What is YOUR weather like today??

Crohn's Disease Forum

Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

Friday we had massive thunderstorms with 70MPH wind gusts. We have power again, but no internet yet. It is amazing how much we've come to depend on it!

Anyway, today it is warm, and more chances of thunderstorms.

Linda, how are you online with no internet??? I heard parts of the country got 8 in. of rain in one day! Hope you fare better today!:ghug:

We are to be hot again with thunderstorms a big possibility.

I was in the office. I usually work from home unless I have a meeting I have to attend in person, but without internet, I had to go to the office. We finally have internet at home now, which is good, since today is my colonoscopy prep day, and I had no desire to work in the office while I'm on clear liquids

Hope all goes well with the colonoscopy. let us know!:ghug:

We are supposed to have our first triple digit temp today, surprised it took until the end of June to get there. 2 Summers ago we went 67 days of triple digits straight without any rain. That was rough! The weather man says if we don't hit it today then we will tomorrow

Arizona is supposed to be 120 degrees today. You guys are in an extreme heatwave for the next 7 days. Be careful and stay cool! I really feel for you.

Here is pouring like really heavily!! Flooding is very expected.:yfrown:

We're getting less humidity :cheerleader: It should be in the low 80's today. My ideal weather (except for 28 degrees and snowing- that is my absolute favorite!!!)

I think N. Texas is actually supposed to get a cold front this weekend but I may wrong

Since we are the state just north of Arizona, we are in the same heat wave. Salt Lake City ( near me) could hit 103° this weekend, St. George Utah will bee similar to Arizona. Help, I'm melting .....

its 10:18. haven't been outside yet, and I am already drenched in sweat. still have about 20 more degrees to go to top of the temp today. bleh

Sending tons of cooling thoughts your way! I hope you get through it in one piece!

Dusty. :sun:

I'm never bad, I'm an angel. Well, at least I'm descended from Angells. (Ancestors with last name Angell)

I don't know how hot it got in town today, but we went up to the mountains today to avoid the heat. Nothing like a lake, a mountain breeze, eagles soaring overhead, and fish biting our lines to lift the spirits. Fish fry tomorrow. all invited.

So very tragic and sad about the bush fires in Arizona. :(

I hope all that reside near them are able to stay safe and well.

Thinking of you all.

Dusty. xxx

Thankyou Dusty! 19 firefighters lost their lives battling the blaze. Very sad. We here in the east are getting rain, rain and more rain everyday. Not good for the new crops to get too much rain. Plus all the flooding going on. The world is in chaos!!!:(

We're having normal July weather. Should reach about 83 degrees and sunny. Right now though, it is overcast.

We've gotten so much more rain than normal so far this year.

Right after I typed that, I got a text that we have flood warnings. I wish we could spread some of our rain to the fire area in Arizona.

Well, something is changing the whole solar system! I check for earth changes on you tube every day, lol. 37 million bees dead in the U.S. hottest recorded weather, floods the world over! omg, and today i'm like the British weather, gloomy! Stay Safe You All in The U.S

It should be beautiful out today. Another sunny day in the mid-80s. My son has a late night at camp and is looking forward to extra time in the pool.

25 degs celcius, and going to warm up for the next couple of weeks, especially down south Diane,so you've got something to look forward to.It's as much as I can bear here, but I'm not going to whine,I promise.Other people are having it really bad.

Another cold and frosty morning in paradise!

Hot and muggy~87~ with more storms expected. I may as well hit repeat eveyday!:lol:

Funny weather! It's hotter in the northwest and northeast than in mid-south. While we had our 4th of July cookout, we sat on the deck with long pants and jackets!! Last year at this time it was 100F plus!! The high here yesterday was something like 73!! Ahhhhhhmazing!! But it has rained almost non stop for the last 2 days:(! Strange days indeed!

It's 21 C (70F) feels like 26C (79F) at 11 at night. A scorcher here today, had to go out tonight to buy another fan, they are getting few and far between at the stores.

Can't walk outside in bare feet, slight breeze, but not helping.I think it's the extremes in temps.thats the problem.Doesn't give you time to adjust. We had 7c last week in Scotland on hols.,today it's 26c.

Frosty morning, -6.5c, followed by a cold but gloriously sunny day, then a lovely Winter sunset:

Stunning day. Not a cloud in the sky. Up to 30 degrees... :Flower::Flower::Flower:

Lush, shame I have to go to work this afternoon.

You guys have a heatwave coming Carol!:voodoo::(

I know, drat it.But we are in the North of the country so we don't get it quite so "bad" as the South.I can't think straight already,so don't know what I'll be like in a few days. It's nice for those who like it though,so I try not to be a moaning Minnie. It's not forever. There was still snow on the tops when we were away.

Mostly sunny and 28C (82F) feels like 35C (95F) the humidity is a bit more reasonable today and there is a bit of a breeze

looking even nicer than yesterday. So love bright warm weather. hasn't done my joints any favours though, still red and swollen. perhaps I need to lay out in the sun rather than be on loo.

3pm here and old sunny face is just staring to peep through.Because we're on the North East coast we occasionally get fog (sea fret as it's known here)during warm weather.Visitors coming to the beach from inland sometimes get a chilly surprise when they turn up in summer tops and shorts".Always take ya cardie",as me mam used to say.Walked to the shops minus a jacket, and it was warm enough for me.

Here in the land of 10,000 lakes it is going to be a hot day. We already have a pollution warning for today.

Scorcher......I also have a sun allergy Diane, but I don't sit out and when I take Alf out or shop,I always wear factor 20 or 30.or I itch (and scratch) like mad.

Drop of 10degs tomorrow (not for you Diane, you're staying HOT!!!)........Got to admit,I'm really looking forward to some coooooool.

Absolutely gorgeous, 28 degrees. Had the whole day off, heading to the pub garden with some friends for a sneaky few ice cold beers! :D :cheerss:

Flood warnings, terrible storms off and on today, especially this afternoon. Possibility of high winds, damaging hail and flooding through tomorrow morning. Lovely! You'd think I was in the UK!:voodoo:

We only got one bad storm here last evening and it blew my metal porch furniture down. It is raining gently now ,but is to clear up soon. Some North of us got tornado warnings and lots of flooding.:(

At least you're safe.I know the USA has extremes of weather which is quite terrifying. The UK is usually the butt of worlds jokes, weather wise, but we're positively balmy compared with the rest of you........Been cool and overcast most of today, but it's 4-30pm now and the sun is out.Lovely, for those who like it.
