Some how I have missed a lot of notices as well! @Sandy I glad you are doing better and hope you can heal! @ Christi Prayers for a really good therapy session and some peace. @ Mandy your prayers mean so much! Thank you! @ Optimistic Thank you for your prayers as well! @ Ron I pray that the Entocort helps and you can get a plan that helps you into remission. I also sends prayers for your family and your father for God to guide you through this time.

I am driving to visit a friend over the weekend and early week. Please pray for safe travels and visit. Thanks

I'm still not getting any notifications of anything by email Lyle I used to, and the quick links to subscribed threads only works sporadically, so sorry I keep missing posts. Kit, praying for safe travels. Christi, I hope all went well with therapy. Just remember, you are very loved here! 💛💛💛 Ron, I wish they could figure out how to help you better. Mandy, sweet sis I've never met in person, i hope today is better and warmer for you. It's amazing how much arthritis can affect you, isn't it? (Darned crohn's! ) prayers and hugs for all!

Sandy thanks sis i doubt it will be warmer but at least im off work. So i wont have to go out in it☺. As you may work out its silly o'clock here n iv just woke. Checked my fone n just had to drop in lol😆

My father and his former caretaker both want us to consider moving to Florida. Would you guys pray for our decision?

A lot of times when we say grace, we include special prayer requests during this time. Lately, I have gotten confused about what I have already prayed for. Could this be brain fog?
 
Ron, I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I'll pray for him and for you as you process this.

My bet is your brain fog is from worrying about your health and what is happening with your dad at same time. That is A LOT to deal with and takes up your most of your mindspace.

Ron, ditto about what everybody said about the brain fog. Also, everybody gets a little brain fog now and then. (Giggle giggle, when I just said everybody gets a little brain fog now and then, my text-to-speech made it say a little green frog, and I had to correct that.) Just curious, are you considering moving to Florida? I hope and pray all goes well for you no matter where you are..
 
Before this even came up about my father, we had friends who moved there and wanted us to consider it. I would miss my son if we did.
 
Ron moving is hard, but think about what might be good for your health. I will be honest the thought of moving to me sounds overwhelming and I don't feel like finding new Drs right now. I guess I enjoying familiarity!

Dear Lord be with Ron and help him manage until he can get to his specialist. May you give the specialist wisdom and insight to find a remission route for Ron. Be with Ron and his family as they make decisions about their living situation. Grant them health and peace. In Jesus name, Amen

As this Lent season moves along I am so blessed to have people in my life to support and say prayers for me. Prayers going out to all the people dealing with Crohn's right now. Two of my friends have gotten out of the hospital with Crohn's related issues and are dealing with recovery. I thank God that I am doing well and send healing prayers to the ones continuously dealing with this debilitating disease.

My wife and I are currently trying to conceive. She had a miscarriage in January at 6 weeks (our first pregnancy), and we're giving it another go. Prayers would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Prayers from here as well. My husband and I never had children of our own, so we know all too well the desire to continue a family, although we were never able to have our own children. (I'm convinced now that we were meant to be foster parents for a couple of special needs people with multiple challenges, so that filled our maternal and paternal needs.) Losing a baby must have been horribly hard, I'm so sorry about that. I will keep you and your wife in my prayers and pray that you are able to have your own family. As I've said many times before on this thread and forum, I highly believe in the power of prayer. God bless you for trying to help mold a precious little life (or lives) in this crazy world of ours, it sounds like you are the type of parents this world needs.
 
Ron may God be with you as you get your tests and may the medicine help put you in remission.

I have a major problem. I can't find my bottle of Entocort. I can't afford another one right now. I just got a new bottle recently. Can you all pray?
 
Does that mean you found the Entocort, Ron? That's the little brother to Prednisone, isn't it? Are you taking this in addition to Humira?

No. I didn't find it yet. I believe it is similar to Prednisone. Yes, I am on Humira also.
 
Have you any reason to take it anywhere? in your car, in another room than the normal place you keep it? Have you moved things around, or cleaned up that area recently?
 
Ron just a piece of information. Entocort is one you need to taper off of, so please at least try to get taper off doses so you don't have problems.
 
also call your physician and see if they have samples to help you out until you find your medicine.
 
Thanks everyone. I opened the door where we keep cups and the bottle of Entocort was up there. I don't know what it was doing there but I am glad it was found.

Sometimes we humans just put stuff in weird places. Glad the Entocort was found.

Glad you found the medicine, Ron. Its wierd how things turn up. I once found my TV remote in the refrigerator :D
 
A friend who had a laparoscopic hysterectomy yesterday almost couldn't be revived, BP was dropping and oxygen low, even on oxygen. They had choice of either putting her on a ventilator or giving her narcan to wake her up, which reverses all effects of pain meds, but decided her sleep apnea would probably cause her to die if tried the vent, (her throat must have been narrowing) so narcan it was. Screaming in pain (but better than not breathing) she woke up and had excruciating pain, and muscles spasming for over 11 hours, new pain meds now, of course, not working because of the narcan. When they got her up last night for a walk, all the pain meds hit at once and she collapsed shaking in seizures and hallucinating until she was revived again. Today, thinking things would be getting under control, but now she is bleeding from her incisions and has a blood covered blanket. Haven't heard from them since, wondering if they took her back to surgery. On top of that, it is her birthday and anniversary today, but her hubby stayed home most of day to take care of several kids (including twins) they have, while he is in pain himself from gallbladder attack he had and doc wanted to operate right away because of infection, but they can't have two incapacitated parents (this was even before her complications). He is scheduled for surgery next week. They also have a nephew who is on verge of dying from cancer like illness, and son with muscle disease and another son stung by bee today. They could use prayers.

@Karen prayers for a very short flare and physicians to know good solutions.
 
We were gone most of the day so couldn't post (out of cell phone range), but my friend took a miraculous turn and is much, much better now, without additional surgery we thought she would need. Her husband is still scheduled for his surgery next week which hopefully won't have any complications.
Karen, prayers for your daughter. There is nothing harder for a mother than to watch your children suffer. Prayers for healing and peace for all involved.
 
Father we come to you and ask for healing, peace and wisdom for Ron. Guide him and his physicians to a path of remission. Be with him and his family as they look to you for guidance and peace. Pleas take away his physical symptoms to give him rest. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen
