So I am once again asking for prayers for Jessie she is flaring again and next remicade isn't till dec 23, thank goodness we aren't in the hospital this time we just started flagel yesterday. While at doctor we got some bad news though apparently while in hospital they did a cat scan and they found out she has malformation of the intestants and needs surgery to correct it,this poor kid can't catch a break..we see the surgeon on tues so please keep Jessie in your prayers
 
Lord, we ask that you hold Jessie in your arms. Provide the best possible doctors to make the best possible decisions to ease her pain, diarrhea, etc. She is your child and we ask this in your most holy name. Amen
 
Please pray that the doctor I am going to on Monday will have wisdom on what treatment would best help me. I am going for a second opinion. Thanks and avid bless you all.
 
Lord please send your healing angel down to Jesse. Please ease the pain and suffering. Give strength to her parents and wisdom to her doctors. For we know not why but that we may have faith. Hear our prayers Lord.

Through the intercessions of our Lady of Mercy, our dear Mother Mary and our beloved St. Faustina, that you will guide ronroush to the best doctor they can find to treat their Crohns condition. We pray that this new Doctor will seek a new path of healing, that they will have compassion and the will to end her/ his suffering.

We know not why we were chosen to fight this battle. Lord give ronroush and others the courage to continue the fight. Help us to carry our cross.

Lord, we boldly stand together in prayer and ask that you perform a miracle for our sister and daughter Jessie. This family has been through so much and Jessie has special needs which makes it more difficult for her to express what she is feeling. God please take away the frustration and the diarrhea and all symptoms related to this flare. We pray this in your most precious name. Infuse this mother with strength and the peace that passes understanding. Let her handle this hospital stay wih ease and certainty. She has been here before and she is wise. May the doctors help this child. If surgery is required, we will pray for the best possible outcome. God Bless everyone who is suffering right now. Thank you. We love you.

"I know that God has a specific purpose for us, and while we may not understand right now how we will muster the strength to fulfill his purpose, we must remain centered on his face. He will provide what we need to move forward. He will provide the soft nudges to help us feel confident that we are doing what he intended......I pray that we find comfort and solace knowing that God loves each one of us and will wrap each one of us in his arms when the days become too much. I pray that God will heal Jesse, and give Jesse's parents the strength to provide comfort through these most difficult times".

Jessie still in hospital please pray ,Friday they are doing a endoscope and colonoscopy to see what's going on and tomorrow a scan with contrast to look at other organs...
 
Divine hugs and blessings to Jessie and her mom and family. I will pray for her throughout the day on Friday, trusting God with His plan for Jessie. Grateful for skilled doctors who make good decisions and intuitively know what God would have them know to be of greatest help to Jessie. Clear the hospital of tired doctors who try to fit her diagnostically in a box, but fill the place with top notch doctors and nurses who are willing to stretch their understanding and do extra research if necessary to find out what is going on and what needs to be done to help her. We pray this in your holy name. Inner strength and resilience and sleep to Jessie's mother.
 
We are still here in hospital!! Jessie needs prayers and so do we , today the pediatric surgeon approached us with a surgery to remove colon and rebuild it with the small intestants..gastro hasn't approached him yet but jes and his daughter danced together,he told us by the time he gets the kids with colitis it's to late and not possible.so god please guide us I. Making the right decision for our sweet girl,do we continue with the meds 6mp and asacol or do we go this route??i will hate to get her well enough to go home and end up back two months later like last time but major surgery scares me he said its a two to three surgery step but in long run the colitis will be gone..:confused2:

I'm so sorry to hear it is this serious. I prayed and lifted Jessie's name up to God in church today. I will continue to pray for discernment for you as you speak with the doctors and decide on such a major surgery. Sending strength and God's blessing. I hope you can connect with someone on here who has experience with a surgery like they're recommending.
 
Lord please be with Jessie and her mom. Guide the Dr's and their decisions in making the right choice for Jessie. We ask for complete healing for Jessie and that she is able to come home and heals quickly Lord. Bring peace, comfort and strength to Jessie and her family.

Lord give Jesse's mom the direction she needs to make such a life changing decision. May the angels and Saints provide comfort and healing to Jesse. It is in these times Lord that we must say " Your will be done".

