That's not good Mandy. I'm sorry to hear that.
Cat, be careful re VHS I finally managed to ditch hubbys VHS, but first had to check that we had all the VHS on DVD, so technically he wasn't losing out. But we moved that box to 6 different houses we lived in.

Aura, I already know what's on hubby's VHS tapes, it's just old episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000. That show is on Netflix and I think youtube too, and it's also aired on broadcast TV here on Sunday evenings, so he won't be missing out on anything. We've fortunately only moved with that box a few times (we've lived in 2 apartments and then a house since we got married), and we've been in our current house for 8 years, so the box has been sitting in the basement collecting dust for 8 years. I want it gone! :p

Part of the issue with the basement cleanup is, it's got a purpose behind it - I want to put a bathroom in our basement. Our house currently only has one bathroom, and it's hideously ugly and needs to be remodeled (it's pink and brown!). We can't remodel that bathroom unless we have another bathroom in the house to use while the remodel is going on. So, first we need to clean and organize the basement so that there's room to put a bathroom in there. Which means, the VHS tapes have gotta go!

Mandy, I'm so sorry to hear about the cat. :( You can definitely join the pity party.

I was having a pity party of my own, and reading the above, a combined pity party sounds like it's in order. (I had a seizure last night and broke a tooth, plus got hard to understand lab test results today, before my appointment Thursday, which sounds like I might have some feared kidney problems. The lab reports are from seperate faculty than doc and posted as matter of routine on "patient portal." As I haven't talked to the doc yet, I better hold off going further into that subject.)
My only request for the party is that I get some not good for me junk food, and a stomach and body that can tolerate it. :ylol::ylol::ylol:
Sorry about the cat Mandy, I love cats but asthma made me give away three out of four (the other passed shortly after I developed asthma) (and yes, I was one of "those" cat ladies!). I really shouldn't have a dog, but I seem to tolerate most short haired dogs (to a point). I noticed that local animal shelters are waiving all adoption fees (including spaying or neutering) for black cats and dogs this month, in honor of Halloween. It's tempting, even with asthma, until about the time Allie decides to walk on my stomach again to get to Doug.
I'm really sorry about all you have going on at once, Carol, it seems when it rains, it pours. I'm glad they were able to treat everything, it sounds like, but it will take time, of course, to get everything normalized.

A bit iffy right now Sandy........lots of pain with my knee and leg but not looking forward to more surgery though it has to be done.....it is a bit intimidating with the notifications and pages of questions to fill in....same as last year and the year before.Have to go to three
Preop sessions...I am sure everyone here is familiar with it all
Also there are some other symptoms lurking in the background...it's the time of year for
Cronie episodes...such is life.
There are many a lot worse off.
The weather in Florida is very horrifying imagine two million people displaced due to the hurricane and its destructive pathways...where does all this come from?
Is somebody playing with the weather do you think?
Our weather locally has been perfect with sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
Time for bed...to sleep...perchance to dream...
Winning.....

Ah, Hamlet! And yes, I think someone is playing with the weather! Going to say goodnight myself, long day. Everyone feel better.

Hope everyone ailing feels better soon big hugs :ghug: 💝💞

I think that's everybody! :ywow:

Well, today is a new day. I can't change how I feel physically or lab values, (or how my friends feel), but I can decide how I'm going to deal with the here and now. (Lovely party, tho, Carol. The best part was playing with Kirsty's new puppy and my new cat, tho I had to give her back. :ylol::ylol:)

I think I'm going to tidy my house today, work at pulling weeds in my garden to make it look better (and thus I will feel better),maybe talk Doug into a ride to enjoy the fall colors, then watch the Utes play the Arizona Wildcats tonight on the telly. Allie even has a new Utes jersey to watch the game in (I've never put clothes on dogs just because they were cute, but I couldn't resist this one. She also has a new hoody and coat so she doesn't get so cold on fishing days. )
Everyone feel better! And remember you are all loved!
xoxo

Aw i bet she looks soooo cute.. go utes:dusty:
Ye i agree Sandy it seems we all having a rough trot one way or another at the mo. This to will pass, as the saying goes... we will over come tho because we are tough cookies !!!

