What is YOUR weather like today??

Still raining every day. Much of central Australia is flooded. In Qld it is the north and West that's flooded. It has been the most active monsoon in years. Congratulations Lynda on being test free for a while. Not for me tho, I have a nephrologist appointment next week. The podiatrist the following week. Then I have the usual run of eye and medical tests to retain my driving license . Then I have a colonoscopy scheduled for April . I am not looking forward to any of it. Ron.

Yesterday turned out to be dangerously windy. 147mph gusts in places and 90 here at the coast, Roofs and gable ends collaped trees fell onto motors and hi-sided vehicles overturned on the motorway. An elderly lady and a 9yr old boy were killed in seperate incidents, A much calmer day today but they reckon there's more on the way

-20C Sunny. A very nice day coming up, I'll be on my skis this afternoon. I am glad you didn't receive any damage from the winds Carol. Ron I have a doctor's appointment this week, although it will be on the phone, but I will mention the changes in my pain under the ribs. Later in the week I have to go to the ostomy clinic for more maintenance for my stoma. Like an old vehicle aging bodies require more servicing which means more doctor calls.

Wow! That's crazy weather, Carol. It's very sad about the innocent lives lost, I can't imagine how the families must feel. I'm hoping there isn't any more trouble like that! We sometimes get gusts upwards of 100kph and that's more than enough for my liking. It was -11c this morning and has risen to -6c under light cloud cover. Take good care friends.

Thanks Chris, wild weather all over the country. There is a monsoon low off the Kimberly coast that dumped over 200 mm on Broome overnight. High temps and bushfires in the south of WA. Major floods and flood damage in SA. Coober pedy in central SA is isolated with major roads washed out right thru the state. To drive to Coober you have to detour 4000 km thru NSW, Qld and NT. Planes have been able to just get in with food deliveries. There are intensive lows off Norfolk island and north Qld. Neither are cyclones YET. There have been continued heavy rain in Qlds gulf country causing floods. In SE Qld we are receiving heavy showers every day and strong SE winds. Sounds like we have angered the weather Gods world wide. Stay safe everyone . Ron.

-12C expecting some snow. By comparison the weather here has been very quiet. While our winters are quiet not the same can be said for the rest of the year. For now I'll take the peaceful weather and the silence of the snow. My nephew sent me a video of his son jumping into a hole cut into the ice of the lake, after taking a sauna, he went in right over his head and it was only -19C outside. My nephew made it in up to his chest and neither one had a towel with them. They ran back up the hill back into the warm cabin which was about a 75 meter run wearing only their under shorts.

Omg, Buff, imagine leaping into the water through an ice hole. I feel sorry for the fish in my pond with just a small layer of ice. Brave blokes, both. I bet they love creating memories. Sounds like they both love cabin life like you. Shame about the screen for the snowmobile. At least you're not hurt and can enjoy skiing instead for the time being.

Carol, i saw some of the weather on the news. Looked a bit bad. Was good washing weather, same today actually. Got all the washing dry in one day. Didn't take long with that wind.

Nice no appt's for Feb Lynda. I have 2 appts this weeks then the dentist. I don't like going out in the cold at all. I really will be looking to wrap up warm. It's expected to be cold the next week. I do prefer to be snug and warm indoors this cold weather.

Good work on keeping the deer out, Chris. You don't need them eating everything in return for their poop. It might be fertilizer but the plants are yours. We only see muntjac deer around here. They're pretty small and harmless but they do dig a bit into the lawns, a bit like the badgers used to.

Ron, fancy a 4,000k detour. Really amazing. Only in Australia! That really is hard luck and actually sad for those almost out of supplies.

The low in the Kimberly has dropped over a half a meter of rain in the last three days. Broome got 80mm in an hour yesterday evening. Perversely the rest of WA is under extreme fire danger with temps in the high 30's except for the SW where Perth is only 32c. The north of SA is expecting another 200 mm on already flooded land. More monsoonal downpours in north Queensland and down the East coast. I have had water come into the flat in the last few weeks Carol. Not enough to cause major problems but the mold is shocking. The humidity in my flat has not been under 75% for two months. I have had to make pillowcases out of towels and wash them every few days. Time to go and get bloods done. A pity they can't do that via telephone. Ron.

