By a four yr. old,
"Love is what's in a room with you on Christmas when you stop opening presents.":ghug:

Trev, even with two good eyes I missed the entrance to Queen Charlotte Sound and had to go through Tory Chanel - or vice versa - I missed the first gap - it was at 1 am in the morning and I was at the helm of the Spirit of New Zealand.

"Eggy naki" "Nicky Naki Noo" "Eye 4 Naki" "Captain Deb"

OK I'm back, she was out there barking her head off and then a bunch of other dogs starting. Mikes on phone,BRB.

I just got back too. Oto's dad just called. Have another idea, Trev, but I'm slow on cell so going to cut message in half.

Mike just hung up too. He is already telling me to stop and pickup something to make for dinner tomorrow on my way home~ how romantic!:(

Doug trying to tell me what's on TV too. I call Doug's car "Wonder" short for"Gutless Wonder" (he hates that, but it's a hybrid and they've tried to save on gas usage in several ways, so you could call it (please don't take offense, it is meant to lighten your spirits, I promise) "Wonder" short for (please, please don't take offense, it really is meant to lighten the situation) "one eyed Wonder." You can make everyone else wonder what.

Teresa, you are now either MT, short for Mother Teresa, or Treesy, just because it has a nice ring to it. If you don't like it, I won't be offended and will go back to Teresa, which is a lovely name in itself.

I prefer Teresa. Treesy sounds like I'm a treehugger. HUHHUH:lol:.
I was about to give up on you coming back. It takes so long for you to answer from your phone. I'm going to go soon because I definately want to get up at 8am tomorrow and get the sheets washed and get done and head towards home. Now that I know I'm going home, I can't wait.

I do miss my hubby and my bed and my little house too. I have to go home and clean there too because Glenn and Barb are coming up Thurs. after I get back from group at church. Barb has never been up our place. I have to figure out something to serve.:eek2:

Teresa it is, then. No tree hugger's around here. I understand. You are, and shall forever be, Teresa. I'll go too, Doug wants me to watch TV withhim. Ttyl. Be well all.

Have a great visit, then, and I will try to help you, from the non-cook Sandy, think of a menu.

I really hope I didn't offend you Trev. I DO think you are a wonder, a wonderful guy, a wonder for all you deal with healthwise, a wonder for staying around in this forum when you don't know if it is "safe," etc. I also think you can do anything you want, one eye not working too well or not. Hang in there. And ask my daughter, I only tease the ones I love. (Good thing you and Deb are long distance, I don't want either one of you to misunderstand that last statement.)

:rosette2: Sandy, while I can't speak for Trev - I can share that I too was trying to think of one-eyed names for the boat as well. Cyclops is out I guess - alot of our rugby supporters are very much one-eyed here - but that is normally for Canterbury supporters. Trev is a good man, with a great sense of humour and playfulness - and we are just trying to support him in our friendly and playfull way - to let him know we truly care about him.

Luvs ya Sandy

:hug:Luvs ya too, Kirsty. I know Trev is a good man, but you said much more eloquently than I, what I was trying to say. We have to support ours don't we?:ghug:

Yes we sure do - with our wierd and whacky lot in life - its great that we have each other

I have a talk to give on Thursday - so working on that today. Sorting out my self-employed stuff from September. Cupboards are empty so need to buy some shopping. My local team Gillingham are playing away at Northampton tonight - so will see if I can find a radio commentary.

Then I might hang around here making sure people behave themselves.

Have you done good things today?

I have been working hard on recording podcasts and today I backed up everything on to CD as well as the hard drive. I went for a walk to post office - but also trying to take it easy after all I did have humira jab yesterday - so I try not to overdo it the day after. Tomorrow my folks are coming over for lunch. What's your talk on?

What's your talk on?

About Hoyo de Monterrey cigars plus a few related bits - another tough night of boozing and smoking in the name of work!

My sister takes Humira - she does not have Crohn's or similar but suffers badly from arthritis and has had knee, hip, shoulder joints replaced - Humira is the medication. Her treatment is on the NHS - she tells me Humira is extremely expensive to produce?

I wish I knew something about cigars - the only thing I know is that when hubby has one I like the way it smells. :) Yes Humira is expensive - I get it on our health system here otherwise I could not afford it - here it is $20K a year

Your husband sounds a decent sort - I like anyone who likes cigars!

Humira must be quite a money spinner somewhere down the line.

