no idea for a title for this one...

okkkkay. so. im off all medications now including predinsone i finished yesterday. my GI has "no idea" what is going on with me, and unless i get "severly" worse i have to wait until jan. to find out any definite answers with a new colonoscopy...joy. im still having the weird stomach pain and vomitting, and i cant wait for this stupid prednisone chubby to go away!!! but my question is to anyone that has come off prednisone did you have like weird bone pains? when walking (not even a far distance..) the bones in my legs hurt extremly bad.. not sure if this was something to expect or i was just a fattyass now and need to get the weight off to feel "normal" again. ohhh how i love the medical world.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I notice joint pain and increased abdominal pain when I get on a lesser dose of Pred. And I'm with you - I'm ready for my PredniChin to go away! It also gives me terrible acne. You might feel better if you slowly increase your activity level. I find that if I've been really sick, and obviously not very active - any exercise has me in pain; but if I gradually increase day by day, my endurance and pain level is managed. Might be something else in your case, like you said, you're in the lovely medical waiting game. Here's to relief for you soon!

I dont think you can get bone pain but joint or muscle pain is common. I get muscle pain after I am off Pred... it will wear off.

Yes I was totally crippled! in my knees, hips and elbows especially. It just feels like it's your bones. I was given a month of Entocort straight after the Pred, and the symptoms disappeared.
I'm now tapering another round of Pred, so I can't wait for the pains again! NOT!

I've just come off pred too. In the final week and still now my lower back pain has returned and I sometimes struggle to get comfy when sitting down. It's really uncomfortable. Not sure if it's related to anything or not but it's v nice

Eek!! Tomorrow I will start to taper off my first round of prednisone. Didn't know I would have things like this to look forward to! heh
I'm glad to know in advance, however.