A MILD 11C TODAY AND A BIT BREEZY. Nice to dry the washing outdoors.they're still saying snow's on the way by next week. Ron,does that mould not affect your chest ? It certainly would over here.,,,,,,,,I've already posted this elsewhere but thought you cat folk might like it,,,,,,,,Cats are not as loyal as dogs but they don't tell the police where the drugs are

Agreed, Carol, a lovely 12C today, lovely sunshine and i must admit it was strong enough to make me feel the effects of the first day of spring. We're nowhere near that day, but it was so much better and lights went on at 17.12pm tonight so days getting longer too. Today was lovely to be out but what a shame i only went to the tip, charity shop again, and Aldi. There are snowdrops coming up in clumps in the lanes now which is wonderful to see and i have around 100 out at the moment with some more to come up.

That mold sounds like it's too much, and i wish your landlord would pay to make it water tight for you. You can't live well with mold around Ron, and what with your health conditions i really feel for you.

The thought of jumping through the ice into the pond with my fish isn't appealing at all, Chris. But enjoy it.

Brisbanes southern suburbs got hit by a wild supercell yesterday afternoon. Roofs were torn off houses and numerous very large trees were felled. We missed out on the Sunshine coast but we did get to 36c with 83% humidity. It was 27c when i went to bed at 10.30 last night. I checked the humidity in the flat this morning, it was 81%. It is currently 33c and rising. We are expecting a cooler front and wild storms tonight. I'm trying to stay hydrated, Ron.

10c and ok.snow still forecast in a few days,,,,,,,Di, do you have to book a "slot" to use the tip ? It started here during the first lockdown and it's almost impossible to get a booking. It cost us £20 and we had to wait 3 weeks for the council to collect a freezer,Another time I had to list every item we;d cleared from the shed, every stick and mouse dropping. It's no wonder there's a pandemic of fly tipping.

-24C Clear bright sunshine. The only thing effective against mold is to control the interior humidity of the room or building. In that kind of environment along with the heat it would only take a window airconditioner along with a dehumidifier to control and eliminate the mold in a small flat. It would also help if the landlord would take responsibility for the leaks in the building. That kind of heat and humidity would kill me even without the mold. The neighbor and I went for a snowmobile ride when the cold front pushed through, the blowing snow was impressive to watch, but as the temperature plunged it was time to head back. It was a good afternoon.

Not too bad, quite warm considering. Got plenty of sorting done today along with starting a new short course on the internet which i do every so often. I've got three days out on the trot for the rest of the week. Hospital tomorrow for results and treatment plan (i expect), Doctors and hair Friday, and a trip to London Museums on Saturday. Looking forwards to the last, the others just state the state of me at the mo. No too healthy and a tad shabby. I don;t think i could cope with that humidity, Ron. Do take care, don't let it get to the heart or bp. Stay safe all.

Carol, no we just turn up at the tip, but it's £25 (up from £16) to have 3 items removed from premises or take it to the tip ourselves. No, they don't care what we tip unless it's illegal. What on earth are they doing with you lot up there over rubbish? Sounds like a right jobsworth! You've made me laugh at them though.

In April the numbers of deaths and new hospital admissions due to covid are no longer going to shared with the public. It's going to be treated like flu or the common cold and we just have to live with it,Yesterday 536 deaths were reported !!!,,,,,,,,10c and cloudy today but snow still forecast

-32C Brilliant sunshine under cobalt blue skies. It was cracking cold last night, but the house was as warm as a nest. I'll take a ski later. I don't know what it is about government and garbage, that is their job but they still ask for tipping fees despite the tax burden. Our dump was closed down over 25 years ago leaving us with few options. I take my recyclables in to a free drop off which accounts for 90% of my waste. The other is kitchen waste, I take one small grocery bag's worth and simply drop it into the garbage containers found outside of the big stores. For large items of garbage I have to drive a long ways to a municipal dumpsite and pay a hefty fee.

Wide spread storms last night. The front spread from the Gold coast to wide bay. It dumped a lot of rain and caused local flooding in several areas including Eumundi just north of us. Humidity overnight was in the high eighties. Storms have been forecast for most afternoons this week. Over half the people we are seeing dying of covid are in aged care. Ron

Doesn't sound good, Ron. That's a bit close to you really. Hope you're not too badly affected in your locality. Here, i've awoken to snowfall. It's obviously not started long, but it's supposed to be north of the borders! Must say the birds are grabbing the food fast this cold morning. I've to nip to the doc's this morning then i'm in until tomorrow when i take a trip to London museums. I bet they're heaving. |It's first day of school holidays with cold weather. I'm in for a treat of screaming children i think. Never mind.

