandy! Lol! I was about to call her! Almost to moms, gunna put up her Christmas tree. Looking at a house we might buy. I'm runnin a fever today, so I really gotta be careful! I spent all day at the hospital with my father. I want to thank everyone that prayed for him. I am greatful for all of your support!!!

I hope all is well with everyone! Its too quiet in here!!!

one minute I'm fine, the next not so fine, then fine again. (I've been having a weird stomach). overall, pretty good. I'm going to try to get some Christmas decos up tomorrow, that will be nice. Okay music on my CD. Do you work, Dee? I don't remember if you said.

Yes I do work. 2 part time jobs but am only back to one so far. Dunno if I will return to job 2. Love my morning job and its 30 hours a week. The other job is 15 - 25 hours in a bank and I don't enjoy it as much.
 
Sorry, Trev, this one I did do you on purpose. I found out Teresa didn't run away with Bear after all, Teresa's husband is just doing more computer back-up work and doesn't want her to "push his buttons":ybiggrin: while this process is running. It may take a few days.:frown:

Teresa is already going through withdrawal. (so am I!) Bug, Bear, Angel, etc., she told me to tell all of you and everyone.

I am an ogfice manager mornings. Rent out communitu use space, produce a weekly newsletter, do some counselling. Love my job! And yes, another banker. Used to work over 60 hours a week. Single mom with a mortgage. Have slowly cut back over the past five years, just married and unsure if I will return to bank. Alot of stress, alot of germs. Plus I LOVE having afternoons off for errands, hpusework and to have dinnets ready.
 
You always know what is best for you, inwardly, or both in and out. sometimes it is just hard to make the change. congrats on the recent marriage! I think I heard that somewhere but I am bad at keeping track of everyone. I'm going to go watch NCIS (although I've seen this episode before), so have a great night!
 
i keep forgetting you females can multitask, except for having sex and a headache at the same time.

Haven't heard boo from jbug, but thinking bout her and saying prayers. I'm doing okay. Still think this remicade garbage has made me worse though, alot of new pains and burning and increased bm's.

Some people can't take that stuff. Try the brat diet for a few days. Bananas and rice applesauce, tea. It helps alot. I have to go eat before i leave, so have a great day and give my love to the crew!!!!:rosette2:
