What is YOUR weather like today??

30 degrees in the sun! Wow! So gorgeous. I had a blast working in my community garden plot and taking my bike out for a spin this evening.

20 to 22 Celsuis and sunny Saturday, yesterday and today - all in all a great long holiday weekend - had a birthday party for my little guy yesterday and did a whack of yard work today

Whats the point of living in Greece if it is ALWAYS raining! Its practically been raining non-stop since March. Today the temp is bellow 20C and its raining AGAIN. My grass is taller than my kids, my roses are dying from the heavy rain and I found three dead baby birds in my yard which were flushed from our roof due to last nights storm.

blech is it summer yet?

18C a bit cloudy but the sun breaks through every now and again. It was only last week we had torrential rain and hailstones ...... damn you bi-polar weather of Eire.

The weather here has been fantastic, mostly all sunny days since last week. Sunday was perfect for my daughter's graduation outside and the cookout afterward.

Grey and drizzly, on and off since lunchtime. A sneaky clap of loud thunder close by made me AND the dog jump just now.

Sunny (once the fog burnt off) 23 deg. C (74F) here now with a nice breeze - great weather for the Canada Day long weekend

well, this is Britain calling, its bloody freezing, around 12 degrees celcius and windy with heavy showers. i bet you guessed that though?

any chance i can get over to america and use your loo? or are you too busy on it yourselves? i could really do with some proper summer weather. i can't believe the nhs in britain doesn't pay for a dose of sun lol.

Spooky, you can use my loo whenever. I have friends that very recently moved back to Aberdeen. The stories about the rain and cold make me shiver to my toes! Not much sunshine here the last few days though. It rained most of Friday and Saturday with scattered showers Sunday. No thunder and lightning just rain and the steamy heat that goes along with it.

High 90s, and humid. Which is fun - considering the crazy storm that came through Friday knocked a ridiculous amount of trees onto the power lines, so most people have no power. :(

Britain in July. Overcast,showers.............oh.,it's too depressing to talk about. But like the rest of the world we're having freak weather and we're luckier than some.We could be complaining about the heat very soon, and I'll be out in front.I HATE IT.

Not for me at all,my brain goes to mush, energy levels drop, can't sleep.Don't know how you can work in it Cheryl.

We can dream Spooky - I am old enough to remember a summer when we had three back to back hot sunny days

When you look back it was always sunny.During the school hols we were out every day all day.But I thinks thats because it's nicer to remember the good days. And why not:sun::sun::sun:

Hot and sunny 2deg---Nigara Peninsula.
Was at the Niagara Falls to day with some young relatives visiting from England.
They just love the sun----and no rain!!!

I lived in upstate NY for several years. We didn't have much in the way of money at the time as we were young, newly married and WAY poor but we did get to see The Falls. Both sides. Spectacular! I hope your friends enjoyed the view as well as the sun!

Sunny and cool about 8 deg C with a bit of wind.....had a big rolling earthquake in the nite..shake shake....:dance:

Thu derstorms here also. We have had rain just about everyday for three weeks now. Not all day just at some point in the day. Last year we had NO rain from March until early October (can you say wildfires, children?) and this year we are way over in rainfall. Crazy!

That is one of the weather things I haven't been through, thank goodness! Earthquakes (or the idea of them I suppose) freak me out! I've been through 5 day blizzards, tornados, wind storms, hail storms, dust storms, hurricanes, floods and yes, invasion of the crickets/grasshoppers (anyone living in Texas has been through that creepiness). But earthquakes??? SHIVER!

Hope all is well there though.

No damage...in my part of the world.....New Zealand has had a bad run of earthquakes in recent years.....our 3rd largest city was damage quite badly several years ago, and the city is still been shaken, hence a delay in rebuilding....we get the usual summer winter fare though.....and tornados but not like those in the US.....being a small land mass surrounded by large expanses of water anything we get is brief such as storms snow hail .......and temps are:: never to hot or too cold.......the weather is the weather what ever the weather is...............as to earthquakes.....stay calm said the weatherman :yoshijumpjoy::sheep::basketball:

Oh, yeah....stay calm. I betcha lots of people that aren't Crohnies have to check their shorts after a trembler!

Y'all have wicked cyclones. New Zealand has been put through the wringer that passed few years.

You're right: don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes!

yes, i loved summer of 75 76 and 77. i got sunstroke even, but was great weather, if only it could happen again.

hope all in NZ are okay after that earthquake!

rain, much cloud cover and rather chilly here in Cornwall

:cheerss:We are a stoic lot here in the shaky isles...1000's of them every year.(that is earthquakes)..not that they are all felt...its the big ones that stirs the imagination as to what may or may not happen...like buildings falling down... the earth shifting...Where I live there is also a dormant volcano all covered in snow at present... the earthquake was under that last nite...now that is the worry.....perhaps it will rumble tonite:dance: or even tomorrow...or perhaps never....keeps the blood flowing I say........thanks for you concern...

Deep shock.......................it's sunny.......................hang on I had better double check that

As per our usual (for the last few weeks anyway), it's sunny and hot, hot, hot already this morning. Stupid heatwave!

Nice day BUT heavy rain on the way.hoping to get away for a few days next week,so hope it dries up.warm and wet NOOOOO,cool and dry YES PLEASE>

Hot, High in the mid 90F today. The state of Utah is still on fire. Higher humidity today.(yeah). Thunderstorms this afternoon. People are saying yeah for rain, but these storms are hit and miss, and they bring lightening, which can start more fires.

Robert must have started on the cocktails already, miserable weather, grey skies and showers, muggy/humid. Temperate in Derriford Hospital lol

But Spooky you know it is always wild weather down your way - all those pirates coming to grief on the rocks. It really has been a glorious day here (I am in Kent today).

No!!!! that's just not fair, we want good weather. So do the millions of tourists that are starting to venture here. But yes the north coast of cornwall is particularly windy

You're right - my childhood holidays were spent at my Aunt's B&B at Porth Beach and I only remember endless sunshine.

Weather Update. We have had an incredible break in the weather today. Instead of thunderstorms we have a great general rain. 63F. The best thing that could of happened for helping put our fires out. This is a blessing.

I understand about wild fires. Last year in Texas we had no rain from March until mid September. I mean NO rain. The wild fires were horrid! I wish I could send the rain we've been having for two weeks out to Utah as the rain has been heavy but rarely any lightening. Good luck to everyone experiencing the wild fire conditions this year. Keep safe!

absolutely bucketing down! this means, of course, dark cloud cover. i read in the paper that anti depressants and st johns wort are up 115% last month. this is cos of no sun or perhaps just cos its britain, lol. no rain for six months sounds quite appealing to us brits, Michele.

Understandable. It's the over 100* F and out of the blue lightening strikes, with no rain, that is scary. We are making up for it this year though. I'm thankful that the lakes are coming back up, the cattle have enough to eat this year and that the firemen are idle! Hey, Spooky, the gray can't last forever....right?

I am sure Spooky will agree but it is hard to recall a three month period with so much rain here in the UK. The huge irony is the week before the rain started in anger there was a widespread drought order announced - hosepipe bans, etc.

I admire you coping with 100f temperatures - I spent two years in Australia and melted !

Wow! Not for nuthin' but a Brit saying that is saying something. I work with many ex-pats and whenever they talk about the weather in GB the word is gloomy. Now I know it isn't that way ALL the time but I know a long period of yuck is depressing. Maybe find some suntanning beds? Oh yeah, skin cancer and all that! Good luck all. Wishing some sun your way.

I think we are getting all the bad weather out of the way before the Olympics. Often booking a holiday is all about chasing the sun & warmth - I guess you have a different perspective on it?

Adelaide, South Australia is sitting around 15C max with intermittent rain and hail, so generally poor weather -- but we shouldn't complain, it'll get dry soon enough, and it would be nice to actually fill the reservoirs for a change! Though, given the choice, I'd go back to summer in Japan instead :)

Sun, DRY (no rain for weeks now) ......and supposed to be in the 90's- about 32-34 C. (was 33 C yesterday!)

I'm starting to get so fed up of the rain here, the sun shines through my window waking me up in the morning and giving me hope, then it quickly clouds over and tips it down for the rest of the day!
I have my graduation ceremony next week - outside! Please Please get nice for it!!

I really hope the weathers good for this milestone in your life.WELL DONE!!!!:medal1::medal1::banana::cheerss::award2:

Rain, rain go away! 14 days in a row now. I do believe I understand the depression rate in the areas that get little sun and lots of yuck.

We could use some days of rain. Normally, I only want one day of rain at a time (I must have solar powered body, lol), but right now, we are where you all in Texas were last summer. Severe drought.

I must admit, I prefer the rain to the drought conditions of last year. I feel for you. One good thing about the rain? I don't feel bad about not doing my hair! Must find our silver linings!

Absolutely crappy!...rain, cold, wind and more rain, blah!...

Ho Hum,dull, little showers, quite cool.I hope it gets better for the OLYMPICS............not long now.The rest of the world know we've got a reputation for cr*p weather, but we don't have to prove it.Especially when we are going to take all the MEDALS as well.

83F. Stuck in the ER at the hospital so I have no idea what the skies are like outside right now. Sandy had 2 grand mal seizures this morning and would not come out of the post dictal state as usual this morning.

Oh my Doug, I am so sorry to hear about Sandy...

:getwell: Sandy!

Dusty. xxx

As expected after two weeks of rain, it is now very hot and very humid here in Houston, Texas USA. The grass looks nice though!

Bit cloudy but we are promised glorious weather for the Olympics - starting on Friday !

I will be watching on the TV! I'm excited too! Silly I guess but I've always LOVED the Olympics. Were you able to score any tickets to any events?

We have been on the annual family camp out. Weather is good.In. The high 70F at 8000 ft elevation. Sandy had 2 seizures yesterday. She had doctors orders not to go, butshe is tired of this running her life. We decided to rent a hotel room in Logan, UT and stay there at night and drive up to the camp each day. I think it has worked well.

She had no Seizures today.