:ghug:💕

Hey everyone, I'd be lost without you all. Cause when things go bad for us, I find my healthy friends don't really want to know. All they want to hear is that it's getting better. Anyway, it does look like someone flicked the crohnnie switch as so many of us are poorly at the same time. Big hugs to you all and I will post puppy pics to distract us from our pain and discomfort when we get home. In the meantime I did manage to do some gardening yesterday.

Very nice Kirsty..love the stone piles my kinda thing those. Cant wait for the puppy pics i so love puppies n dogs. Take care hun n give pup a cuddle from me 🐶🐾💕

Bought a bucket of paint and invited friends to watch the local college football game and get some painting done. Go figure...got a call from realtor for a house showing. Change of plans for the afternoon but all for the good as I am not up to painting anyways. Still wishing well for all my Crohnie friends today.

Go football! :)

Aura, your garden looks lovely! It's autumn here so not much gardening anymore this year, but my tomato plant did give me one last tomato today (pretty sure that'll be the last one of the season).

We got our basement cleaning done! Hubby still has to do some organizing, and we'll probably buy a shelving unit at some point soon. But, everything went really well. We threw out a ton of stuff - not the VHS tapes, though. :p Hubby was happy to get rid of everything else but them, so I let him keep them (he hid them away in his man cave so at least the box is out of my sight now). We made really good progress towards having a 2nd bathroom. I'm really happy with what we were able to achieve today. :D

Have been enjoying your lovely garden Kirsty..thank you for the thoughtful posting...
Cat...well done now you can plan your new bathroom.......and when you are finished maybe
You could come and help with my clothes closets too...........
Today I had a disaster and lost my keys while shopping...I have a habit of putting them on the arm of my walker...they are on a Dr Who neckband....now gone...evaporated...and I am devastated with it all.It is Thanksgiving weekend so I retraced my steps while the stores are open...no sign of any keys. The bus company will let me know if they were found.
The building superintendent gave me a new fob to open the main door and another key for my apartment door....
Some days it doesn't pay to get up...
I feel so bad about it but there's nothing else to do. I have to face the building managers on
Tuesday.....the day of my intense preop workshop ...all the dos and donts and all the home equipment I will have to buy.
Don't know how I will get through it all.
Winning..........

Meet little Jammer everyone [emoji3][emoji38][emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

How devastating Trysha. Maybe an honest person will turn in your keys. Jammer is so adorable Kirsty!

Yes, thanks Sandy.
Kirsty.......so beautiful. The beginning of a new chapter in your life. How's Wolf coping ?
I love to see cats and dogs together. At least Wolf can get in with the chooks when Jammer's being a pest.
Trysha,what can I say that will help ? Nothing,that's what.I think you need a P.A my friend.

Aura, PUPPY!!!!!! So cute, I'm glad you were finally able to bring her home! Give her lots of cuddles for us!

Scottsma, just for you since you said you love seeing dogs & cats together - here's my dog (Lily) and my cat (Lydia). Lily loves everyone and everything and feels that the cat is her best friend. Lydia does not share such sentiments and was mad at being awoken from her nap, ha ha.

What a lovely smiley little girl Lily is,such a happy soul
Lydia is a typical cat, everything and everybody is beneath her.I noted the crochet blanket too.Thankyou for sharing.

What a lovely family Cat.....almost human........
There's a chill in the autumn air...though the sun is shining...
Looking for a PA Carol....thanks for the thought...
Sandy,Shanen,Mandy thank you for the kind thoughts

Love the picture , Cat

Hey Trysha..keep smiling girl,
what dont kill us makes us stronger as the saying goes...
Our strengh is whats makes us guys so wonderful and brave n compassionate....we wont be beaten we are survivours of an extraordinary kind.
Take care hun.

Hope all are as well as can be,if not get better soon or you'll have me to deal with n you wouldnt want that now would you !!!!😃.

Scottsma, good eye! Yes, I made that blanket awhile back, it was a scrap blanket using bits of scrap yarn. That photo is a few years old but it's one of my favorites (so the blanket is a few years old too and I've gotten much better at doing stripes, ha ha!). It's hard to get both of my pets into the same photo, Lily loves posing for pictures but Lydia not so much (as you said, she's a pretty typical cat!).

Trysha, there's a chill in the air here as well and I love it! I'm snuggled up in my pajamas with a mug of ginger tea, and earlier today I took a walk with my grandmother and it was perfect "jacket weather" and just lovely for an afternoon walk. A very nice autumn so far.

