Romantic meal / Things to avoid Suggestions

Hi there forum,

My Significant other(Girlfriend) of 12 weeks suffers from Crohn's Disease for 4 years.

I'm looking for some guidance regarding Romantic meal recipe so I can cook something nice for her that is suitable or take her out and also looking to find out what type of things to avoid in general day to day cooking.

It is very kind of you that you already being pro-active understanding your partner condition. :thumleft:

However, for your question, it's hard to say since different Crohns patient adopt different diets ... have you had the chance to see what she eats ? If you did, maybe it's better to play it safe and stick to something you know she is OK with.

Another idea is maybe as a casual talk you could ask her if ahe is keeping a special diet due to Crohns ... this way you can still hold the meal as a surprise if that's what you are aiming for.

Most importantly - make her comfortable if she avoids any of the foods or drinks - it may be due to her diet or maybe having a bad day making her extra caution.