Rain and floods over most of the NW of WA ,SA , central and northern Qld. The only place not flooded is the SW of WA and it is on fire. Temp in Perth yesterday was 42c. We have a slight reprieve from the heat and humidity with a 80kph southerly front coming thru yesterday. Returning to hot and humid by monday . It is only a couple of weeks till the end of summer but that means stuff all in Australia. Our weather no longer plays by the rules. Ron.

-22C a flurry. I was soar after getting maintenance done on my stoma, I had a lot of nodules burned off, they grow back faster the older one gets, so I have to get it done once a month. Going two months is too long. Its hard to believe that spring is just over a month away. I am not ready for it, when the snow goes its back to cutting firewood, and then there are the uncertainties of the fire season and biting flies soon follow.

Does sound rough, doesn't it Buff? No snow soon, and Ron has summer just a couple of weeks away. I hope our spring arrives soon too. I have noticed the mornings getting lighter too. The birds will be singing their hearts out for a mate soon. I'm looking forwards to that too. Really enjoyed The V & A museum in London. Wasn't busy like the Natural History one. A really nice day out that i wish i had more of, but hey, it's still cold. Was sunny though. Carol, i'm trying to get back into shape to keep healthy, but i'm waiting to see if i die first, rofl.

Another sunny day here in the UK. Sunnier than summers at the moment. We don't often have days of such sunshine. It's certainly keeping me cheerful at the moment. I don't even have heating on at present either. It's probably the sort of day that would suit Ron right down to the ground. Wish you were here Ron.

Plenty of showers and wind ,temps in the high 20's low 30's. Floods starting to recede in central Australia. Homes and property lost in three bushfires burning east and south east of Perth. Cooler weather and light rain helping fire fighters getting control of the fires. Temps in Perth have dropped from 42c last week to 24 c today. Ron.

Back up to 30c+ by midweek. More rain coming by Friday. Our land lord has decided not to mow the awns anymore. They didn't bother to tell us. When the grass got to knee height I decided for my own sake to do something about it. I bought a line trimmer and did my lawn yesterday. It wasn't my best decision . I finished up very light headed and a with a bad backache. Too bad if I get sick ,my gp has covid and my nephrologist is only doing telehealth. My GP sent me some e-scripts yesterday and strongly advised me not to go anywhere near the medical centre. Ron.

Quite cold today and definitely some heating on. No rain but no sun either. Sorry about the situation Ron. I'm lucky enough to have my neighbour do my lawn for me. It would be awkward as my front lawn is very sloped. But i don't have to mow yet as I've got all my snowdrops blooming all over it.

I've got a dilemma. The hospital keep harassing me to go get my yearly 'Very High Risk Breast Cancer Screening'. They phone me up each year telling me how concerned they are that i don't turn up for them. They're so bloody concerned they let me get cancer in the first place with no preventative. So i had a go at them on the phone again yesterday and I've got a slight hunch they're gonna spike my bloody chemo which i'm supposed to be restarting this month. God, i'm so bloody angry at them! I'd really like a different hospital but the situation with hospitals is very difficult with 13 million needing medical appointments. I wish there was an alternative to work. Oh well. Guess i'll have to have a chat with GP. Stay safe everyone.

Another fine blustery day.It still doesn't look like I'll be wearing the new fur lined snow boots I bought back in November,I wonder if I can find the receipt ? Bet your life I'll snow on the way home with a refund in my pocket,
Did you realise that if you're sitting on the toilet at 11-59pm and the clock strikes midnight,it's still same sh*t different day ?

-8C flurries. I went to see the dermatologist for maintenance of my forehead freezing off the peeling precancerous skin problems using the nitrogen. The roads were horrible with all the salt spread on the roads, and I could hardly see anything for the dirty spray, and the wiper fluid would not spray. I was tired by the time I got home. I too hate those weed whackers and brush saws, they create back pain and are hard on my abdomen. The landlord should get a couple of goats, they will keep the lawn mowed. Carol I can relate to your frustrations with the medical system, ours is not any better. The waiting times are long enough to become death sentances for many older people.

We have another cyclone out in the Coral sea. It is not expected to impact the mainland except for increased swell . It will cause Norfolk island a few problems. Very warm in WA again with 38c in Perth and 40c in Kalgoorlie . Extreme to severe fire danger for large areas of the state. 32c in my area today. Ron.

Partially sunny again today. Not too cold. We're one third through February already. The rest of the month will do a vanishing act i hope. I do like these two months out of the way as quick as poss. I like to get into March and into Spring too. I have a few more crocus up and some more primroses too. Daffs have heads on already so i hope the big freeze doesn't happen this winter.