Hi ya all...hope your having a good day.
I should get my car back Thursday/Friday all being well...please pray i dont bump it again😕
Sending love n hugs 💕💞💝:ghug:

Mandy, that's great that you get your car back soon! I bet you miss it. Everybody gets into bumps and scrapes sometimes, the important part is that nobody got hurt. My car has so many dings and dents, I don't even notice anymore if she gets new dings and dents! (My car is almost 16 years old, though - I was joking to my hubby earlier that my car is almost old enough to drive a car, ha ha!)

I miss my car too - it started making a funny rattling sound yesterday so the hubby took it to get it fixed (turns out a heat shield was loose and there was a small hole in the exhaust, fortunately both were an inexpensive fix). I have hubby's car today and it's huge. :p My car is tiny, hubby's car is I guess normal sized or large, but I'm so used to a tiny car that a normal sized car feels gigantic to drive! I don't like it, ha ha. I like my teeny tiny car! So please also send happy thoughts my way that I don't bump anything with this big stupid car. (I really do like the car, but I like it when I'm a passenger and hubby is driving it!)

Aw must be like driving a tank hun 😃
Happy thoughts your way for not bumping hubbys car. Hope you get your wee car back soon 💕💕

Mandy, hubby reports that my car is fixed and is "less loud" (he's not sure if it's 100%, but I reminded him that it's an old car with a lot of miles, so sometimes better but not best is good enough), so I can give him his car back as soon as I get home from work. I just have to stop at the pharmacy on my way home to pick up a refill of pred, and then get myself home in that big behemoth. :p I will be parking the car and going into the pharmacy on foot - I am not brave enough to try the drive-thru pharmacy window! Ha ha, eek, that would not be good. I will also be parking far away from other cars.

I should say one nice thing about hubby's car. It has heated seats! Ohhhh, so nice. It was a very chilly morning when I was leaving home to go to work, and the heated seat was wonderful. So I will miss that when I'm in my own car. I hope to buy a new(er) car for myself within the next year, so I might have to put heated seats on my wish list. ;)

I had my first appointment with the physical therapist. She saw me walk with my shoes off. My toes don't hit the ground and she wants me to concentrate on doing heel and then toe.

Hope it all works out for you Ron.....physio can be slow hard work but can succeed....
sometimes.....

I hope all goes well too, Ron. I know you can do it! I know of at least one person who has retrained themselves in how they walk.
Good luck with your doc appt, etc tomorrow Trysha. I realized my nephrologist appt is tomorrow also when I looked at my calendar, not Thursday as I was originally thinking, so it's doc appts all around. Good luck to all of us.
We went for a ride up into the canyons today to enjoy nature, and it was a nice diversion (Doug had today off for Columbus Day, one of the perks of working for the government even tho most people in the states don't get it off anymore as they used to.)
Have a nice day/night everyone.
Hope Jammer is behaving herself and giving you lots of joy, Kirsty.

This is time for doctor's appointments. Wednesday, I see my GI specialist. I don't know if he is going to make some change with the Humira.

Ron hope this helps you. As Trysha says it may take a while but it may be worth it in the end 💕

Cat heated seats sounds lovely. Glad your car is mended tho. My front door on the house is causing me problems now. The is jammed n i cant lock it. Having to use an internal catch to keep it shut n use my back door to go out. More money to be found that i aint got. My stars said it will be an expensive time right now...not wrong there then !!!😕
Love to all 💕💕💕💕💕

we had something like that recently and it was a simple enough fix, the rubber seals at the bottom had some dust and grit in the grooves , gave it a good hoover (used the vacuum for us readers) and it helped , even if its the catch it should not cost that much ,, just stay away from the friendly Irish builders :lol2: :lol2:.
hope you are recovering after your colonoscopy .

The trouble with cars nowadays is there are far to many gadgets to go wrong, expensively.
Back in the day,we always fixed our cars ourselves. If something went wrong,we went to the scrap yard, rooted around for the part we needed, paid a few bob for it (after a haggle with the "robbers") and off we went,'til the next time.My hubby is very clued up,mechanically not technically haha, but he wouldn't touch our car except to fill her up and do an oil change,He needs the book to do that.