They put a pick port I her today ( not sure if that's how it is spelt) they are giving her nutrients ,cipro,flagyl,Iv fluids, steroids, and tpn they did a power one so they can draw blood through it as well,her poor vines are so shot..hoping some levels start coming down.she was actually up for a bit today playing with a new friend she has made in hospital..she is so done it breaks my heart to see her like this, hoping tomorrow the doctor can give me some good news tomorrow,thank you for all the prayers they mean so much
 
May God heal little Jessie and bring her home healthy. Give her and the family strength.

Ok still here!! I am about at my wits end we have been in hospital since nov 29!!! Yesterday the gastro dr decided no more remicade he is going to keep her on 6mp, with surgeon on standby for j pouch surgery..I finally called my pediatrician for help, the surgeon looks at it as do the surgery which is very intense but if successful will free her from colitis, fix the malformation of intestants and free her from meds..the gastro feels we should put her back on 6mp because her poops where better and no flares then if she flares again surgery..my question is why did you take her off 6mp and put her back on it.he told me in august he needed to treat her more aggressively which means to me it wasn't working,then why are we going back..thank god I had my pediatrician who I trust now get involved he said let's go with gastro get her out of hospital and then we are sending her to a hospital in ny city for second opinion I am at my wits end so I am going with my pediatrician because he will look at every option
 
I was thinking about a second opinion but did not want to make that suggestion. So glad your pediatrician did!! Also teaching hospitals have all the latest info and the most trained physicians. I am praying your new hospital is one!! This is good news Jesse's mom. Hang in there. The Lord is guiding you!! How great thou art!!!

So today they told me her last stool showed elatse so they want to do a sweat test to check for cystic fibrosis...all I want is her to be home and healthy and I feel like I will never get out.for the past two day her hands and feet are hot but not arms or no fever???anyone experience this with 6mp

Tonight, I fell asleep watching A Christmas Carol. Since I woke up, I have gone to the bathroom three times and I still don't feel good. Please say a prayer for me. Thanks.

Praying for everyone tonight, including myself, to develop strength and resilience and confidence in our abilities to bounce back from the adversity and uncertainty that these health challenges entail. Ronroush, I hope and pray you are feeling better with less bathroom time today. Jessie and Jessie's mom, I hope and pray you have peace and the doctors do the right tests to be able to help Jessie in NYC. Ngng, lodge lady, kit, Iriechic, johnnies mom, and everyone with IBD, may we have gratitude and bless our journey and love ourselves and give credit to ourselves for being absolute warriors who process difficulty with ever-greater ease and ask Jesus to please give us a break if at all possible, but to know that He is by our side, working in our lives and in our spirits in unseen, magical, loving ways to teach and evolve us into love and acceptance and compassion.
He casts out fear and these health challenges require us to REALLY cast out fear because we have to take it one day at a time and discern when we need hospitals, antibiotics, or treatment that is often unknown and potentially hard. But do not fear, listen for guidance, ask for help, and know we all love each other here. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
 
Lord I pray for all of us here who suffer from IBD and the other complications that arise from a chronic autoimmune disease. I pray there be a day when disease is only mentioned in the history books and that pure abundant health is granted to all. I trust in God our creator who so loves us and wants the best for us. I pray that our Father in Heaven bless us and keep us in his favor and grace and let us to live healthfully so that we can do his will on earth. Amen.
 
Lord I pray today that you give each and everyone of us who is battling Crohn's disease and those who are supporting a sufferer, the strength and endurance to deal with this disease. We are all trying different methods of healing. Please give us the strength and prayers Lord to keep hopeful and not feel defeated when my meds are not working, when this disease try's to take my spirit away.

I pray especially for all those on this forum and all others suffering that this Christmas season will spare us of the pain and let us enjoy and reflect upon this most holy occasion.

I pray for health and happiness for each one of you for 2014.
 
I would like to ask for prayers tonight as I lay awake in awefull pain and nausea. I have been trying to deal with intermittent pain for about a month. This weekend pushed me over to intense pain. I started an antibiotic and did eat a small salad. Don't know which has caused the sudden turn for the worse.

I fear if I see my GI tomorrow he will put me back on prednisone and other tests. Please pray that I can get over this pain and nausea.
 
Please Lord, look over LodgeLady and lay your healing and loving hands upon her. God give her the strength she needs to overcome this flare and grant her body the will to fight this illness without resorting to tougher drugs. We know that anything is possible in your name Lord.
 