I show hubby the pic when he comes back home. Thanks for that. I start scoping out the next 4 areas of learning for my recordings - the material is written I just need to put the logos on it and record. I'll get my whiteboard out tomorrow and map out my plan to get it done.

Where do those cigars come from? What do you prefer to drink when you have a cigar?

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.2. rrp £15.90
The Hoyo Epicure No.2. Havana cigar, from the Vuelta Abajo region, has been a favourite in the UK for generations. It was one of the original Robusto sized cigars (4 7/8ths x 50 gauge) long before the size enjoyed the huge popularity of today. The Hoyo brand was established in 1865 and throughout its history has been one of the top rated brands internationally.
The Hoyo Epicure No.2. is packed in a square, plain cabinet box (SLB) with the cigars tied in a yellow silk ribbon. This is traditionally how the finest Havana cigars are presented. The medium strength along with a creamy, slightly sweet flavour has made the Hoyo Epicure No.2. a firm favourite.
This cigar has avoided ‘good and bad’ periods of production, as most of the prestige cigars do, so any year of production would be a good choice. However if you like an aged cigar please note that before 2005 the Hoyo Epicure No.2 did not carry a band. Between 2005 and 2008 it carried one band and since then the familiar double-banding.

Fantastic - it feels good to learn something knew. I will share the info when hubby calls. So what do you like to drink? I am assuming a cuppa of tea and cigar is out of the question? More like a spirit of some kind?

When I win, I'll make sure to have two of those. For myself and for the runner up. I'm generous like that.

That is a kind thought - and good luck with the thought that you will win :ylol2: some of us have been waiting for ages, we feel it for that brief moment and then it is gone just like...

By the way - Just this minute back from the gym - I have not been by the laptop for six hours waiting for someone to post!

:rof:Hello back to you, and I hope you have a lovely day in England also. I also haven't been sitting by my phone for six hours waiting for someone to post, I fell asleep in between. :rof:

However, I was just going to get my breakfast and "wake up pill" so I could function, get housework done, and exercise myself.

Have a great day everyone. No more bad news on this forum, okay. It's scary, I'm starting to care about everyone here!

Good morning sweet friends! Robert you are being a gem today! Bless you and hello to all my friends. Getting ready to leave here and go home. Talk to you all later on!

Now, how in the world did I spoil it? I singled you out, being the special person that you are. Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids!
You don't go to the Peacock Gym, do you?

You don't go to the Peacock Gym, do you?

You see Teresa spotted it - so shame on you Cheryl (Peril).

Actually it is a Peacock gym - very trendy with health club, restaurant, river views, etc. I am far happier in a sweaty 'hard core' gym - but this is a 10 minute walk! I know it shouldn't annoy me but I have no time for these people who use the gym as a status symbol and are more concerned about what they are wearing - they are always in my way. I am going to stop because it will turn into a rant. ..................breathe..................

I used to do High impact aerobics until a few years ago.3 times a week and I LOVED it.It's true what they say about endorphins. We had a laugh as you can imagine,me being me.AND I was "best achiever" in 2001.I missed it for ages after I had to pack in and no,I wasn't expelled.Put some weight on since, but I don't wobble (yet).Been to hairdressers today.I keep my hair really short and it's quite grey now.So now you know.Short 5ft 2ins.grey hair and slightly overweight and 64yrs old.so for being honest I'll take the win.I do bear an uncanny resemblance to Angelina Jolie though,so that's a bonus

Last---in for the win------

Hi Everyone---hope you are all having a good day-----

Guess what! I came home from dogsitting and my whole livingroom is torn apart and there is a new 55 inch flatscreen TV- LCD on a new stand!!! I guess this is the new car I need so desperately. I hope it drives well in the winter:rof:!!! My hubs says it's only $10..00 a month for 18 months. Interest free. I guess I shouldn't complain. He works so hard. But jeez, I need a new car!!!

$180 - now that's a deal. At 55 inch length it is taller than Carol (well I was not going to be too nice).

The cost was $1050.00 not $80.00 I guess minimum payment is $10.00 amonth and no interest for 18 months. I've got to talk to him again. I never thought of that!

Slippin' in for a win.....

I get to watch a LCD TV for free. My oldest son is still deployed but slated to return to the states soon. (I hope) Anyways, he ordered a brand new humongous one that we got to "test out" but it was way too big for our family room so I had hubby box it up and put it away. Son has now sent the TV he bought and used while overseas and it is much smaller. Still too big to fit were the current old one is but we'll see how we can manage with it. We have to make sure it is still working from being shipped overseas. Tough job!

