Crohn's Disease Forum

Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

OOH I am having so much fun reading this thread. I have never played this game. Here goes:
1. I love cooking
2. I am a retired Captain for the US Air Force
3. My favorite holiday is Thankgiving

This seems like fun! I'm new around here, but this seems like a good place to start! xD

kimmidwife: I'm going to say #3 is the lie? But #1 does kind of support #3 doesn't it? Hmmm... #2 just seems too badass to be a lie!

Gazza: This is a really tough one... #2? I'm not sure what 'freeman of London' means, but I'll go ahead and guess 2 anyway!

My turn? :)

1. I am 6'5".
2. I am a professional artist who has worked on video games.
3. I was a state champion basketball player in high school.

Hmmm......
I'm going to say #3......

Ok......
1- i'm Allergic to horses
2- I'm allergic to cats
3- I have 4 pets in the house!

MHavoc,
Number one is the lie! I used to love cooking until I married a man who is the most amazing chef. After 20 years of living with him I hate cooking myself because he spoils me rotten with the best food! I love Thanksgiving because it is all about family no presents or any of that stuff. I was in the USAF.

I love games!

MHAVOC - I think you are tall and play basketball --- what are the chances you're an artist who also works on video games? I'm guessing you just play video games and I'm going to say # 2 is a lie!

For me?
1. A ghost chased me out of a cemetery public restroom once by pounding on pipes that were NOT overhead
2. I have my own motorcycle and I recently road "The Dragon" in the Smokies
3. My cat Harley has learned to say my name

Number one was the lie for me. I own a guitar, and started to learn how to play, but gave up since I had no teacher!

1- i'm Allergic to horses
2- I'm allergic to cats
3- I have 4 pets in the house!

I think that number 2 is the lie.

1. I learnt to play the guitar at 3 yrs
2. I played the violin for 8 years
3. I prepared my first three course dinner when I was 10

Hello everyone, what a fun idea!

1. I drove a tank once.

2. I'm a professional ballroom dancer.

3. I used to live in a funeral home.

Loved all the book suggestions. Does anyone else on here like Janet Evanovich books? They are a good lol read. Yay for Lula.

I can relate to the dream comments. Mine are about washrooms:(

Scoobydo - I think #1 is the lie. What are the chances you only drove a tank once? :) If you were in the military, you would drive more than once eh?

Hey MHavoc: #1 is the lie for me, I am a qualified plumber and I have worked in a funeral parlor since leaving school at 16.

I guessing Possibly #2 is your Lie/

Sparkle2012 - Actually number 1 is true. When I was a reporter I did a story about a military base and they let me drive a tank for a few minutes (under strict supervision of course)

Hey again all! This was fun!
Looks like only 1 person got it right. xD

I am 6'5". I am also a professional artist who works on video games.
But... I never played a single game of basketball during high school. :)

Aura: I'm also going to say #3 is the lie?
Scoobydoo: so is #2 the lie?

Is it no. 1 Kirsty???

Hi I did learn to play guitar at 3 although even playing a junior size I had it on the ground so I could strum and do chords - to small to hold it proper.

I did play the violin for 8 years

And I cooked my first three course dinner for my parents when I was 7 years old not 10 - so 3 is the lie. I started cooking at 4 helping mum all the time. My mum was an early childhood teacher - so I had a great early start.

MHavoc: Good guess! I am an amateur, not a professional. And I did actually live in a funeral home! I wonder if you got asked a lot about basketball as a kid?

Aura: Are you still involved in music?

3.When I was young I used to steal money out of my neighbors piggy bank. when she went to the bathroom.

Haha this seems fun! I'm fairly new around here too

1) I once saw Cindy Lauper live at a private gig
2) I've done work on Ken Blocks rally car
3) I accidentally shot myself in the face with a pellet gun when I was younger

That's clever!

LOL, it was pretty funny watching people spend the time trying to pick them up when they don't move and then we watched the janitor kicking at them and trying to scrape them with a flat head screw driver so we busted out laughing and got caught :(

furiousfunker, I really hope number 2 is true. If so, which one?

I'm gonna say 1 is the lie. It would make sense if you named your cat Harley and also rode a motorcycle

Number 1 is true!!! I went to a Halloween event in Charleston SC at a huge civil war era cemetery. The bathrooms were crowded so I went to one which was in the area far away and not open to the public that only the staff knew about. As I planted my rear on the seat the banging pipes began so loudly that I flew out of there like a bat out of hell yanking my slacks up as I ran. I was told later that this is a common occurrence in this particular restroom when a woman enters alone. There were no pipes in that ceiling but I could hear them being banged hard and fast with what sounded like a hammer.

My cat has learned to say a 2 syllable word that sounds pretty clearly like Carol or more like rare-roll. :)

I ride with my husband on his Harley. He won't buy me one.

What is the smallest value coin I would stop and pick up from the street

1. A two pound coin
2. Any coin at all
3. Never pick up a coin / a child might come along who can put it to better use.

Only one of the above is true!

Who me?

Oh! But he was a tight-fisted hand at the grindstone, Scrooge! a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner! Hard and sharp as flint, from which no steel had ever struck out generous fire; secret, and self-contained, and solitary as an oyster.

Is it #2????

Number 3 was the lie, i have not shot myself in the face haha

lol, no #3. I did build a dog house in the basement. In the middle of the winter. Then I had to take it apart and build it again outside in 12 degree weather.

723Crossroads --- 2 must be the lie. It's too far out there. I had to read it twice.

No it's true, they were trying out a houseboat for their honeymoon and the motor failed. They were about to go over the dam and he jumped in and the waters were high and he drowned. She went over the Dam and drowned. Very traumatic when I was 10.
