How much would you all hate me if I closed this thread and opened a new one? In all seriousness, huge threads like this can be rather taxing on the forum server. I'd let one of you win ;)

You're the boss David,we are but minions in your empire.:rosette2:

But it must be understood by all, that I'm the champ,no arguments.:dusty:

I'm in Chennai. It's in the south of India, a state called Tamil Nadu. There is no winter here, it's hot all the time. I hate the American winter, so enjoying the sticky and sultry summer :D

You should visit India. There are a lot of beautiful places

Sounds great. I moved to South Florida because I hate the winter too :)

I hear there is a bad drought in India. Is your area affected?

No, it's not here. Chennai had a devastating flood in December. So I think we are good this year, but usually we are prone to drought, yes.

I had to Google what moringa is. We call it drumstick :D Yes it grows very well here, especially in May. It's peak season now. The smell is so good. We use it a lot in our food. It's rich in iron and also tastes so good when put in curry

We never eat it raw. Always cooked. It boils in the curry, and when we eat it, we open the stick and eat the stuff inside. The outer stick is always discarded

Yeah the leaves are cooked separately in water, and eaten when wilted. I hear the leaves are good to improve memory
