HI KAREN. I have a request. Please pray for me. I have a daughter 16 with cronh's since 2011. Thanks God she is doing good. Yesterday my son 14 was officially diagnosed with ankylosing spondalitis, after 9 months of battles with doctors. I need wisdom to make the right choices for my kids, strength to keep going. THANKS

I suppose I shall start since I created the group. I have been praying to The Lord for healing and freedom from the hardships my current flare is putting on my life. I pray for healing of my abscess and fistula and for my pains to subside and my weakness to go away so I can be out in the world as a productive and loving human being.

I am grateful for my IBD for teaching me what illness is like and for growing in my compassion for others struggle but I pray for an end to my suffering and for all those suffering here and elsewhere. I would appreciate prayers on my behalf and would be happy to pray for anyone seeking healing.

My need for prayer is to let be in God's hands...it's been quite a year...my job was recently eliminated...I was in an upper level management position, starting back at the beginning now (I was one of the three of the 11 positions eliminated that were offered a job.) I've been looking for setting else. I need prayer to give it to God and let him lead me on the right path. Thank you!
 
Lord I pray in your name for Ginger is here. Find it in your heart Lord to provide her with healing and comfort during her time of need. Pick her up and give her the strength to put her life back together. May she find a new job that suits her well. I pray in your name. Amen.
 
Prayer request I'm having a bad flare up started last night after supper it continued through the night and into today we are out of town and I'm stuck in the hotel room!! I'm just so tired of being sick!!! Thanks
 
I pray for rapid healing and disappearance of pain for lblair. May this flare up go away as quickly as it came up and may lblair find peace from this disease.
 
Praying for Ginger today giving it to God is the right thing to do. I give my day to him every morning. Also pray for everyone else that needs pray due to what ever sickness that they may have or even a struggle with everyday life.

Heavenly Father you know the sick and you know the ones that struggle with everyday life and I know that you are the great physicians and have the power to heal I also know that you have a plan for each and everyone of us!! I'm so grateful that you are who you are. Please watch over all my Crohn's Friends and give them peace and strength to fight what ever it is they need to fight. Thank you for everything that you already have done. Thank You for all the gifts that you have given everyone. I also Pray for the the ones that may not know you that some day they will.

I will DO MY BEST TO COME IN FROM TIME TO TIME to see how your all doing and I am PRAYING for all of you too !!
 
Fever is at 103, I can barely walk from the excruciating pain and am prepping for more surgery. Please pray for me to make it till the next operation and to find health and vitality after this procedure so I can resume my life. I need God to lay his hands over me and heal me of my afflictions. I know through God anything good is possible.
 
I would like to request 2 prayers if I may? 1) this will be my first week I will be alone since being diagnosed in March of this year and I am still in a pretty bad flare:-(
2) the reason I am alone for this first time is my elderly parents are going to Canada for our family reunion ( they need the break) and I pray they have a safe trip. My father has dementia and my 80 y/o fire cracker mom will be doing the driving. Thank you for allowing me to place 2 prayer request. I am scared for them as I am usually with them in the journey home to Canada and I am scared to be alone... Don't mean to be scared and I am trying to be strong... Just emotional lately~. God bless all of you and I pray that each of you find health and strength. Xo. Michele. Ps they were not going to go due to my flare but I insisted they have their holiday they have been planning since way before I became dignosed with CD
 
God, please be with ngng at this time. Ngng needs the power of your heing to help him through this terrible disease. Please watch over ngng and give ngng the strength needed to get through this so that the next step can be reached. I pray this in your name, Amen.
 
Lord, I pray for dragonfly. This is the first time she will be alone and she is having a flare. Please watch over her and keep her safe. Please help to ease the pain/discomfort of her flare. Lord, please watch over her patents as they travel to Canada. Please allow them to have a safe journey there and a safe trip back home. I pray this in your name, Amen.
 
God please help NGNG to feel better and that surgery will be successful. God please be with Dragonfly at this time, heal her from her flare and take away her fears and take care of her parents. AMEN
 
Lord, I pray for these people for their healing, decreasing symptoms, health and your love. Give them wisdom to make the decisions they need to. Be with their families as they continue to provide support to their loved ones.