Hmm.. I hate money.. never enough to get by. Crappy crap crap.

My dog had just been diagnosed with Colitis (really.. no joke. I got to know this last week). And it seems my expenses for upkeep of him is gonna atleast double ot triple. Speciality food.. meds. On top of that I allready have a cat that has food allergies and is on a special diet for that. Its so stressful. Why stupid stuff like this happens.

Sorry.. just really need to vent a bit. Sometimes life just feels so unfair.

...takin' back my win...

I'm going to sign off here and go see if I can get the ultra sound done of the bicep or at least get the appt set up. I have more pain and increase in size on bicep that already has two unresolved blood clots. Blah......

Sorry Sannis. life is unfair, but you still have to appreciate all the good things you have. It could always be much worse.

I was going to ask how youare Glori. Let me know next time on.

Robert, I dare you - I'm up for a make over :ylol2: - In five minutes I get to rinse the dye out of my hair - go for it

Don't think you understand this game - you have to tell us about yourself and I 'improve' it for you!

What would we do without our hairdye??? Oh my! Think how much different we would look. I'd have dark brown hair and gray around the edges and here and there. I can't imagine.
I am so tired. I came home to more work than I ever thought I would. Mike bought a huge flatscreen TV and everything was strewn about willy nilly everywhere. The old entertainment stand was huge and I had all these pictures and CD's in it etc... Now they need somewhere to be and there's no room. If a woman screams in her house and nobodie's home. Does she really make a sound???:ylol2: Oh yeah!

What has that got to do with my situation? Are you saying women don't work as hard as a man? HaHa Ha! You even can't say that and mean it. You know full well women do the brunt of the nasty work that men would never do.
Don't think you got my dander up. You didn't. I was truly looking for support on my support forum. Thanx!!!

Robert, I have my picture up - that's me - but my hair is longer now I think I have one of me with my baking on my page as well - well the sushi was mine :ylol2:

Also Robert, Teresa has it almost correct. If we act like a man, then you, as a women :)ylol2::rof::ylol2::rof:) will be doing something like being in the hospital on your deathbed or out away for leave because if you don't your hubby and teenaged son are going to send you to the insane asylum, only to find every dish since you were gone overflowing from the sink to the countertops, the fridge empty of food, and while you can't hardly walk saying, my honey, I'm glad you're home while the hubby sits down to read the newspaper.

How are you going to fix me Robbie? Huh? Huh?

(but you are entertaining)

Wow. Poor puppy. I am so sorry.

Hi Sanni, I don't hate money, I hate the lack thereof. I, too, am sorry about your dog. that is just strange.

Glory! Since Teresa already asked how you are I will just say hi, and that we miss you!:ghug:

Teresa has been dog sitting at her sister's house, and I swear everyone else has had some level of medical problems. Did you start it? (ha ha) - oh, and Robert is Robert.

sorry i have not been on in a few days. The last few days in the hospital has been test, test, and more test. I am being tortured right now. I drink a lot of water and pee a lot. doc said I pee 12 liters a day when normal person only pee 2 liters. they have me on water restriction all day for a stupid test and I am only allowed to have 1 liter of fluid. Really guys.....really. well at least they are giving me Dilaudid every 4 hours, waiting on next shot now. I just wish I could get some to take home. oh yeah had a spinal tap this morning, needless to say my back is killing me.

Sorry to hear that you are having all these tests. That is no fun at all :( Hope you feel better soon.

If it makes you feel any better. I have been puking my guts out the past few days. (no pun intended! lol) Note to self: Stop eating trigger foods! :duh:

But I do hope that you feel better soon!

Thanks guitar I will be over soon thankfully.
I know what you mean about craving trigger foods. So good going down but no fun coming up

Hi friends!
I was helping Mike move out to the porch, our huge entertainment center because the new TV wont work in it. He was doing the lifting and sliding where possible. But to get it on the porch we had to bring it down a step. I had to lift just to get the back down without slamming it and breaking glass doors and I strained my back and right shoulder. Had to take half a muscle relaxer to sleep. And today am in pain. Mike feels so bad. But it wasn't his fault. We are donating it to a charity here and they are picking it up today. So we had to get it outside. Took a painpill. Hope it helps soon.

Wifey and GJ I hope you are both feeling better soon. We are a fine mess, aren't we. Glori hope you are getting better too!!!
