You got anything you would like to request Ron? You usually have a couple up your sleeve. ;)

Every Memorial Day weekend we have in our town a three day event with rides, music and crafts and I was thinking of this thread. I can't think of the music now.

I have a cousin, that I have not met, that I remember being told was part of Pinks band or group. Since I heard the story second hand I probably heard that entirely wrong! The cousin has been a traveler for sure though, being all over the world for this and that. I believe he is settling down in the Pacific NW last I heard.

Wow! What a video so inspiring as I have ms and am in and out of wheel chair and walker. Spacisity I eat when I ate special utensils etc omg!!!! And now you with crohns too. Proud of you girl. When I'm feeling sorry for myself I just need to think of others I know but you are an inspiration for all! Sorry abt my song making you cry. It's my ringtone. As when I was like that my mom was just like her still is when I'm really bad. Thank you!!! Julie

It was a good cry. My husband watched it too. Made us realise how fortunate we were...my guardian angel has grey hair lol. Spasticity is the worse, I'm on baclofen for it, but only at night now so helps me sleep. It's hard going in and out of wheel chairs. I feel like people judge you, like how can you be ok this day and not that day. It's a great ringtone. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you cmack. As of this morning I'm hearing conflicting stories on whether my nephew and his high school sweet heart broke up. More gossip to be learned tomorrow. I'm proud of my nephews. In their short lives they have done very well in school. On a personal level I'm also greatly relieved that they have not developed a crippling IBD condition such as I did. The oldest nephew is soon moving on in life. He was competitively recruited to attend some top Universities. In the end though he choose to attend the small University his girl friend choose to attend.... or now possibly former girlfriend.

I think this thread is loosing steam. :rof::ytongue:

I say that jokingly of course. I was listening to this song this morning on the way back from the store. Over the years music has been a nice help with my severe stomach issues. When the gut becomes overly painful I'll typically listen to my ipod. It can be a good distraction, for me.

If you like the music please hit the thanks button, otherwise we feel like nobody is listening or enjoying it. It is totally okay to not like the music too. I'm open to requests and input of all kinds. I'm trying to lift spirits and have a little fun. No harm intended. You people are great. Props to Jane who started the thread.

I don't know. Where I learned about them was from a roommate in college that to make extra money DJ'ed special events. My roommate's good friend was a dance bar DJ and he would give me albums after he was done with them. I remember A House's album was a CD given to me. I think they were popular in Ireland. They might still be. Outside of the country, I don't think they became known other than in small college circles, at least in the US.