I've done an oil change and replaced brake pads on an old Triumph I had. But I wouldn't trust myself on a car today.

Jammer just had his night feed. He's on four feeds a day at present. Wolf is responding well. He sniffed Jammers nose by himself so we gave wolf some treats. Teesha is slow to warm up. But she doesn't get mad around him just wary.

Hi everyone, how are you all? I have been away for a while. We were visiting my 2 month old niece in Virginia. Oh she is just perfect, we couldn't put her down and come back home. Had a lovely weekend with her. Hope you are all having good days.

Carol, how are you doing now? My dad is going through the same thing now. Shingles! He is starting to improve now though.

Good to see you , Madhu.

Cars today are definitely confusing. Last year my dad bought a car from my grandpa, it's a 2010 model year so it's not brand-new but fairly new. Shortly after he bought it, my dad got a flat tire, so he consulted the owner's manual briefly as he hadn't changed a tire yet on this car. The owner's manual literally said, "Do not use the jack that came with this car. If you get a flat tire, call a tow truck." Um, seriously? Why on earth would they provide a jack if you're not even supposed to use it??? That makes zero sense! So apparently you can't even change your own tire on some modern cars. Ridiculous!

Thanks Madhu, not seeing much improvement yet as it's only been a week.Got another couple of days on the anti-virals.The rash is sore now rather than itchy. My skiin is sore to touch around my ribs, back and front, but there is no rash in that area so I'm assuming it's nerve pain.Feeling tired but managed a grocery shop today.Miss my bike a lot.

Carol...maybe it would help you to try some BForte vitamin pills....feeling for you so much...
Shingles is a real beast of a thing.
Kirsty...the puppy is so cute and it's good the others are accepting a new family member.
Mandy.....sorry about your door..did you try Tony's suggestion...if so I hope it worked.
I'll be thinking of you with the car outings....
Ron.....hope you will soon feel better and that things improve beyond the wildest imagination.
Cat...you are such a busy person...I just loved your beautiful almost human dog.....and the lovely cat...
Went to the joint replacement preop instruction class today....quite a lot to absorb.....it was very seriously imposing looking at the hardware which will replace the bone...it was handed around the group of us and I was thinking" do I really want to go through with this.....
The alternative being increasing pain and sleepless nights.....
I know I have to but I don't want to have a stainless steel joint holding me up.....
We were told it will be two days in hospital then home with two weeks physio who comes twice a week after which you have to find and pay for the next physio for four weeks.....
Rent your own home equipment....etc
Silly me...I thought we paid for a health care system.......it's more like do it yourself.
I now feel unsure about continuing with it all.
I live alone and usually self sufficient but feel unsure about the whole programme of events
Statistically joint replacement hip and knee are 97%successful so the odds are in my favour.
Might feel better after a good cup of tea....
WINNING...........

Hi all. Glad healing is happening but sorry it's not as quick as it should be. Vehicles are an issue lately. Supported the local mechanic by having to replace a wheel bearing and leaking front axle seal. I was shocked at the cost! Then the battery crapped out and had to replace that. Got an offer on our house. It was lower than should be so we had to counter the offer and hope for the best. I understand offering less as I expect to do the same when we purchase our new home but honestly, people should be realistic and not insulting. It's as if today's generation expects to get everything handed to them rather than work for it. I guess we'll see what tomorrow brings but I could do without the added stress lately.

Vehicles are crazy complex and costly these days, you are all correct. Shanen, I hope your counter offer goes well. I was a real estate agent after I had had it working for attorneys, and as I used to tell my clients, you don't have to take any offer you are not comfortable with. It is so scary not knowing when another offer will come in tho! (Or how good it will be.)
Busy day, had my appointment with mixed results. Will tell about it tomorrow, I'm exhausted now.
On happier note became a grandaunt of two babies at once today.

Aw Sandy how lovely..so beautiful. God bless them always 💕

My door is beyond an easy fix. My friends fella is trying to get me a lock on the cheap. Fingers crossed it is cheap!!
Carol hope you find improvement fast. Its a nasty one shingles. 💕
Trysha not an easy choice for you but hopefuly if you do go ahead things will be better and easier for you in the long run. Having to pay for the physio is a stinker tho.💕
Love n hugs to all :ghug:💕💖

Jammer and I had a town day today, he travelled very well in the car in his crate for the day, seat belted in. It's looking more likely that my gastro will go for imuran (azathioprine), with allopurinol and humira. I hope he plans to monitor my WBC and bone marrow. It just gets a bit confusing at times, I know I have issues with my metabolism in regards to glucose, copper, sodium, and now the azathioprine, complicated by crohns, diabetes and PCOS. What if I don't metabolise the allopurinol the way they think I should? It does get a little scary with these drugs at times.

