Like a Welsh summer. Which means sunny and slightly windy. Best weather it's been for the past week or so though!

Adding to this thread broke my dreams last night. I had visions of totally iced over vehicles. obviously very cold and make sure you have the anti-freeze in.

The kind you dont want to go out to walk the dog in. Its only -4C (25F) but the wind makes it feel like -14 (7F). And we are getting more snow.. supposed to get atleast 10cm today. And the plow trucks have not been around yeat. Since they do the roads for cars first.. the walkways can go days with out care.

The forcasters promised "The Beast from the East ie. Russia" turns out it's "The Pest from the West" Very cold 1c, but sunny, icy underfoot. But NO SNOW........yet !!!

Just like here Carol! Stepped out to post the mail and whew it got cold last night! No snow as yet....Put a sweater on Alfie!!!

Sunny and warm all day

I love this weather so much. Usually it rains on me when I have to go to the shop, but today it was just great! Only a few days though before I go back home to freezing Wales.

Had to check you weren't in Bermuda,it's not that bad in Wales is it ?

It's fairly bad in North Wales, because we don't really have any good infrastructure and things. And I live fairly high above sea level, so I'm blasted by wind when it gets windy.

If it snows, you've got to be careful what car you're driving/where you're going. Because there's so many places you'll just get stuck in. Think last year my mum spent about 5 hours in betws-y-coed because the gritters couldn't get down the road and none of the cars could get up it.

Winter before last here, we got snow, a few inches everyday for like two months. Snowiest Winter since I was growing up. It was weird for here. Now this yr. none to speak of yet. What we did get melted quickly. Stay warm Sanni!!!

0 degs but sunny. The low sun at this time of year really stresses me out.I know it's a silly thing to moan about, and we're lucky to have sunshine, but you all know the Brits have a whinging reputation to keep up.......hahaha

Whinge, whinge, whinge, bloody freezin' again, everything frosted over and expecting gale force winds and driving rain. shall enjoy my trip to hospital for my PEG change tomorrow lol.

37 degrees....cloudy...rain on the way

getting colder though, maybe we'll get some snow within the next few weeks. Haven't had a white Christmas since 98

I actually have no clue. My dog is at my moms so I have not been out this morning as I usually do. But looks about the same as it has been for the past couple days. So -4C and clowdy/gloomy and a bit windy too.

Sunny and -5C (29F). Watching the long range forecast from Tuesday to Saturday - it its warm we will have 2-3 inches of rain - if it turns out to be colder we'll get 20 to 30 inches of snow

Hot, hot, hot....

Hot=no clothing=no modesty. Just sayin'

we've spent a couple of winters in Aus. and I remember well, one day it reached 42degs.Thought i was gonna die.Had my feet in the esky and a bag of ice on my head, and there was still steam coming out of my ears.Have to say though it's starting to look inviting now............Grey,damp,muddy,5degs.

blisters and ant bites..........snakes, spiders, sharks, crocs, bush fires and Kylie.Yeh,who wouldn't want to live in Australia:hallo3:

I gues poor Alfie is getting a bath then? I hate that sort of weather. With my Wilho I ned to wash his paws after every outing. "Lucky" for us its still about -6 and I think we got an other couple cm of snow in the past day. So nice clean white paws.. but cold ones.

Yes, K, i got it and laughed. But was wondering about Ontario being french speaking, is it? thought it was just quebec and montreal. There, i know nothing. Course, give it a couple of days and they might not be speaking anything. Guess that would be a different kind of xmas roast!!

wet, damp and surprisingly warm.

You're right Spooky1. In Ontario we mainly speak english but Montreal and Quebec are more french speaking.

It was the only picture I could find at the time though

very wet still, so many flooded roads. Hopefully tomorrows hot weather will dry out the land, lol.:ghug: Still can't see that Nibiru, and to think its supposed to come through my letter box tomorrow. must be the cloud cover here in Britain. Hope you all enjoy your apocolyps parties.:beerchug:

Horrendous !!!!! rained all night and still raining (2-15pm) very windy too.BUT....not as cold as it could be.Wet coats and boots drying for dog walk no.3. Oh,joy hahaha

Windy as all get out and cold, but the snow has not arrived as predicted. They said we should have had 1-3 in. by this morning! What do they really know? Mike said it wouldn't! I'm sure he'll I told you so! He just called and said it is flurrying in the next town over! Maybe a late starter like me!!!:ysmile:

Well the snow arrived. We got 3 inches and there were wrecks everywhere because even tho they have salt stockpiled from last yearthey didn't need, they didn't go out and salt till later!!!! It is flurrying today and in the 33 degree range.

It was supposed to reach 38C (100.4F) today (and did so in Melbourne) but I'm near the ocean so it didn't get quite as hot here.

We have a very pleasant 21/22C (70F) predicted for Christmas day. :)

SUNSHINE..........yabbadabbadoooo,but very strong winds.......I think I hate wind more than rain, but I'll get back to you on that one.

I spent two Christmas Day's in Sydney in hot, hot, hot weather - okay it's not 'traditional', but I loved it and even did the beach thing one of the years. We had fake snow spayed on the windows - all great fun.

This year? Looks like mild and wet in the UK.

44F now.Storm moving in tomorrow. Forecast is for 2 to 5 inches of snow on the valley floor and high of 32 F tomorrow.I hope it does it.Our last chance for a white Christmas.:ghug:
