Please everyone, pray for my husband's cousin Carol (my close friend who introduced Doug and me). She has had epilepsy pretty much all her life and has gotten a lot worse especially this last year. I think she just had a stroke in the past day or two also. (My case, I had a stroke which caused seizures later on from the scar tissue, I think her epilepsy is causing a stroke. Ironic, huh?) It is a long story, but it is too late to give clot busting drugs if she did, but she was seen by a doctor this morning to do blood tests, etc. I think they should have admitted her to the hospital, as now she can't even speak where you can understand her, but they didn't. Her bro-in-law who is a physician's assistant drove her to her appointment this morning, and just told me not to worry about it! I told him to call her because she sounds a lot worse than yesterday, and he said he spoke to her an hour ago, and she sounded better than this morning. (??!!! You can't understand her for the most part.) She also just told me, after not understanding most of what she is saying, that she can't get up, that she needs help. She lives out of state from me, (and is home, lives alone), or I would go right over there and take her to the hospital myself. Please pray for her.
 
Dear Lord we pray for Carol. We pray for healing and wisdom for the physicians to make sure the correct treatment is given. We pray for the family for strength to support her during her recovery. Amen
 
Just an update, Carol is doing much better than expected. She still has problems, but she is not in any life threatening emergency at the moment, and hopefully won't be. Thank you all. :ghug:
Rosalee, I pray that your friend has relief of pain and quick healing, the ability to rest, also the strength to get through whatever she needs to face, but most importantly to know she is in God's hands. May she know His tender mercies and feel His love and peace through friends, family and all around her. I pray for that in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

I was wrong! Carol is not out of the woods yet. She just got put in the hospital (better late than not at all if she needs it). Please continue to pray. It looks like she did have a stroke after all.
 
Praying for God's hands on Carol. May she feel His healing presence and may the doctors find out exactly what happened and help her in the most appropriate way. Love to her family and extended family.
 
I heard Carol took a turn for the worse and Sandyute wants prayers. Carol had a bad stroke and grandmal seizure. They traveled to go see her.
 
Thank you Rosalee, you are right. She went into respiratory arrest yesterday morning, got revived, but now isn't very responsive. please continue to pray. We're staying in a motel in Idaho so we can spend some time with her in the hospital.
 
Lord we are asking that you heal Carol. Let her amaze doctors with how well she doing. Give Doug and Sandy the continued strength to be by her side as she heals.

Lord, we put Carol in your healing hands. We ask for your will be done. Give peace and strength to the family and help them to continue to see you in the midst of this all. Please give Carol healing, make her breathing return to normal, help her body recover from the stroke, and let her feel your love.

Just an update, Carol has stabilized somewhat, but still not very responsive, can't even sit up when she does wake up a little. She will probably need months of therapy, and no one is sure yet how much she will be able to improve. She will need some miracles for any quality of life. Only time will tell, though. I/we have appreciated all your prayers though. God bless you all.
 
Lord we ask that you are with RosaleeMae tomorrow for her surgery. Guide the Dr.'s as they work on her. Please provide her comfort and quick healing.

I kindly ask for prayer for The Lord to lift me out of my state of despair and to renew me with optimism and hope. I pray that God will make my ostomy transition easier and find the right tools to put this illness into remission so I may once again have strength to follow his righteous path.

Also Lord, please bless NGNG with these same blessings, guided hearts and hands of medical caretakers, and please lift the burden of suffering, especially despair, and give hope and peace to all who read this, and knowledge of your goodness and love. Well second remicade didn't go as well a hour into it she started having a reaction.so we are home, I think they are gonna try it one more time at a slower rate,it wasn't until they raised the drip rate till it happened..anyone else have this problem..my heart is so broken for this poor kid

Lord, we pray for Jessie. Please let the next try of Remicade go well, no reactions and decreased Symptoms! Give her peace and healing from this reaction.

I have read several parents comment on how the infusion rate can cause a reaction. I don't think it is uncommon at all. Once the infusion rate is slowed, things are generally fine.

I will be praying you dear girl gets some relief soon and that all goes well with the next infusion. ((((hugs))))
 
So once again we were at the doctor,they think it is steroids and a combination of dehydration,I swear this kid is gonna make me drink and I don't drink..well we are going to try remicade again next week at a slower drip and in the ICU of the hospital where she can be monitored better
 
I would appreciate prayers and support.Like Joshua, I've begun Remicade infusions. I am having difficulty tapering off hydrocortisone as my colitis is still troublesome. My GI wanted me to start 6-MP but after 3 days on it I felt weak, achey. Not sure what caused that, 6-MP, tapering steroids, or Remicade. I need prayers that the Remicade helps me heal. God bless each and every one of you dealing with these IBD issues. Jesus please bless us one and all. Cease our suffering, have mercy on us Lord. Amen
 
Jes was on 6mp and they took her off to do remicade he says he don't like using the two drugs together,he says he has seen studies of them not being a good combination,but I see a lot of people on this forum doing both,don't get it

With my daughter, they start IV solution first at very slow pace,for half and hour, then remicade at 10, then 20,40, 80 and up until 250. sometimes her blood pressure drops and they have to go slower. I know some of the kids at the clinic are given Benadril before infusion to tolerate remi better.