Hope the new mix of drugs have a good effect Aura , drugs do get scary at times , my dog loves the car as well , all we have to do is pick up the keys and he's at the door .

what would we do without pets? , they make you feel better no matter how bad you are .

Beautiful babies Sandy! Good luck with the door lock Mandy. Hope the shingles are improving Carol. Kirsty, I've done well taking Azathioprine for a couple of years now. I take it before bedtime to avoid nausea. Hi Ron and Tony.

The specialist wants me to start back up on Prevacid. If the pain doesn't stop in a month they want to do an endoscopy. They want me to call my other doctor about sending them the results of the Prometheus test. I am supposed to see my dermatologist. I have a bump on the top of my head. They want to make sure I don't have another lesion.

Hey Ron , you are really going through a rough patch as well , hope the Prevacid does the trick , I take nexium daily and it really helps , feel better soon ,

much better today double dose of Remicade has really started to kick it ,
Hope everyone else feels a bit better as well .

I am having a battle with my specialty pharmacy. For some reason, although my Humira prescription has 5 refills on it, they suspended my prescription. I was suppose to have my jab last Sunday. Kind of hard to do that without any med.

That is not right. I am sorry, Doug.

Sorry to hear of your prescription problem Doug.....I think I would be inclined to call your doctor and let them know.
I don't think a short break is likely to hurt but you need to get after this quickly...as I'm sure you are in process of doing.
You could also speak to the chief pharmacist and request written reasons for denial.
Hope it gets resolved asap with the least fuss..

Hi all my lovely friends ...just want to wish you all well and hope those feeling crappy soon feel much better..💕💕

Got my car back today yeah !!!.

:ghug:💖

I'm one of the ones feeling crappy, ugh. Tried tapering my pred below 10 mg, for the second time, and again had issues and had to go back up to 10 mg. Not fun. I ended up with a lot of abdominal pain and nausea again, still recovering from that. My body just doesn't like going below 10 mg. So I guess I'm going to stay at 10 for awhile longer...

Because I'm feeling crappy, I'm planning a quiet, restful weekend. I have a lot of sewing to do, and it's supposed to rain most of the weekend, so it sounds nice to cozy up with a pile of fabric and make some things. I got myself some adorable new fabric for way cheap at a sale, it's warm flannel with cute foxes & hedgehogs all over it. (It's seriously so cute!) I think I'm going to make myself some pajamas and maybe also pillows out of it. I'm also going to make a pillow for my niece, and a tote for my grandma's walker. I still need to finish up the quilt for my cousin's baby boy, too, so I have a lot to work on.

Aw Cat hope the crappiness goes soon. The material sounds cute to me too. Please send some pics of the things u make. I would love to see them. Happy sewing and hope you find it theraputic too hun. Xxx

Mandy, I will try to remember to take photos of my sewing projects. I still have to post some photos of my basement clean-out as well! (We forgot to take "before" photos, but I can post "after" pics.)

This isn't my photo, but this is the pillow that I'm making for both of my older nieces - this was the inspiration photo that I saw online. It's called a study pillow, so it has pockets for books and pencils, etc. My oldest niece is 13 and has decided that she only wants to wear black now, so I made her a black pillow with a bit of red lace trim on the big pocket, and I used sparkly purple for the smaller pocket. I have yet to make a pillow for my 11 year old niece, that's what I'm going to make this weekend - she still likes colors, ha ha, so she'll get a much more colorful and prettier pillow than her sister.

