Remember I had work done on my bladder last week, I truly was resting and recuperating
 
I can still pee :) but I could do that before, I'm doing good. Not sure if its been fixed or not. I find out on Thursday :)
 
Well, I hope so! I have to get my butt to bed. Almost 2 am. Say hello to all the morning risers for me. I'll be snoring! Hugs!:ghug:
 
Ah yes, the chicken on a stick. A chinese buffet favorite here.
No potato salad or baked beans? Or don't you Brits eat them at BBQ's?
 
I'd rather Drink than eat BBQ,unless there's prawns and olives and other nibbles.......................and CHOCOLATE
 
I haven't had a drink for over three years,lost the taste for it for some reason.Stopped smoking nearly 20yrs ago,but I still really miss socialising with a glass in one hand and a ciggie in the other...........ah,those were the days my friend,I thought they'd never end.
 
Then age catches up with you and your body says no to booze and yes to chocolate! The cigarettes are just a thing you have to quit or end up dead.:eek:

Quick win. I didnt drink alcohol for about 5 years.. maybe more. Like I wold have 1 glass of wine a year (at christmas just so I didnt have to be the dedicated driver EVERY year) lol. But now I again enjoy a sip or couple now and then.
 
Hi. Its better. Got a lot of sleep last weekend. But still a bit to adjust. I need to get into bed about 30 min earlier than I have been and just cant seem to do it.

How are you T?

My friend that just lost her mother in law a week ago just lost her 43 yr. old cousin Ray. he had cancer and has been battling for yrs. He was only 43 and
has 4 children he left behind. Everyone say a prayer for them plz!!!:frown::Karl:
 
Thankyou Teresa. Just needed to adjust. This week is easy we have a day off for May day.. and next week thursday is a holiday too. And the week after that I have friday off. But that wont really be a day off since my mom and I will drive (5 hours) to central Finland to attend the Finnish Crohns assosiation anual summer thing. Never been to one and we just desided to go this year since the topics were semi-interesting. But this was before I knew I would be working. SO probably tired after that, but its ok.

How is your sister doing?
 
Thats sad. My stepdads brother passed because of cancer about the same age as that. Too young. He did not have children, but is was so sad for the family.

My sister is doing amazingly well for what is going on. She still cooks, cleans does laundry, doesn't feel sorry for herself at all. I admire her so much. She is a hero in my book.
 
That is very stong of her. Make sure she knows its ok not to be strong all the time too. ;)

hi all. I'm here to win. had to deal with Ashley things today, woke up with a headache ( still have), and just put a bandage on the bridge of Doug's nose. please can I have the win, pretty please?
 
Saturday I was doing yard work.I fell and did a face plant. My glasses pushed into the bridge of my nose.I had blood, grass, and mud all over my face. I deserve a win.
 
He was scary, when he came in. It happened when a neighbor girl brought me tulips she picked right out of my front garden, ( it was pretty) lied about where she got them, then wouldn't go home when I was trying to assess Doug's injuries, blood everywhere, and she let the dog out to run down the street. She was also upset because I wouldn't make necklaces with her right then like I promised I would the day before.
 
so do you, your pictures are more than beautiful. My friend's daughter is thinking of going to live in New Zealand for a year, as a side note.

g'night all :ghug: My friend's daughter lives in Hawaii right now, but she travels a lot. Pam ( my friend) and daughter just got back from trip to New York and stayed at the Ritz Carlton. I called her spoiled. :biggrin:

My computer keeps saying that sender failed their fraud detection test and I have to unblock everytime I open a message! So, maybe noone on here is to be trusted!!!!!!!

I remember a teacher telling the class in elementary school not to trust anyone, and she was right!
 
I just got to know my mom and stepdad will be arriving from India on different flights (because they had purchased the ticket seperatly, not because of issues between them as a friend of mine right away thought when I told her). lol. Anyways. I now have to do 2 tript to the airport.. One around noon and an other 2 hours later. It takes 30 min per direction so atleast 1 hour per trip. Bummed... since this was supposed to be my day off to rest. :(
 
If I were you, I'd find somewhere near the airport and just sit there and have tea until the other flight arrives. Why make 2 separate trips when you don't have to? They are the ones who caused this, so they will have to be understanding, right?
 
What I want to do is just tell my spetdad to hang at the airpoty for a couple housr and then pick them up together. Byt my mom wanted me to do 2 trips.. no idea why exactly. Also I had asked many times before if they come on same flight and just today I got to know they dont. Just on the same day. If my moms flight was first then I would have made her get my step dad, but his is first and he does not have a driving license. So just me. I dont care about gass and stuff since its their car anyways. Just hate wasting time like that.

I would say with your bathroom issues, it's not a possibility today.That is ridiculous (Not to be rude). But, it is. Maybe Mom has something to tell you and she doesn't want your Stepdad to hear????
 
Nah. She is just not being logical or economical. Said if I dont pick him up he can take a cab. But I can't really let him do that either. Would feel bad about it. And there are toilets art the airport. Trustme I know. ;)

It can be hard to do, but if you give an inch, some people take a mile, or expect the same treatment at the very least. With family, it is even harder because your family will always be family. Stick to what you really think is right and you will do fine. The more you stand up for yourself, the easier it gets and the more you will respect yourself, and be able to give to others on your terms.

I'm coming over for tea. Do you have any herbal?

Yeah. If I had know earlier I would have planned and worked something out. But knowing the day before give no room to plan. Oh well... next time.

I have green tea.. I might have some camomil and I know I have some rose hip tea. Also rooibos wich I gues is herbal too even its a root. So have a pic of what you like and I will make it for you. ;)

Don't give her Chamomil. she will go to sleep!!!:lol2:
 
I will then just give her some black tea and it will keep her awake. Not that it does that to me. I have been drinking black tea lately and sleep just fine. Which is actually exactly what I will go do now. SO happy to sleep in tomorrow. Good night.

Just one more small rant. On my evening walk today I picked up about a poop-bad amount of broken glass. It was at a path we walk through daily and did not somehow seem to have gotten there by accident. Some people are so stupid and cruel. I noticed it earlier today and had decided that if it was still there by morning I would clean it up but then did it tonight allready because I know a lot of dog people walk there and cant stand it to someone to get hurt for that.

Good deed of the month. Too bad the mont now changes so I will have to do an other one soon. :p

Oh hhh, the rose hip tea, please. I'm also supposed to avoid caffeine.

I'm eating a late lunch, a turkey sandwich, carrots, grapes and a dab of potato salad. I've been working hard today, so need the calories or will have my blood sugar levels drop and go to sleep. I'm a delicate soul with fine tuning needs. :)
 
you have to wait a bit for May. It is weird to think that at the exact same second everywhere in the world, even in the universe, it is different times everywhere.