That's amazing temps, Chris. We have had a wonderful sunny phase. Never happens in summer though. It's not that chilly out either. I've got nothing planned but all next week is tied up. Let's hope the weather remains good. Have to keep the mask on for a bit due to the cancer and starting chemo too. Shame. Never mind. Let's see what the next 6 months of chemo bring. Though it is only life extending. Also i won't lose my hair and only have chemo 1 x 4 weekly. Not looking forward to leg pains.

Still flat out of words, but wanted to check in

im not sure if it’s okay to post pictures here, but the pic tells the tale better than I could in words anyway

I can remove it if it’s a faux paw

ps; welcome back Carol !
... so happy to hear you and your husband are well, we all missed you!197E839F-4E83-458E-BA60-41E1BB536002.jpeg

T-bone, i see what you mean by the dog taking himself for a few day walk if he wants, lol. Big country. Gorgeous, both sky and dog. Pics are allowed and we like to see them. Mainly we're all non-techie though lol. Buff wasn't about yesterday i see, think he had an appointment, i hope at least. He's normally very solid in responding.

Lovely and sunny again, not too cold. Managing to keep the gas use down with heating. Bought a weighted blanket for the bed, i love it! Also got a lovely throw that i wear as a shawl, and i'm better with leggins under the jeans too. I'll defeat the companies and they're hoping to put prices up by around 50% in April too. I don't use my tumble dryer now and have managed to cut back so that there is only a small price rise.

Thankyou T-bone,that's very kind of you. What a gorgeous picture and a beautiful Lab,,,,Like Di, says we, or at least me and her, are not good with tech, but I think Di's better the I am, I'm in the middle of a battle with my family doctors surgery because I just cannot access my online repeat script section. Long story and I'm to fed up with it all to explain. It's the wrong thread for a vent in any case........Cold and windy and grey today but we managed a walk along the river. But we were both happy to get home and slob out.

-32C Bright sunshine. It was a busy day yesterday, so I didn't have the time to stop in. Nice picture and the dog, and quite the big country sky there T-bone. We are in a cold snap, and I had to shovel out another 15 cms of snow that came with the cold front. I have heard from others that many have had some crazy heating bills so far this winter; several thousand dollars for some. I've been sheltered from this with heating with wood, and have not bought any furnace oil yet this winter. Nor do I want to with the prices they charge and having a government intent upon raising carbon taxes at a time of record prices and inflation.

Still getting showers most days with weather patterns not seen for years. The monsoon is still active in the north and west of the country. Fires are still a problem over in the west. We have storms forecast for most of next week. The cyclone in the coral sea has slipped south into the Tasman sea and is heading for the north island of New Zealand. Ron.

Summer seems to be over for now and we have rain. I suppose all the flowers i'm admiring already need some water so i shouldn't complain. Think the birds were getting thirsty too. So it's wet, overcast and not too chilly. Not the 13C we achieved yesterday in the sun. Sad you have awful spring/summer/autumn Ron. Sounds dreadful still.

-35C under cobalt blue skies and brilliant sunshine. A beautiful morning after a cracking cold night. The house is warm as a nest. I got quite a work out skiing yesterday as the snow has become very deep from the snowfalls of late. Its been a wide steady winter.

Wet wet wet and some.Been to the dentist and had some work done at last. This goes back to mid Nov and what with lock downs and our Covid attack and gut problems I eventually got there.I was really sick this morning and was up at 6am to be sure to make my 8-50am apt, I almost came home though.Last apt. tomorrow PM thankfully.......

Rain and storms in the east of the country . Storms and another heatwave in the west. Perth ,the WA capital is in the SW of the state but it has regularly been in the high 30c low 40 c for much of the summer. This has been due to the wind direction of the fronts passing the south of the country. The wind has been blowing from the east and north and dragging heat from the center of Australia into the SW and along with the wind comes billions of annoying little flies, not fun. Ron.

Raining again. A couple of storms are due to blow through up north, don't think we'll catch it at all. It's the first real nasty winter weather of the winter and it is dark and gloomy out again, but i do feel better for having some sunshine when we had it. Shouldn't complain as it's mild. No ice and snow although perhaps some snow later this week. Carol will catch it all though. I'm sure she'll be delighted and go for a nice cycle. Keep warm up north, big coats on now!