Lord we pray that LodgeLady's pain and nausea is only temporary and we ask that you bless her with a miracle so that after she sleeps well tonight, her body can re-set. Give her energy, strength, balanced nervous, endocrine and immune systems and normal, easy digestion and elimination. If her doctors agree, may she take good probiotics 3 hours away from antibiotic. Amen
 
Dear Father in heaven, please grant your healing for lodgelady and ron roush please give then some relief from pain and symptoms. Let them feel your healing presence and guide them in what they need to do for themselves.

Thank you for all the prayers! Saw my Doctor today and he says I'm having a gall bladder attack! CT scan and hida scan scheduled. Got Dilaudid pain med, zofran and have to fast to rest the gallbladder . I had stones on an older hida scan that weren't giving me too much problem. So now will probably have surgery unless tests find something else. There is a big link between Crohn's and gallbladder disease. Who knew?

yay Lodge Lady! Hopefully it is an easy fix and you can move on! I am glad you went to the dr instead of just suffering and hoping it went away! Prays to feel better soon!
 
St. Timothy is a Patron Saint for those who suffer from stomach and intestinal diseases.

He became the patron saint of stomach trouble sufferers because he would take a little wine with his food for the health of his stomach. Timothy was the beloved disciple to whom the Apostle Paul addressed two of the Epistles of the New Testament.



Dear Saint Timothy, well known for your gentleness, you were a most faithful disciple of St. Paul and like him traveled much to bring the Good News to all people. The Letters Paul wrote to you reveal your zeal and inspire us with confidence in you. You too were cast into prison and you too gave your life for Christ. So with confidence we dare to ask: please obtain relief for (all those suffering from Crohn's disease , especially those in our prayer group , and myself) if it be God's will. Amen.

Today is Epiphany as Iriechic reminded me. I was reading Father Thomas Keating's article on Epiphany in the Contemplative Outreach newsletter (an organization founded by Father Keating for spreading the message of contemplative prayer/ Contemplative Christianity). I read it while getting my remicade infusion :).
"Epiphany is the Christian celebration of what our brothers and sisters in other religions call enlightenment... an inward realization and consciousness of being identified with who we really are....each of us is manifesting God, but there is more...The feast of Epiphany reveals that God is inviting us to participate in the union of the Son of God with human nature. The incarnation of the Word made flesh is the marriage between the divine and human nature in Jesus Christ. We share in the mystery of the Word made flesh in virtute of the oneness of the human species and become one body with Christ. This revelation is symbolized in the Gospel text by the water changed into wine. In this image we humans are the water and the Spirit is the wine."

May we let ourselves, body, soul, spirit, be more and more taken over by this incredible love that is always with us, but that has to be uncovered by a certain amount of discipline, trial and trust. God is sheer compassion, forgiveness, tenderness and even playfulness. May He work in our lives to strengthen us, make us real, heal our bodies, and allow us to serve Him in ways that we can hear.

Well never made it to the Hida scan. Was admitted to the hospital today. Had a bad reaction to the Humira which put me in an asthma attack. Plus my potassium is all out of wack due to my diet. So that's it for me and Humira.
 
aww, praying for ronroush and lodgelady. Infection to clear up (immune system balance) and LodgeLady, sorry you are in hospital :(.God is in this too. Praying. Stay strong.
 
Just got back from hospital, awaiting biopsy results to check for CMV, please pray that I don't have it and I can find my way back to remission very soon.

I am experiencing increasing pains in spite of my medications and ileostomy and I am afraid there might be significant inflammation. I ask for prayer in the name of Jesus that my crohn's heals and that I can be healthy and reverse my ostomy.
 
Dear Father in Heaven we pray for NGNG. We pray for decreased pain, decreased symptoms and a way for healing. Give peace and wisdom for a path for healing! Lord we pray for a cure for Crohn's so all that suffer can be healed. You are the great physician and we put our trust in you!! Amen
 
Through the intercessation of St. Timothy and the healing miracles of St. Fr. Damien, hear our requests for NGNG. That they may have comfort and release from pain. That their body stop any further inflammation and begin to heal. Hear our prayer requests Lord, that NGNG and others may find peace and relief today and tomorrow.

Praise God, Joshuaa's CMV test was negative.

And we ask that NGNG experience significant relief so that his ostomy can be reversed. Lord, you are our Healer and Jesus has paid our debt on the cross, so we praise You and trust in your word which says we can overcome the world, the flesh and the devil, by the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony. You have given us life and as we attend to your words, listen to your still, small voice in our heart, may Your truth align with our physical bodies. We appreciate these physical temples which house the Holy Spirit and we ask for freedom in the temple. Freedom to have one or two normal bowel movements a day, freedom to digest food, freedom to have all our organs perform as God created them to perform. Freedom for our immune systems to take care of foreign invaders before we even know about them, freedom for our immune systems to recognize the difference between self and non-self. Freedom to eat, breathe and live healthy among our peers and families, moving forward with the compassion these challenges have taught us. We ask this in your most Holy name. Amen.
 