NGNG I pray for a very successful surgery bringing you peace and relief. May God be with your surgeons hands and everyone involved. May your symptoms be gone and healing begin with the surgery.

Dragonfly May God watch over you as you have some alone time. May your symptoms be few, your energy abundant, and may peace surround you.
 
I have been having a rough time at work lately. I am a youth director at a local church and I love what I do, but summer for me is my busiest time of the year because my students are out of school and they want to spend time with me and they want to be with each other as much as possible. As summer draws to a close, I am almost to the point of burn out because we have been going full throttle since June with mission trip, camps, events and Bible Study. Thankfully, I am going on a youth workers retreat next weekend and then a much needed vacation at the end of the month. I was so worn out this past weekend that I almost went off on one of our leaders yesterday and then, today I slept the majority of the day.

I have had a very difficult year so far this year and dealing with Crohn's makes work even harder. I have struggled a lot this year with surgery, anger, depression, and lack of support from others (thankfully no none on this forum!)

So I guess to say that the request is that in the next few weeks and I can get some rest and a renewed sense of my call to minister to teens.

Thanks all and I am thankful for this thread and forum! :)
 
guitarjamie --May God give you a refreshing and relaxing retreat to renew your strength and heal your body. May His peace surround you and lift you up. May God lift the metal struggles and bring new hope to you.

Joshua -- May God blanket your body in health and healing. May your symptoms wane as you continue to finds things that make you feel better. I pray for your physicians to listen and work with you to obtain complete remission
 
Lord please give guitarjamie a chance to rest and revive himself so he can feel healthy and do good work for fellow man.

God please provide Joshua with health, healing and love. Let all suffering go and let Joshua be free from the grips if this illness.

Thanks everyone for the prayers, but now I have a praise report!! I went to see my GI today and I found out that I am officially in remission!! Yea!! :D

Just an FYI for everyone, I have been in remission for a year and a half now since my surgery. Still have fatigue issues, but otherwise doing well.
@NGNG, Do you have a status update on surgery? How are you doing? Praying for health and healing.
 
Still waiting to hear on the big one but have had surgery and currently recovering. I'm praying I won't need the bag.
 
Lord, please comfort NGNG while he is healing from surgery. I pray his surgery is successful and he continues to strengthen and become healthy. Praying Lord that his healing is complete and that he does not need further surgeries or a bag.

Please pray for my son Johnny.

He had an undercooked hamburger on Sunday and is having loose stools now. (not normal for him) His WBC is pretty low and Ecoli would be a nightmare. I also don't want anything to kick him out of remission. I pray for a normal school year and lots of growth for him.

Blessed Father please ensure young Johnny will digest his food properly and that it will not cause any GI distress. May it be your will God that Johnny continue to grow and be strong and enjoy a healthy productive school year like his peers. Please Lord let not Johnny know what a return of IBD is like, let him stay in deep and Godly remission. I pray this in your holy name. Amen.

Hi everybody. I am asking for a prayer for my son's pediatrician family. Today I found out she died a couple of days ago. A wonderful and very caring Doctor. Rest in peace.
 
Dear Lord, please be with Araceli's pediatrician's family as they morn her loss. Please welcome her with open arms to the gates of heaven and take away any fears or pain. Give her family peace knowing that she is in the arms of our Heavenly Father. I pray this in your name and pray for all others on this thread. Amen

I know it has been awhile since we've talked. I've lost a lot of faith after having been sick so long. I ask upon you now, Lord, to help me believe again. To help me have hope again. Please guide these doctor's to help turn my life around. Please guide them in their thinking and action. I need my health, Lord. But mostly, I need you.

And for all those suffering tonight as am I, I pray to you Lord, that you help them find peace and health soon.

Please pray for my wife Sandy. Her epilepsy has hit hard this year.She doesn't have the health she needs to get things done around the house. She is depressed and needs more help than I have energy to provide, though I really try.

