There's a dog show at the park over the road,so going there for an hour or so.

Not sure which category to enter......Smartest,friendliest,nicest eyes,waggiest tail,shiniest coat or best behaved bitch.I might enter them all 'cos I'm always a WINNER !!!!

Go Nebraska! Steve is good he is going to do some study today. Cats are good, Teesha is purring away and Wolf is outside. I'm good at the moment. Still having daily hypos, but coping ok
 
Sounds like a good weekend day, if you could get rid of the hypos. I had to look up the continuous glucose monitoring you are going to have, I had never heard of it before. I sure hope it gives you some good answers. Are your kidneys functioning ok?
 
Hi just returned from a wedding reception, so its silly o, clock in the morning my time lol. Just winding down before I go to bed, thought I'd see if any of you guys are around. Best Wishes to all..

Back home now after a hectic wonderful time with the young couple,such good company
They return to UK on Friday 11th Sept
I have a dreaded appointment that day to sign forms for surgery...left colectomy...which makes me unhappy
My family does not know about this and I won't tell them until afterwards when I have recovered a bit
Whilst away this week my Gp has called twice and the dietician separately twice
My thyroid was out of gear and medication changed to bring it in line
That will take 4-6 weeks
Don't know what all the fuss is about but it is a long weekend so have to wait till Tuesday
to find out.
Meanwhile life goes on...I would like to feel a lot better though.

hi kirsty, i did wind down like a helter skelter, fell asleep very quickly ,it's been a hectic few days so ,i guess i was worn out :ysmile:.. hope i find you well today kirsty, and that they can help with your liver issue so you feel much better soon :hug::hug:

I'm here now, so winning! The Utes won very well the other day too, but Nebraska lost in the last one second of the game with a hail Mary pass from the other team for a touchdown. It was the first opening home game Nebraska lost in 29 years (but they usually play easy teams that game). As long as the Utes continue to do well, though, I'll be happy. So I'm winning.
Trysha, I hope you didn't overdo. I'm glad you had a good time though. Mandy, I hope your life is settling down for you now. Carol, are you considering another doggy? I hope you are feeling better too, and over any and all nausea.
Kirsty, you might want to have your docs keep an eye on your kidney function as diabetes can affect that too, that's why I asked. (Don't want to scare you any more than you already are though. Actually, they probably are keeping an eye on that as a matter of routine in other lab work.)
I hope the rest of you are as well as you can be, and all relatives, families and co-workers staying in line. Take care, and I'll be back for the last post, my final win.

Is it the weather?
It's a holiday weekend here....I detest long weekends when the store are closed
The young relatives are at a rib fest in Burlington,Ontario not far from my address
A friend drove them so I could have a restful afternoon but I ended up tidying their room
Changing their bed and making up a bed in the spare room since my nephew could not stand the intense heat last night,my niece likes the heat.
It has been in the 30s and very humid
Air conditioner going non stop
Then I gathered their washing and did that then hung it all up.
So they will have a nice surprise when they come in.
I can't stand any untidiness and their room was a bit littered with purchases packing etc
Now I can relax and maybe watch masterpiece theatre

Hi Trysha, no not the weather, getting cooler now here.. i got offered a new job last thurs ,handed in my weeks notice on fri and was told i could leave at the end of the day, with pay of notice so i have 10 days off till i start new job. had late night the night b4 last ,so ended up having an afternoon nap yesterday thus my being up late, now im up at the crack of dawn!!!
so this week will be spent doing the jobs around the house i only have energy for when im not at work, so not time off as such lol.. your like me with the mess one, my sons room always untidy ,it drives me mad as soon as he goes to his girlfriends im in like a dervish cleaning up haha...
 
Just had tea Mandy, only one hypo today but I had a bad night last night. Should be better tonight

im going to have some breakfast now, been up a 1 1/2 hrs now so getting peckish , cant eat when i 1st get up have to wait a while :ybatty: i know but thats me :lol2:

Untidy seems to be the in thing with younger folks... So busy with their cellphones and I -
pads from am to pm
I am not used to the young set from the modern world even though I have my own share of computerized devices...there's a time and a place
However I am told by friends that this is the norm in their homes too even with five year olds busy with computers
Not good for a developing brain methinks
But then I must not be an old fuddy duddy.."..

Carol I hope you are recovering nicely from the recent assault on your physique
I have been getting inflammation from gout related to the renal failure...I found that vitamin C helps as well as acupuncture. I read that the vit C neutralizes the Uric acid build up.Cant wait to see my next lab tests report.

Beautiful day in paradise, wish I was there. Spring came and went, and now we are back in winter...

Have you thought about knitting K.,? You could see how many sleepless nights it takes to knit Steve a sweater.
 
He'd get a holey one if I knit in the dark :)

They are to be checking my Remicade levels. 2 hours before infusion so good thing I'm not new to this and went early.