Hey guys I need a special prayer tonight for my family and me I have Crohn's disease but it's managed right now I thank? But I'm having some pretty scary symptoms right now sinus pressure, extreme fatigue, constant labored breathing, burning pain in mid to upper back, upper abdoman pain that feels like my belly right below my sternem is sinking in, also I'm having really bad depression along with these new symptoms I fear the worse :-( I'm trying to get everything I can in order around the house finishing up old jobs and just making sure my wife and kids have nothing other than me to worry about once I go to the dr to get checked out and get a diagnoses on whats going on with me :-( I'm scared to death to say the least but I know regardless whats wrong with me GOD will provide for my family I'm firmly in HIS will but I would sure like the extra prayers guys thanks

They did pre treat her with Tylenol and Benadryl , I mention the Iv fluids and they said the remicade was already mixed ,but I will mentioned it again she did not have reaction till they got to 180 with the drip so dr said he wasn't go over 150

I ask for help to get through this stage of my disease where I keep having thoughts I would be better off if god would take me, I am on the verge of losing everything if my LTD will not go through. I will know this week. I know I won't do anything to harm myself but I do tell god that it is ok if it is my time. ( not meaning to be selfish). I am just struggling everyday and I thought by now I would have been better. May god bless you all and I pray for all of us every night. I just need some courage! Thank you and may you all feel better soon and may god be with you~

Lord, I ask you that today you be with Jessie. Let her be free from any reactions to her remicade treatment. We ask Lord that you allow this medication to work perfectly in her, and that she experience no side effects. Let her amaze her Dr.'s with the wonderful results.

Happy to say we are home Jessie was able to tolerate the infusion without reactions!!! They kept the drip at 100, next treatment in 4 weeks. Dr said I can start to taper steroids now yayyyy

its four in the am its been 3 days or so that the gas in my stomach has been killing me it goes and comes and im very grateful for the little time of peace I get when the gas isn't bothering me I guess you can also call it flare ups I don't know what else to take other than char col tabs ,gas -x ,pepto-bisbmol benytel for the painfull gas if there is something out there that I haven't tried prescribe or otherwise please let me know there has to be something that will reduce this gas so I can finally get some kind of peace ive had Crohn's since 1976 it was in remission but now the gas has come back to haunt me please help me if u can for now I have been praying every waking minute to god to ease this gas pain so I would really a appreciate u to pray for me as well any kind of help please address is [email protected] write me please I am very desperate for help please pray to my lord for me .
 
I ask all the angels, saints, and our Lord Jesus to give xcotto relief from these terrible symptoms of Crohns disease. It is through this suffering that we are reminded how our Lord suffered for us. Give xcotto strength and healing today we pray. In Jesus name we pray A men.
 
I am praying for you xcotto! This too shall pass. I too have an issue with gas. I wake up in AM with far more gas than normal then usually have urgency to use toilet. I pray you know that you are not alone. Message me anytime if you feel lonely. I will listen. I got my BA in psychology in 2001 so I am happy to listen/support others. :) Praying for the entire world, especially those in need and suffering. Lord have mercy on us. Amen.

Hey all

I ask you to pray for my 4 week old nephew Dylan who is on his way to hospital with suspected bronchitis. Please pray for healing and comfort to his mum Dad and brother.

I pray for all of us that we may find peace and comfort during all our difficult times. Thankyou.
 
Lord please ensure that your healing hands are placed on Dylan and that your loving and comforting presence ascends on his family. We trust in you heavenly father.

Thankyou all, he is at home now with his mum and dad watching him carefully, they did not want him in the hospital longer than absolutely vital as there are a lot of nasty bugs there at the moment. At the hospital, his sats were 92 for a while, so if he gets any worse he will need to go back for oxygen therapy.

I thank you for your support and ask that you keep him in your thoughts, just as I keep you in mine.

I don't know how I would of coped as well without the help of our Lord,I have made many visits to my local chapel and found it a great source of spiritual peace,especially on my bad days,I also will be saying prayers for us all,I believe prayer can help and that I have put myself into the hands of God,he is there for us all,we just need to listen to him and have faith in him,
So dear Lord watch over those who are in need and ease the pain of the suffering

Have you tried omprozole or Zantac both over the counter for gas
 
I will be starting Remicade shortly. Please pray for Remicade to help put me into remission and to heal my fistulas, abscesses and inflammation so that I can have my ileostomy reversed.
 