Also, I am having problems with swelling in the feet and shortness of breath. It is possible for Humira to cause this, it is listed as a rare but serious side effect in the medication guide. My GI ordered cardiac and IBD blood tests, chest xray to check for pneumonia in the lungs, and an echocardiogram.I will get results next week. In the meantime I cannot take Humira.
 
Lord please calm DougUtes wife's epilepsy, let her body be still and healthy and totally calm in your holy hands. May you also provide Doug with healing and guide him so he may find the medical answers and solutions to his problems. I pray in the name of the Father, Amen.
 
Hi all,

I'm relatively new to this forum and just joined the prayer group. I've been living through a nightmare and could really use prayers. I've had colitis for over a year. Budesonide helped last yr, but not now. I had C.Diff in May and have not been normal since. I have chronic steatorrhea and diarrhea. I have a family who needs me and I need my health. My pancreas has been deficient and it worries me. I'm in tears (a lot), I try to hide my pain around the kids. No one should know this pain. Been on Budesonide 4 weeks, started Remicade this past Mon., and Prednisone today. Please, Dear Lord Jesus, shine your light and love upon me. Bring me, and other sufferers, healing and strength. I feel so alone in this struggle. My daughter asks me every day if my tummy feels better yet and I cry inside when I let her down. God guide me to the right physicians. I pray for your mercy on me, Dear Lord. I pray for ALL others, those struggling and in remission. In Jesus name, Amen.
 
Dear Father in heaven we come to you with open hearts, open to your healing and letting our requests be known.
Lord, I pray that Taylorali come to know your love and peace again and let her know that you always walk with her even when she is sick.
For DougUte wife I pray for decreased seizures, increased energy and lift this depression. Let her feel your love and the strength you can give her. I pray for Doug, for healing of his shortness of breath. Guide the Drs to quickly find the cause and a simple solution. Be with him during this waiting time.
Lord, I pray for Iriechic, bring people to her life that will help support her, care for her and guide her on what she needs to do to become healthier. Please let her see your love and caring through others.

I thank you that you are with us always especially when we are in pain, scared and feeling down. I ask that You comfort all of those who need a special touch this evening. Please pray for my dear friend, Tim. He will be meeting the Lord at any moment. Tim has fought with such grace and faith an aggresive brain tumor over the last few months. Tim is a single Dad to two daughters, 15 and 10. Tim has been an example of a true Christian. It breaks my heart to see him go, but I know God has great plans for him. His life here on earth was not wasted. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Need prayers for my daughter who has ulcertive colitis we have been in hospital for 5 nights already with what dr thinks after many tests a bad flare

Jessie is doing better today started steroids last night,fever free for 24 hrs.down to 5 poops today.they are starting the remicade tomorrow hoping to be released friday
 
Prayer request for overnight healing that I will not need procedure by general surgeon in the morning. I thank God for my strong and balanced immune system. I thank God that His Word says we have been healed, that Jesus has already paid for our pain and suffering on the cross. I thank God that my spirit woman is 100% in alignment with this promise of divine restoration. Body, I speak the word of faith to you. I demand that every organ perform a perfect work for you are the temple of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, I charge you in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ and by the authority of His Holy Word to be healed, and made whole, in Jesus' name. Thank you, God for the blessings and mercy you show these humble, enlightened masters on this forum. I can only guess we are becoming enlightened in order to better serve your kingdom through these trials. We ask for strength and mercy and a good quality of life that brings joy to our hearts as we bring joy and service to others. Lord, your mercy endures forever. Please pour out your blessings, unexpected turn-a rounds, ease, comfort, strength, support from every direction, laughter, prosperity, vitality. Please give us our lives back so that we might turn them over to you. In the name of Jesus, I cast out any and all dark forces in any of the hospital rooms, doctors offices, waiting rooms, surgery centers, cars and homes where we find ourselves. Praise report!! The surgeon did not cut me this morning!! He was a gruff, unhappy, dictator kind of fellow and I did end up crying as I laid out my case (intense drainage last night within an hour of that post I made above, day 4 of antibiotic, on remicade, general improvement). The prayers around here are very strong and super charged. When two or more gather with the kind of faith we develop having health challenges &/or having children w health challenges, God's word does not return to us void. Thank you Lord for this gift of pure grace. Your mercy endures forever. I will continue to pray to have a safe, healing weekend and follow up with the more pleasant surgeon who did my seton with next week. This guy today was able to see me last minute, but woah, definitely not referring anyone to him unless they're dying. But God knows what he is going through so I'll pray for him and his patients.