-18C cloudy expecting more snow. Yesterday got long, I went in for an ultrasound of my gallbladder and liver. I wonder if they will find the cause of the pain finally. The only issue is that I have had little pain in that area lately. Its like taking the truck to the repair shop only for it to not make that weird noise when the mechanic takes a look at it. I had many stops to make, and was glad to get home.

Hey just wanted to start a new thread about the weather in your area because there has been significant changes throughout the world. I love to learn about the weather temps in different parts of the world.

It is winter time now  since the middle of January now is cold it has not being near the temperatures for the Northwest of Ontario. Today is -14c but feels like -26c...still far below the colder temps!

Show us your weather!:ycool:

We had a warm up today in WNC. Hit 50 degrees and daffodils are about to bloom!☀️ Heading out in AM for my Stelara infusion-Crohn’s. Hope to hear from others on their experience with this biologic. Take care!

Sunny again here. Loving it. Got the washing on the line now and blowing beautifully. don't suppose Carol can say the same, i think it's stormy and snowy up there. Just got a call from MacMillan nurse. Chemo cancelled for Tuesday. Gonna talk to a surgeon instead. Ca-125 has reduced by 1 number having stayed at 39 for 3 weeks. It's at 38 and my god, i'm gonna get my numbers down and challenge all over again rather than surgery and chemo. I've got a bit of extra time to try alternatives. Shame the Crohns hates alternatives.

Two storms on the way. Dudley) this afternoon until early tomorrow morning.High winds etc. Then Eunice on Friday. They're saying it'll be the worst for decades with 90+ mph gales and snow. It's a pity as there was to be a music, light and fire show at the park over the road, but It's not as important as peoples lives and property. Some damage is still not sorted after the gales a few weeks back

Temps in the high 30'c in most of WA with high to severe fire danger. Repairs have finally been made to SA rail infrastructure nearly 4 weeks after severe flooding caused massive damage.. We have two days of fine weather before rains and storms return on the weekend. There was a shocking Great white attack on one of Sydney's northern beaches yesterday. The attack occurred during the day and was witnessed by many beach goers and rock fishermen. The shark was identified as a 4.5 meter great white and the swimmer died instantly. several human remains were retrieved by a police boats and jet skis, a very traumatic event. Ron.

sunny and blustery so far,but the forecast for tomorrow is serious.Sometimes I think they err on the side of caution then if it's not as bad as they said it could be we've nothing to complain about...we can only hope.We had a walk over to the park and they're still faffing on with the construction on the light and sound festival stages !!!!!

A band of severe storms passed through Sydney and the central coast of NSW last night. Nearly all of Wa is under severe to extreme fire danger today with 40c temps common from Perth to the Kimberly. We are looking at fine weather today and tomorrow in Qld then a week of showers and storms with temps in western Qld getting to 40c. Ron.

The wind is finally getting up now. Expecting around 60-80mph here. Hoping you're safe up there Carol. Think the Millennium Dome in London has lost part of its roof. Trees are coming down down in the west country and floods are expected with a high tide in the Bristol area. No rain here so far but the wind is causing a few issues with flights landing. Actually it's not too cold out despite the wind. I'm staying in. Stay safe all. Enjoy that chimney, Buff. I got central heating. Not getting soot all over me thank goodness.

Ron, is all ok??? I'm a little worried. We know how awful it is down there for you and we do get concerned. Hope you don't have Covid. Let us know what's wrong if poss, please? We do care.

Didn't get to hospital appt today, Crohns diabolical. We all know what it's like not getting out the house. Well, it's another of those days. Mind, it is absolutely bleak out there today. No real wind but rain and cold and rather gloomy. I'm not a gloomy weather person, but i am gloomy sometimes. My gloomy and the weather gloomy call for a peaceful day in.

I am fine thanks . Just another stinking hot day of 30c + with insanely high humidity. I am a bit like you we are having to deal with skyrocketing fuel prices. Same with food prices (if you can find any on the shelves) Health costs have risen as have rents and availability of rental properties. People are getting sick of living in the southern capitals ,so they are moving north and buying everything in sight. The best way to die of covid in Australia is to move into a nursing home. All the while , the government does nothing except to lie and they do that badly. To cap all of that off there is nothing to watch on tv but a bunch of athletes trying not to get killed whilst trying perform their sports in the midst of a Chinese blizzard . Like I said ,I am fine ,it's the rest of the world that's mad.Cheers, Ron.