God please give NGNG the strength to keep fighting, bless him with healing, he will be healthy again,please bless us with the gift of remission, and please give mankind the wisdom to develop a cure, and please forgive us for our impatience but please let a cure be found soon. Asking for prayers tonight as I prepare for gallbladder surgery tomorrow. Praying this surgery will be the answer for my continued pain and weight loss. Thanks for all your prayers! All went well. On pain meds but I can already tell the " other " GB is not there! My pain now is from the incisions and gas they pump in. Once that dissipates should be much better. Will start eating today. I'm praying for no pain after eating:) thank you all so much!!
 
Is it bad feeling good? But want to help others? At times its fine and others God is putting us though trials. But i wait for whats next how long? stress works very well here on the mind. thank you karen and others. if wasnt for God . God bless you all
 
Lord we lift ronroush7 to you so that you may ease his stress and let your abundance flow through him. Let him walk in your path and follow your ways so that he shall live abundantly.
 
Let us pray, that ronrush7 gets relief from all the stresses of life, especially his financial stress. For his burden is heavy and his will is tested. By the power of St. Micheal, may these demons be released and may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ settle in his soul.

Maria, Hi Karen I thank God for you. A thought when I go to the doctors and say hey I have God is with me on my side. and understand we are going through stuff. It gets quiet. I had bypass 4yrs ago and God got me though that it was hard, and with crohn's,and continually your going to get this and that,i cannot work anymore. God has a plain form! If only they know God as I do. im not perfect, but on my way. I thank him every day to be alive! being close to death and lots of time your think better or worse. That's how I get though. Its a trial getting though is the hard part.one day at a time that's a lot. we are not alone! God bless you all!

Mdd, in 1997,the Crohn's Disease was in my duodenum. People at church laid hands on me and prayed for me. The next time a test was done on me, they couldn't see the hole in the duodenum. Praise Jesus.

Karen, Thank you SO MUCH for being such an adamant prayer warrior for those of us with UC and CD. I know that God loves all of us and cares, despite the dark, lonely, painful and difficult times of suffering that we go through. He has a plan for all of us.

My request is for our family, or rather lack thereof. My husband and I have been married for 7 years and want to have a baby, but after such a long time of trying to conceive it's hard not worry about if we ever will or if there are any problems. I know that God will honor our asking, but I love bringing other people in to pray with us. God will grant us a baby, because he knows our hearts, but prayer on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Karen. :heart:
 
Hi guys, tomorrow I'm flying to another state to have another scope done on thursday, please pray that it goes well and that professor Borody finds out exactly what is wrong with me and that God may give him the wisdom to provide me with a treatment plan that rids me of this disease. Thank you all, and I pray that God gives mankind the knowledge and wisdom to find a cure to both crohns and UC. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
 
Lord please bless Joshuaa that he may find the answers he seeks so that his disease may be managed properly. Jesus, we all place our hope and trust in you, to gives us all, especially Joshuaa, the strength to carry on and fight for better health. These burdens are heavy, our energy gets sucked away. We need you Lord to help carry our cross. It is with complete trust and mercy we place our needs with you. For only you know why and how. Please use these doctors as instruments of your healing power. And so, through the intercessions of our Blessed Mary and Saint Faustina, hear these prayers Lord.

I love the look of snow but I take public transportation and need to get to my GI on Thursday. He is going to tell me about switching to Srelara. Northern Virginia is supposed to get a snowstorm on that day. Pray that I can make it to my appointment. Thanks and God bless you.

Ron here in Maryland our Govenor has already declared a state of emergency for Thursday. We are supposed to get over a foot of snow in my area. I think Virginia is in the same situation. Can you call tomorrow and reschedule? I doubt the public transportation will even be running. Please stay safe Ron.

I pray they will abide vitally united to YOU, and that YOUR words will remain in and continue to live in their hearts, so that Meg & Jason may ask whatever they will and it shall be done for them. For YOU have called and chosen them that they might go and bring forth much fruit, and keep on bearing lasting, remaining, abiding fruit, that YOU may be honored and glorified. In JESUS Holy Name Amen!!!!!!!!