Hope Jessie gets to go home feeling good today!!

Father, Mother God, please wrap your loving arms around El-ahrairah's friend Paul who needs your assistance. Please come to his side, turn on his detoxification organs, ignite his will and passion to live and restore him to health. Surround his bed with angels and competent doctors and nurses so that his time in the ICU is short. Let him return to life with forgiveness and gratitude in his heart. He is needed here on earth. BlessingsK I am so glad things work out well,Paul I will pray for your friend...Jessie came home today 3more days of steroids and a couple more on flaygel..she is doing ok, ate ok today and only two trips to the bathroom her next remicade is set for the 26, thank you for all who prayed for her
 
Thank you all, for your prayers, whether it be for DougUte, myself as his wife with my epilepsy and depression, BlessingsK, Jessie's Mom, NGNG, El-ahrairah's friend, or any of the many others on this forum. It has helped me feel His love and peace, and their is no greater blessing.
I'm a very private person how I pray, but I believe in prayer very much. I pray for those on this forum daily, those I know, and those I don't know. El-ahraihah, I am especially going to pray for you and your friend tonight. I lost a very close friend to suicide several years ago, and it is a very hard situation. People make judgments about this all the time, but I believe it is not ours to judge. But I will pray for Paul, healing if it His will, and for peace for him and his family and friends.

I pray for continued healing for everyone and Lord, we pray for Paul, let him feel your love and his worthiness to be in this world, spread happiness to him and let him know he is loved by others. I really need your prayers for my teenage cousin who has UC since 9 yo and haven't had a one day of remission since. The girl is really depressed but she is a very strong girl!
I can't look at her or I start crying. I just hope she gets better soon :(

I am praying for everybody on this group or not on this group who is suffering from IBD to have the strength to keep fighting. Also praying for the doctors to find a cure because I'm tired of it!

Dear Lord I pray for ForeverCrohn's cousin, bless her with complete healing and strength. Help her go into remission, give wisdom and guidance to her physicians to lead her to the path of help. Be with her family to make decisions that help in her healing. We ask this in your name. Amen

Thank you Gra. I pray for you as well so that you and our crohn's forum family cease to suffer.

May there be a day soon when this forum is no longer necessary. I pray one day we have no new members and no new victims of the horrendous illnesses of IBD and that those who have it will be healed. I pray for complete healing of our bodies. Lord, unclog our intestines, boost our immune systems and allow us to be restored to full health. I pray and plead in God's holy name. Amen.
 
God, please help ngng feel better soon. You know that ngng gives a lot of support to this forum and needs to be healthy to keep doing it. Take away the pain and cure the fistula and abscess. Thank you God for hearing our prayers.

Hi guys, in doing my second remicade infusion ATM, please pray that it goes well and gets me into 100% remission xoxo also my prayers go out for all who need it
 
Praying that Joshuaaa has success with Remicade infusions and finds that it completely heals his bowels and places him in total remission.

Sending prayers of support and healing to everyone who has any form of IBD tonight. Fistulas, j pouches, bags, ulcers, skin tags, abscesses, carbuncles, blood, diarrhea, constipation, strictures, mucus--- I name it all as no match for God. Anything and everything that is not of God is dissolved and rooted out of our bodies. God dwells in us and His/Her life permeates our spirit, soul and body so that we are filled with the fullness of God daily.

May we feel a pillar of supportive, loving divine light the width of our shoulders pour down our spine, reminding us of our essential goodness and how much we are loved by God. Our souls are perfect and we are here for a reason. May we be re-assured that even when we can't find a reason, there is a bigger picture that perhaps will be revealed later, but that everything is OK and so it is. Amen.
