Hi it's Saturday night here and we are watching a movie - well hubs is and I am on the laptop. I have an awesome sofa that is just like a bed - its a double chaise lounge :biggrin:

On Tuesday I go to Blenheim for a week to do some work for hubs - at least it will help me get in to the work routine again and see how I cope. I have 45 hours work, and I get paid - even better. Also we get to have a week together and then we can explore the region - great wine making region.
 
Thats great. You will be missed. Sounds as tho you'll have some wonderful time together. You'll b truely missed :(.
 
It is late for me :biggrin: hubs is watching a movie that I dont like so I am on the laptop.
 
Just talked to j.bug on the phone and she sends her love to you and all those supporting her. She is still in pain, but better spirits. They are going to laproscopically remove the stone in a couple days because if they blast it, it will be too many pieces for her to pass. Not to mention painful. She said she will be back on the forum soon again. she has to charge her phone. It died when we were talking.(Imagine that? Me talking that long! LOL!).She is so thankful to you all for caring. She needed that right now!!!

Oh robert...you could be mean, but.how would that look righ now???! I'm stuck in a hoapital bed and just had surgery yesterday!!!

Thank you all so much!!! I feel so loved. Y'all have helped me renew my spirits. Yesterday was my first surgery. It was rough before the surgery! Lol! I was stuck curled up in a ball. The nurses were forced to move me onto the gurney in the same position I was in!

After that surgery, like teresa said, I am in less pain. Still pretty bad, but nothin I can't handle!!! They expect me to be here until atleast Tuesday. Guess the infection is bad. They are making sure it stays out of my blood. And I learned that what type of stone this is, means they will come back over and over.

T, my phone is still deadish. The hubby is bringing me a charger and extetion cord...so give me a call a lil later. I am one hr behind you. Still have that insomnia, though like I said, I finally did sleep last night!

I can't think who it is, but i know there was another author in the same genre named Mike somebody or other. Carol, Do you know who that could be?

I'm thinking of staying home from a Utes game. I have Doug's D., felt fine that waye till i ate though, then D. and upset stomach. Also, sorry to keep harping on this subject, but i keep having my seizures also, and more than lately. I seem to have at least one a day lately, sometimes up to three. Today (until I ate which was after) i felt pretty good, then ZAP! Outta nowhere. Usually i don't feel good before. And my Neuro is outta town (she went on a the three week European vacation and didn't take me:ywow:!) I don't trust anyone, especially ERs, in regard to my health care (okay, I'm paranoid now. Wonder if there is aparanoid forum? (Joke for all you newbies) sso feel like i don't have anyone to help.

Regarding Doug, everything he said is true, but it didn't help that he forgot his meds the night before. Then that morning. He is usually much better than that and has drilled it into my head about the meds, because i can't miss one dose without :yfaint:. Sorry Doug, just had to say.

We sure are all in good shape lately, aren't we?
 
Jen great to hear from you. I am glad that you are getting some of that pain sorted - it is good to hear and you are making progress each step of the way. YEA for less pain.

I'm awake - I slept in today and have just had breakfast. It's raining here today and I just need to do the ironing and bake some cookies.

I had pain last night and still got it this morning - my fault for making the carrot salad - but I love it!
 
i think Dusty Kat and I should get a prize, we have been slinging shit at each other for over 500 pages, check the first page, as Mrs Brown would say. we were there. so come on guys, sort out a prize.

yes persisting down here, just finnished my coffee and heading out to the workshop to finish welding brackets for motohome box. always busy.
 
Hope the welding goes well - after cuppa I hope to make chocolate chippie cookies. But I think hubs wants a cake. Time well tell.
 
We are about to get hammered with the biggest storm ever to hit us in America. A winter storm colliding with a hurricane. i went shopping today to stock up. They say we could get 2 feet of snow, power outages etc... Just trusting god to see us thru once again! Say a prayer for us,K?:ghug:

I am good. Did not do much today, just cleaned house, went to church and out to dinner. Typical Saturday. Although it has gotten pretty cold here lately, but in a few days it will be 85 again. Just in time for Halloween.

Slow to respond. Doug and Ashley got home from the Utes game and i forgot my conversation with you. Sorry. Utes are finally showing the way they have played the past seven seasons. 49 to 27 for the Utes. They were playing much more like they used to. Coach W. said they were finally starting to play like they do Monday thru Friday (in practice).

Our clocks went back an hour last night so almost 9am here. Watched Godfather I and II last night - that's about 5 hours of sheer enjoyment for me!
