Not sure what you lot have been babbling about the last 10 minutes - I have been out getting Sunday newspapers.

I could train to be a tattoo artist - fit women only though of course.

It is funny - sometimes I think I have met my match in Dusty ......... buy Nah! she is just a pussy cat compared to me!

:hallo3::hallo3:

I have a very special trimming devise. You want to borrow it?

I just combined 2 photos. In a primitive program like paint. lol I think the head photo was taken this spring when I trimmed him for summer and the x-ray was taken at the vet a couple months back and they gave it to me on a cd last week when I asked for it. My man suggested we add a head to the x-ray for a laugh and found a perfect fit for it. Had fun doing it. :D

Hi Trev, Angel and Sandy

Back from docs - all good - got most of what I wanted. Trev, didnt get the oxy - shit happens - I have to use tramadol instead.

Hi back too Angel. Muah! How late did you sleep today after your insomnia? That was a fast trip to the doc, Kirsty. The kind i like. Trev, how are ya? Robert would be pleased to hear I'm making tuna casserole. Not as involved as Teresa's, but a lot more involved than Robert's. Still involves white sauce. I make that with my eyes closed, because as a kid my fav was baked mac'n'cheese, and i made it constantly. And still stayed skinny. What happened?!?

I kill roasts. I used to make a nice roast, when i was growing up. Always turned out right, and i took turns every Sunday with my sister Adriene. They were always good. Now I'm lucky if they turn out right.

I just decided that in addition to wanting a hugs button because i feel sorry for you button, i think we should be able to thank ourselves for posts that we think were extraordinarily good when nobody else thanked us.:thumleft:

(Not the one about the roasts.)

Sandy you are awesome hun! I just got my jab out of the fridge and soon I will jab. Going to paint my nails during it all - it takes ages for them to set so they dont get munted. Hubs will be home early today as we fly out tomoro - hey Trev he is in New Plymouth this morning :lol2: - he so gets around

tell Steve to call for a coffee.

Trev, if he was up there for a few more hours I would. He had an early meeting then a presentation and then back to the airport. Comes home to sort out the fish pond and lawns and pack then we off :ylol: yahoo!

:rof: I could see it now Robert-when they make an appointment they have to fax you a pic for approval!

I win - as I done my jab! Surprisingly, I had a nap - :ylol: Can someone tell me how do you work with Humira and stay awake after the jab? What is it like the day after the jab at work?

Don't think it will ever end! It's bugging me!

Hi Diyana,
Are you referring to your illness, hun? Illnesses can feel so very overwhelming at times, can't they? I feel like a part of this group even though i don't have an IBD, but my husband does (Doug, or DougUte). However, between the two of us, we practically pay the medical personnel's wages at our local hospital. That is why we get so crazy on this forum thread at times. Basically, we really do care about each other, and it is a release, or we would go crazy. I think even this thread has been a little harsh lately though, in our bantering, and hope that is not what you mean. Just know we are here for you.

Nice post Sandy bee:heart:, you are so sweet!!! I honestly think her post showed up on our thread by mistake. I never saw her before and what she wrote didn't fit the conversation! Maybe???:shifty:

Diyanna, correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't you been here before, at least once? If not, hi, and welcome. To the looney bin.

Are you getting the rain, etc., yet Teresa? I haven't had a chance to check the weather out yet.

Are you getting the rain, etc., yet Teresa? I haven't had a chance to check the weather out yet.

Honest to goodness. I was just going to say that the hurricane hasn't hit us hard yet. It is raining, but not heavy yet. The worst is coming tomorrow night into Tues. So you read my mind!! freaky:ywow::ywow::ywow:

Not freaky. We are all concerned. And i really am traumatized from our last big wind storm here. December 1, 2011. And i never remember dates.

I cannot even imagine having my roof blown off!!!
About remembering dates. My housefire was Jan18th1987 and I'll never forget that date either. I know exactly what you mean!!!

I honestly think we will just get alot of rain and some flooding of low lying areas and winds of up to 45 mile per hour gusts. That is my biggest concern. The mountains of W. Virginia and Kentucky could get up to 2 ft. of snow!!!

Our wind gusts (180 mph) are acting up here. February 12, 2011 totalled my vehicle, 15,000 damage to my hubbies n lets not even start on the house. :ywow:

We had winds in the area reported up to 142 in December, but it wasn't an official reading. The official ones were in the nineties. No official tornado either, but several saw it and one even recorded it on his cell phone.

We lived in a house with no basement, just a crawl space and the landlord had a plumber come and put heat tape around the pipes under there so they wouldn't freeze. Well, the plumber wrapped them with insulation and you weren't supposed to and they shorted outand started a fir that went thru the wall from my diningroom straigh tup into my bathroom and kids bedroom. They fell stright down into the kitchen. If it had happened when we were asleep, both my kids and I would ahve died. My first husband was in CT. training for a new job. We lost almost everything and had no insurance, It was a cursed life with him!