Dear Father in heaven, we ask for healing as NGNG starts Remicade. Let the medicine clear all the fistulas, abscesses and inflamation so that a symptom free life begins. Give NGNG peace and wisdom as this transpires and keep in your loving arms. Amen
 
Dear God, We boldly come before your throne of Grace on October 20, 2013 and ask that NGNG receive the healing of his body, mind,spirit, his entire gastro intestinal track, his entire colo rectal system, nervous, endocrine and immune systems. Let the Remicade enter his body as a healing elixir, going exactly to where it is needed to provide healing and life. May his immune system gratefully accept this drug as the precise help he needs to end the abscesses, to close the fistulas (as this drug has done for me) and to quell the inflammation. We ask for protection from any and all side effects and risks associated with taking this drug, both now and in the future.
According to John 16:23, Jesus said, "I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My name." I want to pray for my GI doc. I found out this week that he has lymphoma and will be out of the office for the next four months. I set him a text today just to encourage him and I think he was really blessed by it. He is an awesome doctor and he knows a lot about Crohn's. I really don't want to lose him as my GI. :/
 
Lord God please ensure that guitarjamie03's GI is watched over by you and your angels. They are a great doctor and have provided help to guitarjamie and many others in need. Lord, you are the greatest doctor and healer of all. Please see it that this doctor will be blessed and healed of his cancer.
 
Please pray for me. I think I might be going through a flare op right now along with complications from the Remicade. I mean flare up. God bless you all.
 
Prayers going out to the GI doc with lymphoma. Lord, please keep this doctor in the palm of your hands and lighten his load, ensure excellent coverage at his office so he can fully focus on healing himself with your help.

Lord, please help ronroush7 who is beginning to suffer. If s/he needs to talk to his dr and have budesomide or prednisone on hand for weekend flare-ups, please help facilitate this. We ask that this be a very temporary flare perhaps just to make him aware of the stress that got too high. God, wrap him your peaceful embrace. Keep him free from any negative remicade side effects. Thank you, guys. I am about to go to my dermatologist particularly about a place or two on my scalp. My dermatologist hes told me that they ware caused by the Remicade. Pray that she will talk to my GI so they can determine what to do about my medication. Question: In the last two weeks, I have lost control of my bowels three times. Is that a sign of a flare? God bless all of you.:)

Praying for ronroush and all people on this forum. I hope your dermatology appt goes ok today. I saw my derm today and my GI/derm agree I just may need to treat any small, surface infections quickly before they become big deals since I am on Remicade too. I've been prescribed anti-yeast, anti-fungal and antibiotic creams and have learned to recognize the symptoms. I've gotten almost all sugar out of diet, but actually I have dealt with some of this for a couple yrs before Remicade. In fact, I think Remicade has improved the infections overall. And the crohns and psoriasis are both much improved.
I hope the three bm episodes you've had recently are just passing by. And hope derm is able to give you concrete info on your scalp.

The dermatologist gave me a cortisone shot. She is going to talk to my GI about my medicine. If I can't take biologics, what can I do?

May I request a specific prayer for a medicine to treat my diseases, microscopic colitis and celiac. My GI doesn't know if I have refractory celiac. I hope not. I pray to hear God and see Him in my life. I ask Him to enter my soul and bless us ALL with healing. Protect us from all anxiety Lord. I am 34 and have two kids (my pic). I have been in and out of the hospital since Sept. I pray for all GI physicians to steadfast work through the hands and wisdom of Our Almighty Lord.

Being on EN tube feeds hasn't been easy. My son turns two tomorrow and my daughter turns six on the 14th. I'm 11-11-78 baby and wish for my health. God bless you all for reading and lifting me in prayer, if you get the chance.

Lord, please lift paininthebutt out of their sorrow and into the joy that only you can provide. Shine your light upon them and let them be fulfilled through your Holy Spirit. We trust in you and know it will be done.
 
Lord, you know the heart of paininthebutt and you know what he has been through. These health challenges take away so much from us that our worldly life can feel so small. We understand it is by taking up our cross and following Jesus, letting go of all the losses with gratitude that we still have life and acceptance of God's will that we have a chance of getting our lives back. We surrender and we know You are our source. We praise your name, even in the depressed and hopeless moments because we have a Holy Spirit that knows better than how we feel. We have a spirit that we pray rises again like Jesus rose from the dead. We ask to be resurrected and we ask paininthebutt to feel your holy presence enter him where You already abide. You love your children and you are mighty so we thank you for lifting us out of depression and showing us joy. Re-arrange our brain and body chemistries to reflect the love, hope, gratitude and peace that Jesus came to model. Amen
 
Dear Lord help those who ask for healing. This journey is long and our road narrow. Help us to take up this cross and and surrender our burdens to you.
