It's soft and flaky and when it's warmer temps it is heavy and packs really well to make a good snowball! But, when you see it everyday for awhile, it loses it's appeal!
 
Sound like the kids would have a ball !!! We offen talk about going for a white Christmas maybe one day!!
 
Day three of heavy rain and showers,and cold.Lots of floods nationwide,but we are high above the river,so no probs here.Lots of wet coats and boots and dog towels though.
 
it a beautiful 23.5C (74.3) inside my aircondition office. Already 31C (87.80) outside, going for a top of 39C (102.02)

First really hot day for the summer which officially startes on the 1 December.
 
0 degs C early on,than rose to 4degs C. Where's the factor 20 when I need it ?
According to the papers we're in for the coldest winter for 100yrs........but they're not ALWAYS right.At least the rains stopped.

Don't believe them. they said we were going to have alot more snow for nov. and Dec. So far less than an inch. You want to know the weather? Stick your head out the window!!! From My Hubs Grandma!!!:biggrin:
 
Bitter cold here. Typical Irish weather. :'( Add to the fact we had a pretty poo summer to boot. Brother just can't get a break.

well, its much colder but we had sunshine! it lasted a couple of days, now its chilly and grey. supposed to be -20 Scottsma. chill out. i shall get in my freezer to keep warm, lol!
 
Freezing drizzle in the morning and warming up to the 40's and mostly cloudy.
It's going to stay warmer for a few day and their a chance most of our snow will melt.:)
Of course it will, I just bought my kids glove and hats.:rof:

...33C. Hot for us up on the ranges but it could be worse, much of the rest of the state is into the low 40's. Bleh!
 
-2c early on.heavy frost melting where the sun hits.But it's a lovely clear day,and if you keep moving you wont die.

From one extreme to the other: -11 C here this morning with a -20 windchill. Had the first real dusting of snow last night but it melted by the morning

-8C (17F) with clowdy skyes. And about a foot of snow that has not been cleared yeat. It was a snow storm last night. This morning it looked like this.

So pretty much like 95% of days from November-March in Western Washington :rof:

my darling woke me in the early hours to tell me it was snowing (he'll pay for it)but by 7am it was raining and nearly gone.Really sunny again today,and cold of course.
 
but is that really you lol? i too get the layers on, i'd just die if i didn't have at least 4 layers. I've taken to buying over the knee woolly socks this winter.
 
all i'll say is my hubbys told me to "get that off there"I'ts a treat for Robert,'cos he told me the cartoon had to be off by Monday.Anyway I'm retired now........
 
52 degrees. I LOVE it!
Where else other than Michigan USA , in the world can we go from freezing and a foot of snow to 50's and spring jackets with in a week.

bit slippy underfoot with black ice,but very sunny again.Trouble is,it's so low in the sky it dazzles and it's difficult to see.So I have to walk with the sun at my back,or on the shady side of the street........who says the Brits are whingers? haha
 
Yeah Spooky, the winds of living by the coast almost make it not worth the beach! I keep getting blown to bits every time I go outside in the morning. Apart from that, sunny all day. Just wish it wasn't freezing.

And I don't envy you at all Scottsma. As soon as the ice comes out I go back inside and stay inside. Always end up not watching where I'm going and then shocking myself when I find out I'm sliding away.
 
you and Spooky are on the South coast,softies.Come up here and try the invigorating North East coast. Blows the cobwebs away and everything else,if your buttons and zips aren't fastened properly.And your nose runs even if you haven't got a cold haha.
 
Aha, nah you can keep your northern weather! I'll just stick to my occasionally sunny mostly windy weather! Besides, I like looking out my window and seeing cruise ships go past too much to trade it for a.. "refreshing" breeze!
 
Luckily it's about 50 here, as it was our day to take turns ringing the Salvation Army bell outside Walmart. First time I didn't freeze my tushy off!
 
Hi of 46 today. Yesterday it was the ooposite67!!! So nice till the rains came and knocked down a bunch of my Christmas decorations!I take that back, it only went to 36 and it was cold and so cloudy all day! BRRR!:eek:

You were told right. It's freezing. Definitely less windy today than yesterday though.

High chance of snow, hope it doesn't drop. My morning walk to the gym is cold enough already!
 
Not too bad today, but i still got temperature. thats a helpful thing in winter. Never thought i'd compliment my hideous health for a useful side effect lol.

Not too bad here either. Was cold earlier but now it's alright. If it stays like this it won't snow.. I hope.

cold,but the ice has gone.Forcast says blizzards on the way from Russia for next week.......BUT they're not always right.
 
Fairly good day today, not exactly warm but not cold either. Now if I could have this day's weather repeated up until summer that'd be great.

Hope I'm not hit by these blizzards, I need to get home from uni!
 
Cold, gray and windy.
There calling for a foot of snow by Sunday night.
Which means it will be sunny and in the 60's.
 
Ha ha, Scottsma! Beast from the East lol. Well, we had two days of very bad wind, but today its been sunny and not so cold, prob still have a temperature lol.

Morning is quiet and cold at 28 degrees and NO we didn't get a lick of snow! We might have an inch or two by tomorrow.
 
any one would think we were excited kids waiting for the snow !!!!! Dreading it.Cold and blustery,but no sign yet.
 
Well, we gonna get our sunshine over the next few days, but the frosts and cold chilly weather too. Sunshines good, not good enough to maximise vit d, can't go naked now!
 
2C (36F) and cloudy. 10 centimetres (4 inches) of snow and ice pellets on the way tomorrow then going up to 11C (52F) with 2 inches of rain - I just wish it would stay cold
