So, I was diagnosed with mono last year and I had gotten so much worse-- my ebv levels skyrocketed and a week after (this was in February probably) I was retested by another clinic and they saw no trace. A month later I started feeling normal again and continued to until a week or two ago. I admit I was in a small car accident (though nobody was injured except for the car) but I feel the exact same as when my mono/ebv was at the worst.
Reading online about symptoms isn't the best idea, I know, but I do know ebv can lead to lymphoma especially for those who have a weak immune system (and since I have crohn's, I do). I was told one can only get mono once (but will stay with you or something). I'm just worried about why I am feeling so sick again.
I know not everyone here is a medical expert but anyone have ideas? I plan on calling my gynecologist (who was the one that found high ebv levels in a blood test and I don't have a pcp just a gi and gyn) tomorrow.
