Wondering if depo provera could be the cause of my issues

So I initially was told to go on the depo *** cos aza was over powering my contraceptive pill.

Its only recently ive come off nearly all my meds except azathioprine and remicade.
My bloods come back fairly normal but I still get body aches stomach tenderness I cannot lose weight no matter how little I eat that iv3le given up trying but I gets depressing ive gained a good 20lbs or more
I get pain during sex I have no sex drive im tired all the time. My joints hurt and no ine ever told me I should take a calcium supplement with this!

like everyone I blame crohns but me n my drs have been working ao hard to fix me n I do believe some of it is def crohns I still get typical crohns probs

but im beginning to wonder if I need to try n detox off these hormones and see if some of it goes away. My parents arent keen and im not keen on having periods as they aggravated my crohns bu5 I dunno just a hunch I have.

has anyone experienced similar or problems of their own?

I didn't have any problems on depo, I loved being on it. I am off of it now, it took about 6 months to get my period back and for the first time in my life, my periods effect my Crohn's. I want to go back on depo to see if that helps. I didn't gain any weight while I was on it but I have heard that a lot of people do. Talk with your obgyn about your options.

Thanks for ur experience my first time on it I didnt gain any weight either but this is getting ridiculous ive gained 10lbs in 8 weeks without changing my eating or activity levels.

I dunno I like being on the injection I just often wonder if its doing more harm than good! Like a lot of what we take lol
