Hi cheryl! My scope showed no crohns, which left me puzzled. He wants to do a pillcam pending biopsy outcomes. I would have to go to Pittsburgh and stay all day while ie travels thru me. Don't want to. I may just wait and see how I do. I have been ok this past week. I am watching what I eat. He says possibly just IBS. Why then did I have ulcers in 2011?:eek2:I'm confused
 
Maybe that will give a more definative answer, hon....I've never done the pill cam. The prep nearly kills me, just for a regular scope, lol.

Cheryl the new prep wasn't bad. Just 64 oz. of gatorade with 1 bottle of miralax and 4 stool sotfeners. Easiest prep so far.Do you have to do that for pillcam as well? Or is it worse?:eek2:

It's a lovely boat,just a bit of filler and a coat of whatevers in the shed and she's ready.We could have a competition for her name.Winner gets an all expenses trip to Trevs AND gets to do the naming ceremony with a good (half)bottle of plonk.:dance::dance::dance:

we tried the naming thing with the last boat, nobody came up with anything i liked so i sold it un named. the new one is called Fluff. dont know what it means, and not sure i want to.

Means it is made like fluff, easily capsized!!!! Yow!:stinks:
 
And Teresa, I am not sure the prep for the pill cam, have never had the pill cam. But I assume it must be very similiar to prep for a normal scope. I cannot get phosphosoda down me at all, there is nothing I can disguise it in that I won't throw it all up. My last GI used mag citrate and ducolax, wasn't as bad, but man, I am soooo dehydrated by the time I get in for the scope that the nurses can't find a decent vein, and I normally have fantastic veins.

I didn't know it affected the veins! I never have trouble with veins. I guess I am lucky because many people do. The gatorade was lemon flavor and miralax was just clear, I guess that is what you were tallking about?
 
OKCheryl, so that was the go lightly I used to have to drink. It was salty and did make me feel very ill. With the prep I did this time, no problem at all. It really didn't bother me. Miralax must not fall into tha catagory?

enjoy your boat Trev. I used to water ski, when it was cool to "ski" and not use wake boards. catch a few fish. Carol, you know I love you like a big sis. :heart:
 
when I was a kid, after chilli for lunch, I had a bad case of gas. the entire elementary school was watching a movie, a rare occasion, in the auditorium. I was trying so hard to surpress. at the climax of the movie, the sound went silent, the music stopped, and uh oh! the whole school knew who did it. I was such a shy little thing then, too.
 
hey, I was just going to say that, honest. I also better shower sometime today, and make my bed (3:00 pm)
 
we are watching "biggest loser" and one contestant, Jackson, lives only 10-20 minutes from here.
 
Hi You guys!!! Where'd ya go? I just watched The Bachelor, women tell all. It was sad. Next wk is the finale. I still like mushy stuff!:hug:
 
yes, much! I actually ate real food today! Yea!! But not too much, don't want to over do it. I also went for a nice walk and did some work too.

I don't know yet. I see my doc next Monday, but he has already told me that it might become my maintiance drug. So hopefully I won't have to take it as often.

Teehee! best recording yet! I still am afraid to eat raw veg or try it after the last two times of suffering for days! yet they said no crohn's shiowed up on colonoscopy. Unless it is up higher. I was getting those pains tonight that feel like a hunger pang that takes up your whole stomach. They are like a giant bubble blowing up. So weird!!!
 
Sure are, no we can let them go, they can go watch football while we hangout on the deck looking at all the beauty!:rof:
 
I always find it intresting that they make a drug to help with one thing, but it cuases so many other problems.
 
Ok. are we taking the inside passage to see the glaciers and then the train like you mentioned too me once T? I would also like to see Banff national park in Canada, as well as, well, the whales!
 
Absolutely! Whales are sooo cool! I saw alot in Maine when we went on the cruise. Then in California we saw 2 humpbacks, but they were far off. It was so cold on the water there in June, I nearly froze out on the deck.

we are going as soon as Jamie is well enough to travel and enjoy it. I'm jealous, I've never seen a whale. You do know, T, don't you, that we started planning this last night in lieu of a pj party. even though you and I have talked about it before.
 
I'm picturing it in my head, all us sitting on deck drinking virgin strawberry dacquiris with whipped cream and a beautiful lobster dinner in front of us. Oh that would be close to heaven....:)