Ah Ron, Join the club my friend.I did have a little laugh 'cos you sound just like a whinging Pom.But everything you said is the same here except the present weather, Up here i our neck of the woods we have escaped the worst of the storms.Mind you,it's just our little area for some reason. We've been surrounded by chaos and upset, one of them being a power line collapsed onto a kennels electrocuting 13 dogs,Today is really nice and sunny after a dull start. But the Light and Music show at the park was cancelled but that's no biggy with the state of things.......Ron.you haven't mentioned boats or fishing in a while,Is it too much bother for you now ?.......Life has a way of creeping up on us eh ?

-24C Clear and bright. Ron you are not alone, our country is in the same boat, the only difference is that its winter. I am thankful for wood heat, people are paying thousands of dollars for heating fuels, and electricity is worse. Every week when I check the grocery receipt the prices of foods keep going up. We have a federal government that is ignoring its people, and they are going to ratchet up their carbon tax again in April. Other than that, I am doing okay, the chimney cleaning went about as well as it could, I didn't have those lightheaded feel like fainting spells when I have to bend over to assemble and then disassemble the brush rods and clean up, which is the worst part of the job. More snow is on the way, I'll be glad when the crew shows up next week to clear the snow pack from the roof.

I feel for you Ron. There were plenty of videos predicting all of the food shortages a couple of years back. China has 50% of all the worlds grains stored and buys up much more. Mind, they still can't feed their own. It's sad Aus is suffering so badly, but your lockdown was quite hard on everyone and it's the same here. We are coming out of the pandemic to a different society. All costs will continue to go up to pay for all this cost of pandemic. It's a right bloody nightmare. I feel for all peoples, although Africa has hardly seen a jab and is doing better than anywhere else and hasn't had it's economy impacted. My opinion on the world govts doesn't need mentioning. Of course they don't care, the party season is theirs to enjoy.

Wet, blustery, 12C which isn't too bad. So sad about the dogs, Carol. I hadn't heard that, but it's so sad.

-10C with another 20+ cms of snow. Perhaps its a good thing we have the snow now before the crew comes to shovel my roof, but the snow is getting very deep now. I'll have to get the snow rake from the cabin and use it to clear the sheds before they cave in from the weight. Its getting to be a bit much at times, but where else can I live that I could afford that would provide me with the privacy and comfort I have here, its been 38 years living here. Living anywhere else will burn through any savings that I have, my pension can barely support me where I live now, and the inflationary pressure is only going to get worse. Its a stark world that we are staring at post covid.

Sounds diabolical, Buff. I have always fancied living off grid and creating my own dwelling. There's loads of videos on youtube where other off griders share knowledge. I do think you have it almost next to nature where you are Buff. Sincerely hope you don't have to move off to suburbia.

No one announced the mega high winds and hail and rain that's battering away at everything outside. Which storm this is i have no idea. Not sure it's supposed to be here though. Didn't have this with Dudley and Eunice. Strange.

Just been to the pathologists for the first of three tests . My nephrologist blindsided me a couple of weeks ago when he told me to stop taking cyclosporine. I have been on it for six years to treat nephrotic syndrome. I asked if it was wise to go off it considering that it has been working with very few side effects. He said it probably isn't wise. I asked why he was doing it. He said he wanted to see what would happen. He did not wean me off it , he just stopped it. He obviously forgot that one of the side effects it caused was elevated blood pressure. Since I stopped my BP has fallen. I have had one fall (stood up too quickly) . None of my BP meds are designed to be cut in two, so i am not very happy. Be careful with the snow on the roof Buff. Ron.

-27C Overcast. Ron I don't like it when doctors want to do experiments on us, for we know our bodies better than they do. I hope you have some extra supply of the medication in case there is a problem during the taper. It took me a long time to dig out from the latest snowfall. There was over 20 cms and the snowbanks are getting very high, making it hard to pile the snow. Today will be an easier day, and hopefully tomorrow the crew will come out to clear the roof.

That's what happens in the UK too, Ron. they do it with meds like sleep meds, just cut them off, no weaning. Terrible. Sincerely hope you're ok. What a stupid doc.

Storm Franklin must have been last night. Wasn't expecting it. Quite cold and windy out. Didn't get to onc appt, crohns awful. I restart chemo on 1st. Todays appt was to discuss surgery or chemo. Seems they've decided for me. The crocus i planted for my cat are starting to flower and the heads on the daffs are getting bigger. I cheated and bought myself some daffs for the house. Cheer me up spring flowers. Hope you don't get completely blocked in with snow, Buff.
