What is YOUR weather like today??

Crohn's Disease Forum

Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

dark, gloomy, very windy and heavy showers. to continue tomorrow and its almost hundred miles round journey for mri scan for me. Where did summer go? ok, who nicked it? the wind blew away my parasol and brought me a brolly. typical british weather.

i love thunderstorms, we rarely get them, although drizzle and fog are regularly engulfing us on the coast here.

We have had more thunderstorms this year than I ever remember before in my life. Something spooky going on there. Some say Nibiru causing them. What is your weather like? Normal or very abnormal like ours?:ywow:

Hey Spooky - lighten up or we will drag you over to the 'Last One Wins' thread - where all us crazies hang out.

Saturday will be cloudy but 30c
AH HA!!! so you admit to being in the Loonies. Can you please post that on Last one wins,so they can all enjoy it

Raining here and cool, but going to be a WARM weekend. UGH !!!!!

No, i can't lighten up at all now, Robert. Drove 48 miles to hospital. just as i got there it bucketed down like niagra falls. i got drowned and then i had to take all my very wet clothes off and stuff them in a tiny locker whilst i had a 1 hour scan. put back on thoroughly wet clothes and spew litre and half of ghastly fluids everywhere. still puking and tonnes of D. Tomorrow will be better though, i'm sure.

Poor Spooky - You think - well it could've been worse - well no actually it couldn't. Still it will be a fantastic sunny day today around 30c. BBQ and cigars for me

no, tis remarkably overcast and not overly warm either. humid more like. good news, bone density not too bad, bad news tis joints and connective tissues lol. ho hum, but at least i won't be breaking as i trip up the liquid feed pump. will see specialist on wednesday but not sure how long for him to get mri images through. Can't believe you got good weather up there. its definitely blustery cornwall down here.

Today is to be 75 and partly sunny. A little muggy though. Can
t have the perfect weather I guess, but close...:yfrown:

Spooky, Wet clothes, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............

Robert, Barbeque sounds nice! (If only my stomach could handle it...)

Today is supposed to be 81 degrees with isolated thunder showers.

I had a salmon burger - it was fantastic !

Should be around 30c - 31c here today - so touching 90f. In the UK we are not prepared for these temperatures - we go straight from 60's / 70's f up to mid 80's - I just ignore ignore the fact sun and Azathioprine do not go together.

Hi Robert,[
Hubby's supposed to help me get a photo up today. We have a security lock on our computer because he has a website for his photography.:ybiggrin:/I]

Finally got a picture but the size was too big. When we adjusted it, it came out blurry. But on my personal forum, it is fine????:ysmile:

:rosette1:Sunny so far and to be in the upper 70's. That usually means 80's. They are always wrong. Just ask naturelover. She lives in America too. My hubby's gram used to say,"If you want to know what the weather is, stick your head out the window"! How true...

Well, it's one in the morning and we've had rain. What a pain! Literally! It's just like 723 said, the weather person always gets it wrong.

723, even my son gets it wrong and he stuck his head out the window. He told me it was chilly. WRONG! It was bloody humid!:voodoo:

Hi! I hate humidity too, we gals all seem to be that way. I see some sun peaking through here. To be in the upper 70's (LOL) again today. We shall see!

*! today, the sun is sooo hot! Especially after cleaning and you come out all sweaty and get in a hot car. So lovely indeed.:hallo3:

No that's rubbish - it's more like....

'The boy stood on the burning deck'

Try again

The boy stood on the burning deck
we all shouted what the heck
Isn't that Robert over there on fire?
Yes Carol replied, throw him a tire!
Too late I cried, he broke his neck!!!:ylol2::dance:

:eek:I think I rained on Robert's parade.
Carol you're gonna have to calm him down for me. You're good with him:sign0085: Talk later!!!

HOT!!!!! 86 and muggy. Sun is brightly shining on me and feels like a burn from the grill! I char nicely when I'm out for 25 min. You know us red heads!:soledance:

83 today and muggy again. Can't wait for Autumn. Love the cooler weather!!!

me too.I walk faster,my mind is clear and the sun doesn't shine through the windows so often and show the dusty surfaces. Also I love boots and fleece jackets rather than sandals and blouses. And I love to snuggle down in the evening with candles and a cosy throw.ROLL ON !!!!!!!

It's dark outside. Chilly inside. Haven't a clue about outside. Snicker, snicker.

I prefer sandals and t-shirts along with a warm sun shining down on me. Not looking forward to chilly, breezy weather. It hurts me. RSD bizarre symptoms.

Haaaaa, haaaaa, haaaaa! DustyKat's avatar is an outdoor lav. Now I see it! I was wondering what the heck the new avatar was. Been spending too much time there lately DustyKat? Guess what? I'm sitting in the indoor lav right now! Haaaaa, haaaaa, haaaa! Haven't gone since this past Thursday, so... spending today in the indoor lav.:boring: :stinks: :poo:

It's dark, windy, raining and thundering outside. Perfect day for the indoor lav wouldn't you say?:ylol2:

 Mwah! Have a great day everyone!

No Dusty would not join us lot - she is too high brow

Obviously, Robert, anyone who would have an outdoor lav as an avatar is not too high brow. Just be patient. DustyKat should be along sometime soon to put you back in your place.

Weather: Rain and thunder has stopped. It's now wet and muddy outside. Anyone up for a mud pie fight?:ywow:

:dance:Awesome DustyKat! Robert's not going to know what hit him. LOL! Slip over to the Last One Wins forum and you'll see what's going on. You can join the rest of us ladies. It will be a hoot! See ya soon...

Good morning everyone...beautiful sunny warm day in Queensland Australia, the hint of Spring is in the air! Hope you all have a great day!

@ Dusty, I see you are from NSW as am I!!

Why thank you very much farmerswifey!

It goes without saying that all the good people come from NSW!

UK late summer public holiday weather - mild, cloudy a little rain possible - Yep that would be about right then

Same as yesterday. 80's with a chance of rain. Just doing laundry anyway and not going out, so I too could care less.:boring:

gloomy today. expecting heavy rain too. its already been raining through the night. we often have nice weather once the kids are back to school. so, roll on September, then xmas of course, lol.

Missed your posts Spooky, hope you are well.Miserable today, rain. As you say, usually fine when school term starts so roll on.We are going to the Highlands next week.

Och aye! Dinna ye be lookin' up those kilts lassie!

Fine and sunny, 24C and the ocean fair glistening! :)

Don't diss haggis, I've missed it.

Weather in Southern Sweden looks like it should do all summer, if there was any justice in the world. White wisps of cloud on light-blue sky and the sun shining triumphantly through the open door to the porch. A day for gin and Grateful Dead if ever there was one.

Muggy, overcast, with temps supposedly topping out at 82f. Real feel is 86f. Ugghhh!!!! Cooler weather would be great!

has the pup in your avatar got a cool, wet towel on his head?I always do that for mine, not that we get that much hot weather. Our present dog has a childs paddling pool that he absolutely loves.Plays in it for hours, then wants to pee for hours afterwards.

Sunny and warm out side. Colder than an Alaskan winter inside the doc's office. Brrr.... I'm still trying to thaw out.

Get some sleep for me too Karen. I could use a little catching up on sleep.

We've had chilly sleepin weather the past few nights that's going to continue for the next few nights. Time to turn on the electric mattress pad AND the electric blanket throw! Yawnnn....