Large-Pillow-with-Pocket.jpg

Oh, Cat, you are so talented! I absolutely love that pillow! And it is all your fault, I spent a little extra money at the craft store yesterday, for scrapbook and cardmaking supplies, though. Looked at the yarn on sale, but realized I still have plenty here should I get really serious.
I haven't had a chance to tell you all about my appt yet, as yesterday I was too busy at the craft store and grocery market, etc., then today woke up with a migraine again. Sigh. Doing much better now, tho, if it will stay down to a dull roar. At any rate, appt actually went better than could have expected. I did misunderstand the lab results, and do not have any stage of kidney failure. YAY! Bottom line, I'm to see my gynecologist and a urologist (yay, more doctors, ha ha) to look for structural abnormalities. He did give me a med that I can take long term that helps with the bladder "spasms" and I was able to only have to get up for one bathroom trip last night instead of many. That will help my other conditions too. I guess having symptoms under control, even if not yet knowing what is causing problems, is better than nothing. And definitely, very, very, glad it's not kidney failure.
So Mandy, glad to have your wheels back?
You hanging in there, the rest of you (including Mandy)? Cat, I hope your pred taper is getting sorted out so it does you the most amount of good with the least amount of harm. Steroids are just so darn hard on the body, even if they do help with other things. But when you have no quality of life, I understand wanting to slow the taper down.
Allie is not having a good day herself, her tummy has been bothering her, poor baby. She wouldn't eat, even treats at first, and threw up a couple times. I really hurt when my baby hurts. :( I'm glad she is drinking water still. Will have to keep a close eye on her the next couple of days.
Guess I better go make dinner. Hugs to all.:ghug:

P.S. I loved the colors on the pillow. I think it is colorful, with the pockets. Did you make the quilt also? I think your niece will treasure it always, too.

Sandy, that isn't my photo, that's just the inspiration photo that I saw online that gave me the idea to make that pillow for my nieces. I've made one so far which is mostly black - I can post photos of that when I dig my camera out of my purse (probably over the weekend). I am going to make a similar one to the photo for my other niece this weekend so I'll post photos of that one as well when it's done.

As for the pred taper, I seem to be okay as long as I'm on 10 mg, but when I go lower than that I end up in a lot of pain and having nausea, bathroom trips, cramping, etc. I'm actually jealous of my cat, ha ha. :p She's been on pred for awhile herself due to some unknown issue - she was over-grooming to the point of not only having large bald patches, but also she was causing herself bleeding sores from grooming so much. The vet wasn't sure if it was allergies, stress, or something else. They tried kitty valium on her which only made her worse, so then they tried her on 10 mg pred - and she got better, her sores healed and her fur grew back. She's been on it for a little while and the vet asked us to taper her down to 5 mg. She did that like a champ, no apparent symptoms whatsoever. I wish I could taper so easily! I should have been born a cat, ha ha.

Hi all
Jammer is doing well. My GP phoned today to let me know my fecal calprotectin was 570 a bit of a jump from 165. So I'll just keep waiting, I really don't like waiting I just want to be back in remission again.

Oh i like that idea with the pillow how cool. Cant wait to see your creation. You are very talanted Cat. 💕

Sandy so glad its not kidney trouble hun n that the new meds seem to be helping. Glad also that our Doug us on the mend. Aw poor Allie hope she gets well soon.💕💕

Hi all
Jammer is doing well. My GP phoned today to let me know my fecal calprotectin was 570 a bit of a jump from 165. So I'll just keep waiting, I really don't like waiting I just want to be back in remission again.

Hi Kirsty.. i so hope you get back in remission soon. I hate waiting myself so i do feel for you there hun. Glad Jammer is doing well 💕💕

Waiting is for the birds, isn't it? I think I spoke too soon about my new med helping, I had about a zillion trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Grrr. I just don't know what to expect any more.
Cat, even tho that's not your pillow picture, I still love the idea myself.
Allie seems a little better, she at least ate a little food last night.
Carol, hun, I know you aren't feeling well, (more than normal), just want you to know we're thinking of you. 💛 🐆🌺🌻🌼🌸

Sandy, I thought of you a bit earlier today. Sometimes I go to garage sales - I saw an ad online for a local garage sale that has absolutely tons and tons of fabric! Ohh, I only have like $15 of spending money right now, plus I literally just bought 8 yards of cute fabric and I don't actually need more fabric right now. But I'm tempted to go anyway, ha ha. :p So I feel your pain, I don't need more crafting/sewing supplies but that doesn't stop me from wanting to buy more!

I have the situation with my Humira prescription fixed. Should have my meds by next Tuesday. So Tuesday will be my new shot day.
